Queensland builder-developer MAYD has revealed the first look at its major North Kirra beachfront development, lodging amended plans that reduce the number of apartments and increase the proportion of larger residences.

The project is planned across a substantial 4,742 sqm amalgamated site spanning seven lots at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/2-6-pacific-parade-bilinga-qld-4225">2-6 Pacific Parade</a> and 27-33 Golden Four Drive in Bilin​ga, directly opposite Nor​th Kirra Beach.

<a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/mayd-group">MAYD</a> secured the site for $32.5 million in 2025, in what was one of the Gold Coast's largest property transactions of the year.

The development will be delivered across two stages, with the first stage carrying an estimated gross realisation value of around $360 million.

The latest amendments seek to reduce the overall apartment count and shift the project further toward the owner-occupier market, with larger residences designed for buyers wanting considerably more space than traditionally offered in a beachfront apartment.

The residential mix will include townhomes, oversized two-bedroom apartments, substantial three-bedroom residences and four-bedroom homes.

MAYD has appointed Cera Stribley to lead the architecture and interiors, with the Melbourne-based design practice drawing on the beachfront setting through a series of ocean-facing terraces and heavily landscaped balconies.

Strong horizontal forms and curved balconies will define the exterior, with subtropical landscaping integrated throughout the building to soften the built form and increase the connection between the residences and the beachfront.

The project will also include an extensive collection of resident wellness and lifestyle facilities, continuing the broader shift across the Gold Coast's luxury apartment market toward larger homes supported by resort-style amenity.

MAYD Founder Todd Mould said North Kirra was increasingly appealing to buyers attracted to the more established, lower-density character of the southern Gold Coast.

"North Kirra presents one of the most compelling luxury residential opportunities currently emerging in Australia, combining absolute beachfront with the character and authenticity that buyers are increasingly seeking, and the same sense of tight-knit community that defined Burleigh and Currumbin perhaps 10 or 15 years ago," Mould said.

"With Gold Coast Airport on its doorstep, it also offers a level of accessibility that broadens its appeal across almost every market demographic."

The project comes as the southern Gold Coast continues to attract an increasing share of high-end apartment development and buyer activity.

Kirra in particular has emerged as one of the region's more tightly held beachfront markets, with its relatively low-density character, established surf and hospitality scene and proximity to Gold Coast Airport differentiating it from the higher-density markets further north.

Mould said those characteristics had informed the approach MAYD and Cera Stribley had taken to the project.

"We've worked closely with Cera Stribley to create a vision that is deeply connected to its surroundings," he said.

"Inspired by the coastline itself, the architecture has been shaped around space, privacy and resort-style living, creating a collection of homes that reflects the next generation of luxury on the southern Gold Coast."

MOTIV Managing Director Carly Cottam, who has been appointed to market the project, said buyer attention had continued to move south along the Gold Coast.

"Purchasers who may once have defaulted to Broadbeach, Main Beach or Surfers Paradise are increasingly recognising the value of a genuine beachfront location that offers lower density, strong amenity and a more established sense of community," Cottam said.

"Kirra has a powerful combination of growing demand and genuine scarcity. Beachfront supply is inherently constrained, the area remains relatively low density, and buyers are increasingly placing a premium on locations that feel established, uncrowded and authentic rather than heavily developed."

Cottam said the proximity to Gold Coast Airport was also proving increasingly important for interstate and second-home buyers.

"Being minutes from Gold Coast Airport makes it particularly compelling for interstate buyers, frequent travellers and second-home purchasers who can access an authentic coastal lifestyle almost immediately after stepping off a flight."

The acquisition takes MAYD's active development portfolio to more than $500 million, with the North Kirra project representing one of its largest undertakings to date.

Castle Hill, the longtime hub of the Hills District, has been one of the major beneficiaries of Sydney's Metro expansion, with improved connectivity helping drive continued population growth, development and buyer demand across the Hills District.

But despite that growth, the suburb has seen relatively few major new apartment projects brought to market over the past 18 months.

The project will comprise three residential towers alongside a hotel, restaurants, cafes and a skybar, more than 1,600 sqm of ground-floor retail and almost an acre of landscaped gardens.

It represents the largest project undertaken by Reve Group, the development arm of the Kassis family, which has been building across the Hills District for more than 30 years through Kassis Homes.

