There are just the six houses on what's become known around the world as Ramsay Street, Erinsborough.

And despite all the comings and goings of the residents on the television show, only four of the six at the Vermont South setting have actually been sold over the past 30 years during which the internationally broadcast series, Neighbours has been broadcast.

Two of the four sold on the tightly held Pin Oak Court cul de sac have been bought by an expatriate Neighbours fanatic living in the UK who most recently paid $867,000 in early 2013 to secure his second 'Ramsay Street' house.

Andrew Whitney, who directs a private jet and helicopter charter flight company in the UK, outbid seven for the Pin Oak Court, Vermont South offering.

Also known as 30 Ramsay Street, the home of Jarrod 'Toadie' Rebecchi, it was offered through <a href="https://www.barryplant.com.au/property.cfm?propertyID=2272561" target="_blank">Barry Plant Real Estate</a>.

The former Blackburn North resident bought another Pin Oak Court house 17 years ago before moving to the UK for $238,000.

Mr Whitney once told the Herald Sun that he knows the street better than anyone.

"I record every episode of Neighbours," he said.

It was sold by the downsizing vendor Faye Pierce, with the buyer able to join the other court residents who are paid a substantial annual fee by the show's producers in agreeing to avoid changes to their facades without consultation and allowing external regular filming. It has been reported that even a letterbox change could be catastrophic for continuity.

Marketed as the 'Neighbours House' at 3 Pin Oak Court, the property's marketing won a 2013 real estate marketing award for the Barry Plant Monash Group.

It was advertised as "Your chance to own a piece of Australian television history!"

The most traded on the street sold at $126,000 in 1984, just before the show began; then in 1999 at $312,580 and then in 2007 at $630,000.

The home of the Robinson family, where much of the early action in the soap took place, is number 6.

The original characters included plumber Max Ramsay (Francis Bell), after whose family the street was named, his migrant wife Maria (Dasha Blahova) and their sons Shane (Peter O'Brien) and Danny (David Clencie).

Widower Jim Robinson (Alan Dale) lived next door with his kids, Paul (Stefan Dennis), Julie (Vikki Blanche), Scott (Darius Perkins/later Jason Donovan) and Lucy (Kylie Flinker), and mother-in-law Helen Daniels (Anne Haddy).

It was launched by the Seven Network on March 18, 1985, but struggled for four months before cancellation, only to be reborn at Channel Ten to then become Australia's longest-running prime time soap, and the second longest in the world behind Britain's Coronation Street.

Neighbours was repackaged debuting on Ten in January 1986 with huge credit to Ten's director of publicity, Brian Walsh, who toured the cast across shopping centres, generating unprecedented interest in afternoon newspapers, with the likes of The Daily Mirror's David Brown securing regular front page exclusives on the latest for Scott and Charlene (Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue), which television critic Michael Idato once described as one of Australian television's iconic romances, on and off screen.

One story line through the years was changing the name of the street to Ramsbottom Street. Harold Bishop led a protest against the name change and won.

The median price currently listed by <a href="/news">CoreLogic RP Data</a> for houses in Vermont South is $815,000. Back in the mid-1980s it was around $119,000.

Not much movement among Neighbours on Pin Oak Court as Ramsay Street celebrates 30 years

Advertising industry veteran Harold Mitchell intends to sell up to 49% of his cattle station empire in Western Australia.
The aim is to boost the business from 45,000 head to 85,000 head.
"That is probably a little too hard to do all by myself," he told the Australian Financial Review.
He has appointed KPMG and ANZ to handle the transaction.
Mitchell intends on maintaining a majority share and management.
Expectations for the sale are put at about $40 million.
The business owns 850,000 freehold hectares and leases another 560,000 hectares in Western Australia's East Kimberley.
Harold Mitchell initially bought into the cattle station business via Yougawalla Pastoral Company in 2008.
New CoreLogic RP Data analysis shows $13.72 billion buying rural properties in Australia in the 12 months to November. There were 25,000 farm sales over the year, according to the report prepared for Harcourts Landmark.
NSW had $6.27 billion in transactions of which about $210 million worth were for farms bigger than 2,000 hectares. There were 10,600 rural sales in NSW over the year.
With 1,500 farm sales, Queensland has $1.3 billion worth of sales of which $494 million were of farms bigger than 2,000 hectares.
In Victoria $3.02 billion in rural transactions was recorded, the second busiest state with 7,400 farm sales.
Western Australia achieved $1.6 billion in sales and South Australia $825 million. There were 2,600 sales in WA and 1,600 in SA.
In Tasmania there were $462 million in transactions with only one sale of a property larger than 2,000 hectares, worth $2.35 million. All up Tasmania had 1,400 rural sales.
The Northern Territory had $246 million in sales, with six of more than 2,000 hectares, worth $53 million in total across the 435 sales.