Nova Rêve also represents a significant step up from the family's first apartment development, Grand Rêve, which was delivered nearby on Garthowen Crescent.

Grand Rêve introduced larger, house-like apartment layouts and premium inclusions including Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances to the Castle Hill market.

Nova Rêve takes that approach to a precinct scale, combining the residential component with hospitality, retail and substantial public and resident landscaping.

Reve Group Managing Director Sam Kassis said the project reflected the family's three decades of building in the Hills, which has evolved from trophy homes on quarter-acre blocks to larger-scale apartment development.

"Grand Rêve was our first apartment project here and it showed us what this pocket of Castle Hill could be. Nova Rêve is the refinement of that idea: not just apartments, but a place the whole suburb can use," Kassis said.

A key part of that approach is the hotel, which has been designed to operate as an amenity for the wider Castle Hill community rather than solely hotel guests.

It will include restaurants, cafes, skybars and all-day dining, alongside conference and event facilities catering to business functions, community groups and private events.

At ground level, more than 1,600 sqm of shops and cafes will open onto the surrounding streets and landscaped areas.

Almost an acre of gardens designed by Land and Form Studios will run through the precinct, incorporating pathways, seating, barbecue areas and children's play spaces.

Reve Group's Romio Georges said creating an active ground plane had been central to the planning of Nova Rêve.

"There are gardens with pathways, barbecues, seating and play areas, shops and cafes opening onto the street, and a hotel with restaurants and a skybar that anyone in Castle Hill can walk into," Georges said.

The project's elevated position on one of Sydney's highest ridgelines will also provide apartments with outlooks toward the Sydney skyline, surrounding parkland and the Blue Mountains.

More than 80 per cent of the apartments will occupy corner positions, with Turner responsible for both the architecture and interiors.

Maréa Residences brings parkside apartments to Coolangatta

Melbourne developer PDG has secured Victorian Government approval for its $1.5 billion Southbank development <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/the-one-1-queens-bridge-street-southbank-vic-3006">The One</a>, clearing the way for the long-dormant riverfront site opposite Crown to finally be developed.

The Minister for Planning has approved the project at 1-29 Queens Bridge Street, with the Department of Transport and Planning issuing the planning permit following its assessment.

The approval will allow PDG to develop the prominent 5,059 sqm site with a major mixed-use tower comprising premium apartments, including branded residences, a luxury hotel and boutique office space.

PDG acquired the site in late 2024, with its position directly opposite Crown's main entrance and near Melbourne's Arts Precinct making it one of Southbank's most significant remaining development opportunities.

Designed by COX in collaboration with ODO and PDG, the tower's architecture draws on the movement of the Yarra River, with six vertical pleats running the height of the sculpted facade.

The project will also see the heritage-listed Queens Bridge Hotel restored and incorporated into the development&nbsp;with new hospitality and public uses, including a rooftop venue.

A significant component of The One will be its residential amenity.

More than 5,000 sqm of resident facilities will be delivered across a single level, making it one of the largest consolidated residential amenity offerings proposed in an Australian apartment development.

The planning approval also incorporates a major upgrade of Queensbridge Square, which PDG will deliver in partnership with the City of Melbourne.

The existing square will be revitalised as a new civic and pedestrian space along the Yarra River, strengthening the connection between the project, Southbank and the riverfront.

PDG Founder and Managing Director Vince Giuliano said the approval represented a major milestone for a site which has remained largely underutilised for more than 15 years.

“This is the most significant Planning Permit approval Melbourne has seen in recent years,” Giuliano said.

“For more than 15 years, this site has remained underutilised. This approval enables us to deliver a project that will contribute meaningfully to the revitalisation of Southbank, restore and reactivate an important heritage building, and create a new civic and hospitality destination for Melbourne.”

The latest approval follows an earlier planning permit issued by the City of Melbourne covering demolition works across part of the site at 9-29 Queens Bridge Street. Those demolition and early works are already underway.

PDG has also started generating early interest in the residential component from owner-occupiers ahead of a planned public launch in early 2027.

PDG secures approval for $1.5bn Southbank apartment development, The One

Local developer Harridan is seeking to turn its Woolloongabba apartment project into the first stage of a broader transformation of Burke Street, using a new 16-storey mixed-use building to establish a greener pedestrian connection toward the rapidly evolving Boggo Road transport and knowledge precinct.