Around 25,000 annual farm sales as Harold Mitchell to sell 49% of his WA cattle empire

Hendra, the 1930s Mt Eliza home once owned by the Coles family has found a new owner, Brighton East resident Min Zhang, wife of Jianping Fu.
The heritage-listed 1.7 hectare holding was built by Sir Edgar and Dame Mabel Coles, who had commissioned the architect Harry A. Norris.
<a href="/news/vic/hendra-the-former-coles-retailing-family-mt-eliza-trophy-home-listing">It was listed mid-2013</a> with price expectations of $8 million, selling recently at $7.25 million, Property Observer has gleaned. It sold last October, but settled only last week.
Property developer Greg Farmer bought the 11 Williams Road property in 2006 for $4,825,000 before undertaking a major renovation.
It was sold by agent Michelle Skogland of Aqua Real Estate Mt Eliza in conjunction with Kay &amp; Burton Brighton's Ian Jackson and Andrew Hines were co-agents.
The first George Coles landed in Australia in October 1853, heading for the goldfields. Coles set up the first store in a tent at Daylesford. Later, he began at shop at Diapur.
The real beginning of G.J. Coles and Co. Ltd. took place in 1919, when a new Smith Street store opened as a "nothing over 2/6" store."
There had been a 1994 subdivision of Hendra which saw blocks within the 27 hectares available at prices ranging from $220,000 to $295,000.

All six lots sold in excess of the reserve prices at the Sunday 15 March auction. 
The first was lot 401, a 787 square metre lot with a 17.5 metre frontage that sold at $2,575,000.  
Lot 208, the second of the day, a 787 square metre lot, sold for $2,651,000.

One of the successful local bidders mentioned that they had been watching the Breen Property land development for many years and this had been a dream come true for them.
Tom Breen, the executive chairman of Breen Property, said the offering was the culmination of decades of planning, obtaining government approvals for their former sand mine.

Beach building blocks at $2.2 million plus - sellout at Shearwater Landing, Greenhills Beach auction

The Sunday Telegraph has revealed that NSW Fair Trading has accused the BresicWhitney agency of advertising two auction properties — in Double Bay and in Surry Hill — at prices below estimates that were given to sellers in written agreements.
The agency only learnt of the court action on Friday night and was yet to decide whether it would defend the claims, but accepts it needs to ensure future compliance.
The consumer watchdog will reveal its case in the Parramatta Local Court later this month.
The more serious price discrepancy alleged was at Double Bay, where the publicly published price guidance reputedly did not match the private agency agreement documentation in the office paperwork.
The Murilla apartment at <a href="https://www.bresicwhitney.com.au/buy/543-545-new-south-head-road-double-bay-9956" target="_blank">62/543-545 New South Head Road</a> had a reported price guide of over $1.5 million last November, but Fair Trading investigations revealed the selling price estimate in the agency agreement at the low end of $1.6 million.
The late 1950s, A.M. Bolot-designed, company title apartment (below) was reported in the Wentworth Courier as sold for $1.79 million (and at $1.76 million by the Sunday Telegraph) through agent Walter Burfitt-Williams. The three bedroom sub-penthouse had 176 square metres space in the eight storey block above Redleaf Pool at the corner of New South Head and Victoria roads. The previous time it was marketed for sale was in 1989.

When contacted by The Sunday Telegraph cost of living editor, John Rolfe, before its front page splash, Walter Burfitt-Williams said: “The owner gave us instructions.”
At Surry Hills an 1890s terrace house at <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-nsw-surry+hills-118276043" target="_blank">14 Collins Street</a> was advertised last November with a price guide of over $1.05 million, but the estimate in the agency agreement was $1.1 to $1.2 million. The guidance was lifted from $1,025,000 during the marketing campaign.
The two bedroom terrace (below) actually sold for $1.07 million through Nic Krasnostein, so it appears, with benefit of hindsight, he may have been overly ambitious in his pitch to the vendor. It sold to an investor who sought to rent it out at $850 a week. It had previously sold at $610,000 in 2005.

The prosecutions are the third in a decade.
“We believe we’ve found evidence to prove the agent has under quoted,” Commissioner Rod Stowe told The Sunday Telegraph who published a Warren cartoon too.