The South East Queensland developer has filed plans for 154 apartments on the <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/4-burke-street-woolloongabba-qld-4102">southern side of Burke Street</a>, where its proposal has been designed alongside a wider vision by LatStudios for the street.

That vision positions the southern side of Burke Street for buildings of 15 storeys and above, while envisaging lower-rise development of up to five storeys on the northern side to transition into Woolloongabba's existing character housing. It also proposes wider pedestrian verges, deep planting, new street trees and upgrades to the pedestrian approach to Boggo Road Station.

The Harridan development itself has been designed by Brisbane-based Arqus Design and will comprise 154 apartments across 16 storeys. The mix is weighted heavily toward two-bedroom apartments, with 121 proposed alongside 10 one-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom residences. There will typically be around 14 units per floor.

A lower-ground car park and three podium levels will accommodate 156 resident parking spaces, along with visitor and commercial parking. There will also be 154 resident bicycle spaces and 40 visitor bicycle parks.

Harridan is a family-owned developer and part of the Holmwood Highgate Group, with more than three decades of development activity across South East Queensland. Its portfolio spans residential, commercial and industrial property, with current residential projects including Riverbank on Byron in Bulimba, Esperance Residences in Carina and The Precinct at Kinross Road in Thornlands.

Wooloongabba has been popular for apartment developers, particularly since the announcement of the 2032 Summer Olympics games in Brisbane.

While there have been a lot of development applications, it has failed to materialize into real supply.&nbsp;

First look: Harridan plans Burke Street transformation beside Boggo Road transport hub

Sydney’s property market is known for high prices, competitive bidding, and mounting pressure on first home buyers. But change is on the horizon.

From late 2025, eligible first home buyers in New South Wales will have access to a new federal government initiative aimed at addressing affordability: the Help to Buy Scheme.&nbsp;

<h2>What is the Help to Buy Scheme?</h2>

The program introduces a shared equity model intended to reduce the upfront cost of entering the property market, particularly in high-demand urban areas such as Sydney.

The scheme operates under a shared ownership structure in which the federal government takes an equity stake of up to 40 per cent for new homes, or 30 per cent for existing dwellings. This arrangement allows eligible buyers to significantly reduce their loan size and avoid the added cost of Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

Under this model, purchasers can enter the property market with as little as a two per cent deposit, well below the traditional 10 to 20 per cent usually required. The government’s contribution is not a loan but a co-ownership stake in the property. As such, there is no interest or rent charged on its portion.

Because the government’s equity combined with the buyer’s deposit typically meets or exceeds the 20 per cent threshold, LMI does not apply. The remaining balance, generally between 60 and 70 per cent of the property’s value, is financed through a standard home loan with a participating lender.

The government's equity in the property remains in place until the buyer chooses to repay it voluntarily or until the property is sold. Buyers can buy back the government’s share over time, in increments of at least five per cent, depending on their financial situation.

There is no fixed repayment timeline, but the amount to be repaid will be based on the property's market value at the time of repayment, not the original purchase price.

<h2>How do you qualify for the&nbsp;Help to Buy Scheme?</h2>

To qualify for the Help to Buy Scheme, applicants must meet the following conditions:

	<li>Be an Australian citizen at least 18 years of age.</li>
	<li>Be a first-home buyer who does not currently own property.</li>
	<li>Intend to live in the property as their primary residence.</li>

The NSW National Trust may draw the drapes on 10 of its historic properties for extended periods as it can’t afford to keep them open to the public.
The potential closure list includes Grossmann and Brough House in Maitland and the Yass house of Hamilton Hume, the first Australian-born explorer.
The trust's NSW chief executive, Will Holmes a Court, has suggested while the trust was a very resilient organisation, it was seriously challenged by the lack of corporate funding and the lack of government funding.
It has sent a proposal to state Heritage Minister Robyn Parker foreshadowing the move and suggesting the only way to prevent the closures was for $2 million of the $20 million given to the government-run Historic Houses Trust last financial year to be diverted to National Trust NSW.
The trust's portfolio of more than 30 properties in NSW – an asset base worth more than $100 million – is largely run by volunteers.
''It is an invidious, onerous, horrible position to have to take for the trust to even consider this. We don't do this lightly,'' Holmes a Court told Fairfax Media.
''Regional communities can't afford this sort of impact, it affects the psyche of a community.''
The National Trust began in Australia in 1945 to protect early colonial buildings along Sydney’s Macquarie Street from the threat of demolition.