Operation Balaya, an investigation specifically developed to look at real estate compliance, was launched on agencies operating in the inner-city.
 Officers were also checking licences, certificates, current continuing professional development, professional indemnity insurance and current and past financial year qualified audits.
“During its inspections, NSW Fair Trading identified certain information that requires further investigation to establish whether or not representations made by a real estate agency in relation to a number of recent sales were misleading,” the Minister for Fair Trading Matthew Mason-Cox said.
“Agents who engaged in this illegal practice could face a maximum penalty of $22,000 or depending on the severity of the breaches an agency could have its license cancelled.”
The NSW Premier Mike Baird recently elevated the issue into an election policy.

NSW estate agents were reminded last weekend that they must tell buyers the same price guidance estimate they have given to their vendors.
Depending on the success of his re-election, Baird has vowed to crackdown on price underquoting… and overquoting too.

Property Observer gleans the genesis of the policy was when the Mason‐Cox was quoted a price on a Sydney unit, only for him to discover it sold for 25% more a few days later. 
There has, however, not been a fine on an agent for underquoting since 2004 when an agent was fined more than $14,000 by NSW Fair Trading. In 2008 another agent was disqualified from holding a licence for five years for underquoting, The Daily Telegraph reported.

"The practice of underquoting has to end."

NSW Fair Trading prosecutes Double Bay and Surry Hills auction price underquoting allegations

Even young first time investors are getting mum's money to secure their property purchases.
It was the case today when the one-bedroom house at 7 Little Bloomfield Street, Surry Hills, was bought by a first home buyer, with help from his mother.
Agent Marc Marano of Oxford Agency secured $840,000 for the single-storey worker's cottage at auction. 
It was marketed as a "diamond in the rough".

Investor Doi Kim, 25, and his mother, Gina Lim will renovate before renting it out after paying $140,000 over the reserve, Fairfax Media reported.
The unrenovated, 63 square metre terrace had been in the same family about five decades.
The trend of traditional first time buyers investing instead as their first property purchase has been escalating in recent times.
Mortgage Choice has noticed a marked alternate trend of first time investor buying by the traditional first home buyer. 
"More and more are buying investments as their first time buy," Michael Russell, the Mortgage Choice chief executive said recently.
Their recent survey showed there were 21% of its first time buyers borrowing for an investment property rather than a home to live in.
Surry Hills' median house price sits at <a href="/news">around $1.26 million</a>, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
There was an $840,000 median back in 2010.

The auction battle for 3-5 Fourth Street, Black Rock highlighted the escalating buyer intensity along the Melbourne sand belt and inner east suburbs today.
It fetched $1,010,000 over its reserve price setting a new $3.81 million record for a residential property in the suburb. 
"The previous highest that we could find being $3,775,000 for a contemporary home with pool and tennis court on around 1650sqm of land in May 2010," <a href="https://www.jacobsba.com.au" target="_blank">said buyers agent Nicole Jacobs</a>. Bidding began at $2,450,000, swiftly going past $2,800,000 when it was announced on the market (below) at the Marshall White auction.

Once the $3,000,000 barrier was exceeded the increments started to decrease but the pace of bids didn’t, Jacabs noted as at $3,060,000 a third bidder joined the fray.

Black Rock $3.81 million auction record, while Malvern makes clean sweep

Sydney auctions stayed above 80% for the sixth consecutive weekend.
There was an 84% preliminary success rate at auction today, according to Australian Property Monitors.
Last weekend's revised figure was 81%.
A Kent Road, Rose Bay house (pictured above) at $6.5 million was the top notified sale amid the 525 results.
It was the first time it had been offered in 25 years when it sold through Hamish Robertson and Joe Aboud at McGrath Estate Agents.
The 22 Kent Road house had been updated by John Crawford in 1970s, then Michael Suttor in the early 1990s.
The Domain Group's senior economist Andrew Wilson described the weekend results as "Sydney's unstoppable auction market".
The Sydney market with 628 auctions scheduled was similar to the 625 conducted over the same weekend last year.
The most popular Sydney suburb for auctions this weekend is Surry Hills with 13 followed by Mosman 12, Maroubra and Epping each with 9, Drummoyne and Yagoona 7 each and Chatswood, Redfern, Baulkham Hills and Alexandria each with 6 auctions listed this weekend.
Auction listings will continue to rise with the pre-Easter Super Saturday of auctions now looming for the 28 March election day.
Well over 1,000 auctions are likely that day which might go close to challenge the all-time Saturday record of 1,111 set over the same weekend last year under threat. 
"Big auction numbers however are likely to continue to be a snack for a ravenous Sydney home buying public," Wilson suggested.