Stricken NSW National Trust set to bolt the doors of several heritage properties

Entrepreneur Sean Howard has sold his rural property, Mount Falcon Station in the Upper Murray region of southern NSW, for about $6 million.
The 2,800-hectare Mount Falcon Station, which Howard has owned since 1998, has a five-bedroom 1934 homestead set in a mature garden.
The property has recently carried up to 1,350 breeding cattle.
Details of the price and buyer have not been disclosed by Sydney-based agency Meares and Associates. Chris Meares of Meares and Associates has expected to secure $6 million-plus when tenders closed in June.
The 2,790-hectare property, which runs cattle and sheep, has had three owners over most of the past century including the Falkiner family, who sold in 1964.
It changed hands again in 1998 when offloaded by the Olympic runner John Landy and his brothers, Richard and Tony.
John  Landy was the governor of Victoria from 2001 to 2006. The property is close to the junction of the Murray and Tooma rivers near Corryong.
Howard, one of the founders of OzEmail, spends his time in the retirement and aged care sector.

The 21,000-square-metre sprawling property includes two separate one-bedroom cabanas, a lagoon-style swimming pool with pool bar, tennis court and gym all against a rainforest backdrop.
Forde, now an empty-nester, plans to downsize to a location closer to the beach.

Just where Interview With the Vampire novelist Anne Rice actually resided during her time in New Orleans is subject to many proud claims.
But it was at 1239 First St, New Orleans, a Greek Revival-style mansion, where she drew inspiration for Mayfair Manor, home of the Mayfair Witches.
She sold it in 2004 at $2.6 million, and it was resold late last year at US$2.3 million.

New Orleans home reported to have belonged to Anne Rice on the market

Melbourne businessman Steve Vizard and wife Sarah have listed their St Kilda mansion, Clendore, with $8 million-plus hopes.
The three-storey Italianate Victorian terrace, with an infinity pool on the roof, was bought for $3.96 million in 2004 by Vizard's company, Fitzroy Holdings. There is a rooftop Paul Bangay-designed garden above the grand colonnaded building.
Kay &amp; Burton listing agent Alex Schiavo will take offers until November 24. It has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There is a 15-person Schindler commercial double-door lift that connects all four floors.
“It serves as a luxurious inner-city family sanctuary,” Schiavo says.

Vizard family lists St Kilda mansion Clendore with $8 million-plus hopes

The infamous ultra-modern “Pamela Anderson” house in St Kilda West that football commentator Sam Newman built has been listed with $1.5 million hopes.

Dividing locals on its merits, the large glass mural façade on noisy Canterbury Road has been a source of controversy since it was unveiled a decade ago.

The three-storey, three-bedroom house comes with a gourmet kitchen, a north-facing terrace with lap pool, a private courtyard with pond and a two-car garage.

James Scarff of Marshall White has listed the property with expressions of interest due November 15 on behalf of Ned Gestos and Nuria  Ruiperez.

“The architect-designed residence is as well known for its spacious and thoughtful floorplan as it is for its internationally renowned façade,” Scarff says.

Designed by architect Cassandra Fahey in 2000, it won a Royal Australian Institute of Architects award, making news around the world given the Baywatch beauty’s appearance on the facade.

Fahey’s idea was initially rejected when she sought permission from Port Phillip Council given the good design guide suggested windows in the front, but with the help of the council's progressive town planning head, Jim Holdsworth, she eventually secured approval for the design.

At the time Fahey suggested: "I like to think of it as for the public, it's turning a little bit of Sam's house inside out and showing them a part of it."

The former Geelong footballer Newman built the house at the height of his playboy notoriety, but never lived in before he sold for $1.1 million in mid-2002 to financial adviser Sean Patrick Taylor through a company called Canterbury Park Pty Ltd. 

It changed hands again at $1.5 million in November 2007 after a $1.4 million opening vendor's bid at its October 2007 auction. Newman paid $150,000 in 1995 for the 175-square-metre holding.

Bolivia Station, the historic rural property at Tenterfield in the New England district of northern NSW, has been listed with $3 million plus hopes.
It’s been listed by Patricia McAlary, the widow of the late Sydney barrister Frank McAlary, QC, the "dancing man" caught on film while twirling his hat in the air down a Sydney street on VP Day in 1945 at the end of World War II.
First taken up in 1840, Bolivia Station has been owned by the McAlary family for almost 40 years. It is offered with about 500 station-bred cows and about 240 heifers.
More than 20 parties have so far inspected the 2,946-hectare property, widely regarded as one of the best in the Northern Tablelands district.
Bolivia Station includes a 243-megalitre unregulated irrigation licence, two sets of cattle yards and an original homestead in need of repair.
There is also a manager's cottage, workers' cottage, shearing shed and shearers' quarters.
Tenders for the New England Highway property including the cattle close on November 10 through Ray White Rural Tenterfield agent Bruce Birch, in conjunction with Jim Ritchie of Landmark Harcourts Glen Innes.
The sale by Yurri North Pty Ltd to the Baker family in 2010 at $4.12 million was the Glen Innes shire district’s most recent big acreage transfer.

Bolivia Station in rural New England put on the market by McAlary family

A Mungindi grazier's daughter, Ann Livingston met building construction magnate John Lewis on the dance floor at Prunier's in Woollahra.
The sale fell short of Rose Bay's $18.2 million top sale, which was a newly built contemporary house when sold in 2006.
Lewis' house was listed by Ken Jacobs at Christies International in conjunction with Andrew Livingston and Brett Talbot from McGrath Estate Agents.

Smith was in London at the time of his 2006 purchase, where he had been a senior Rio Tinto executive. The 1892 mansion with 10 rooms sits on an 1,100-square-metre block. It’s was listed for auction through Barb Gregory and James Redfern at Marshall White Brighton. Gregory gave pre-auction indications the house would fetch $4.5 million plus.
Smith stepped down at the end of June this year from Newcrest after five years in which he turned around the nation's biggest gold miner and doubled its market value. Newcrest’s recent annual report revealed it’s still paying Smith until the end of the year along with a $2.25 million payment on December 31. Smith received $1 million bonus after sealing a $9.5 billion takeover by Lihir Gold last year.

Set on 5.5 hectares with rainforests, it has sold within 10 days of offers closing through Nick Dunn of Byron Bay First National in conjunction with Raine &amp; Horne agent Sophie Christou.

The living and dining area features a thatched Indonesian grassed roof ceiling. Its timbers included Kauri Pine in the kitchen, New Guinea Rosewood door and window frames, and Tasmanian blackwood in the bathrooms. There’s rosegum timber floors with jarrah and blackbutt features, coconut posts, columns and entry doors, and structural bamboo rafters.

The four-bedroom timber Edwardian house with wide return veranda sold through Marshall White agent Chris Barrett, who suggested second-storey additions would provide city views. The 1,235-square-metre property had been tipped to fetch more than $2 million. Croad retired last year following continuing problems from a foot injury. He recently returned from try-outs as a punter with the New York Jets.

In its heyday the place offered the $1,000-a-night Moog Hotel experience, which included designer pool with underwater speakers. It even laid claim to the most expensive cocktail in Sydney – the Amex Noir at $2,003. The property was initially listed with $8 million expectations by Simon and Susanah Page in 2005. Its mid-week auctioneer Damien Cooley suggested there were four or five interested bidding parties but passed in on a $3.8 million vendor bid.

It’s been listed for November 10 auction through Matthew Anstee at Raine &amp; Horne Bowral. It’s being sold by the prominent pioneer Badgery family, who have owned the property since the 1860s. It’s the largest land offering on the market at the moment. It has capacity for up to 600 head of cattle.
Located on Wombeyan Caves Road in High Range, Wanganderry is 20 minutes from Bowral. Anstee says about $8.5 million is expected, representing around $3,900 per acre compared with the area's average $9,000. The estate is being offered for sale as whole, but was also available in two smaller parcels – the 550-hectare Wanganderry North subdivision, and the 347-hectare Wanganderry South subdivision. However, if a buyer cannot be found, Wanganderry will be divided and sold by Raine &amp; Horne Bowral as a series of 21 hundred-acre lots.

He and his wife, Claudia, sold their Manly residence (pictured above) for $3.83 million last October with unimplemented plans to buy closer to Dale's team headquarters at Blacktown. The Bower Street, Manly house, which sold through Steve Thomas at Belle Property Manly, had been transformed from its previous Californian bungalow-style appearance after the 720-square-metre leasehold property cost $2.3 million in 2007. Title Tattle understands the Holmes family have stayed in Manly – in part because of the family’s schooling requirements –but have been renting since the sale.

Not a home that grabs everyone from the street, but a home that does it for me in 2011.
The flow works from the start – e.g. in from a good-sized garage through a drop-off-stuff room and wet area to wash up in. Or in through the front door and turn right into your office and if you have a business associate the toilet is nearby without intruding into the home.
When into the main living areas they unfold one after another but all have views to the outside – it's nicely stepped back in design. Out the back the garden is a great size  not sure about what the northerly neighbour is doing and that is an issue that needs investigation but overall the outsides are good.
Upstairs works and the kids are “winged off’ around a central bathroom and the master to the rear is substantial.
Price is the key to this home – it's definitely a $3 million-plus home with the land, but I’m not sure what the second numeral in the dollar equation will end up being.
James Buyer Advocates gives this property a rating of 779 out of 1,000, which puts it in the above-average category. 
The property was passed in on a vendor bid of $3.35 million, with the reserve undisclosed.

A good flow in Brighton should secure more than $3 million

Offshore investor activity has helped drive strong revenue growth in CBRE’s Asia-Pacific and Pacific regions, with demand for Australian commercial assets particurlarly strong, according to third-quarter global figures for the period ending September 30, 2011. 
Across Asia Pacific, revenues increased by 24% relative to the corresponding period in 2010, with CBRE noting “strong growth in Australia/New Zealand, China, India and Japan”. 
In the Pacific, third-quarter revenues were 29% ahead of the third-quarter of 2010 on a US dollar basis. 
Globally, CBRE revenue for the quarter totalled US$1.5 billion, an increase of 21% from US$1.3 billion in the third quarter of 2010. 
Commenting on the strong performance in the Pacific region, Tom Southern, president and chief executive of CBRE Australia and New Zealand, said the level of investor activity had been “noteworthy” coming despite the ongoing volatility in overseas financial markets. 
“Foreign buyers have led the charge, with offshore investment in the Australian commercial property market reaching a two-decade high in the third quarter. 
“Our data shows offshore-based institutions and private investors accounted for 41% of the $2.49 billion in commercial sales (individual transactions of at least $20 million) in the third quarter – well above the long-term average. 
“The relatively high yields available in Australia, combined with the relatively low economic risks, are underpinning buyer interest, with yields here having shown very little compression compared to what’s been experienced in other gateway cities around the world.” 
Southern said private investors and institutions from Singapore have been the most active purchasers. 
A highlight of the offshore deals negotiated by CBRE was the $395 million sale of 259 George Street, Sydney, to Memocorp. 
“In the third quarter we also saw the long-awaited emergence of mainland Chinese investors and a number of US-based groups are also reviewing opportunities in the region following the 20 Martin Place, Sydney sale to Pembroke Real Estate [a deal also negotiated through CBRE],” he added.
During the third quarter, CBRE also negotiated a new 12-year, 28,000-square-metre lease for Deloitte at Grosvenor Place in Sydney.
Overall, Southern says the most significant commercial investment and leasing activity has been occurring in the resource- and mining-driven centres of Queensland and Western Australia, where CBRE negotiated some significant sales and leasing transactions, including representing Ernst and Young and Rio Tinto in some of the city’s largest lease transactions for 2011.
Retail leasing was dominated by offshore retailers like Topshop and Zara seeking opportunities, with Southern adding “extremely weak retail trading conditions in Europe and the US, particularly in relation to luxury and fashion items” was driving retailers to consider “previously untapped markets where they can maximise their returns by offering a point of difference”.

Globally, CBRE property sales rose 23% for the quarter, driven by exceptionally strong growth in the Americas (up 42%).
Commercial mortgage brokerage revenue rose 32%. For the quarter, global mortgage activity (loan originations and sales) improved 52% from a year ago to approximately $5.8 billion.
Property leasing revenue was also up strongly, rising 19% globally for the quarter.