Ravenous Sydney buyers keep auctions above 80% for sixth consecutive weekend

Consecutive Victorian governments have done nothing about real estate underquoting over the last decade, Miriam Sandkuhler, founder of buyer's agency Property Mavens says.
"The newly elected Victorian government is still mute in regards to this ongoing problem in Victoria," she told Fairfax Media.
"It seems the financial and indirect marketing support the Labor government received from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria during the election campaign last year has rendered it deaf and blind to the problem," she claimed noting the NSW Premier recently pledged a crackdown on rogue real estate agents.
"Underquoting is a bipartisan issue as it affects all consumers.
"Both sides of politics need to work together to develop a solution to this problem.
She claimed rogue agents who breached regulations often do so because they have an "exceptionally high chance" of getting away with illegal activity simply because Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) doesn't have adequate skilled staffing to police it or a satisfactory complaint handling process. 
"Given this and the 30,000-plus auctions held in Victoria every year, the onus of investigation, policing and enforcement needs to be removed from CAV and handed to an independent body in the form of a real estate ombudsman."

The Commonwealth Bank chief Ian Narev and his wife Frances Allan have snappily sold their Paddington terrace, well ahead of its scheduled 31 March auction.
It sold mid-week at around $2.85 million, just a week into its McGrath marketing campaign.

It typically takes around 42 days and at an 8% discount to secure a Paddington terrace sale.
The 230 square metre double fronted home on a 139 square metre block had been tipped to fetch $2.9 million plus after renovations, including a new kitchen.

The couple purchased it for $2.26 million in 2008.

CBA boss Ian Narev sells weeks before auction in realistic Paddington market

A trio of Queensland property groups have unveiled plans for a $300 million mixed-use redevelopment of the former Noosa Bowls Club site, a proposal that would deliver more than 200 new homes in one of the Sunshine Coast's most supply-constrained markets.

Kilter Property, Frank Developments and Calile Malouf Investments are behind the plans for the 1.8-hectare site at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/99-noosa-drive-noosa-heads-qld-4567">99 Noosa Drive</a>, which would transform the long-vacant site into a new residential precinct featuring 208 apartments, retail, hospitality and public space.

The proposal comes as Noosa continues to grapple with housing affordability and a shortage of permanent accommodation, particularly for key workers. The site's location in Noosa Junction, close to shops, public transport and employment, aligns with the direction of Noosa Council's Housing Strategy, which encourages higher-density housing within established activity centres rather than continued urban expansion.

The draft plans include 48 affordable-by-design apartments and 48 rooming accommodation units aimed at key workers. Around 2,000 sqm of ground-floor retail and food and beverage space would activate the street frontage, alongside a new public town square and landscaped open space.

Calile Malouf Investments, best known for its role in Brisbane's James Street precinct and The Calile Hotel, will bring its place-making experience to the project. The company recently commenced construction on The Calile Noosa hotel and says the residential development will complement its growing investment in the region.

CMI Director Cal Malouf said the aim was to create a walkable precinct combining housing, retail and hospitality while remaining true to Noosa's character.

"We see a similar opportunity in Noosa to deliver a vibrant, walkable destination that combines exceptional housing, hospitality and retail in one integrated project," Malouf said.

Brisbane-based Cavill Architects has been appointed to design the project.

Noosa Bowls Club to be redeveloped into mixed-use apartment precinct

One of Brisbane's last major riverfront redevelopment opportunities has taken a significant step forward, with Lendlease selected as the Queensland Government's preferred development partner for the former Visy site in South Brisbane.

The seven-hectare industrial site, positioned between South Bank and West End and 1.3 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, will be transformed into a mixed-use precinct expected to deliver more than 4,000 new homes alongside extensive public open space and riverfront parkland.

The project is one of the largest urban renewal opportunities currently planned in Brisbane and is expected to play a key role in accommodating the city's growing population ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Plans for the precinct include a network of riverfront promenades and boardwalks, new public plazas, parkland, amphitheatre-style gathering spaces and shared pedestrian and cycling links designed to reconnect the long-isolated site with the Brisbane River.

The Queensland Government is targeting delivery of the first homes and key public spaces before the 2032 Games, allowing the precinct to begin contributing new housing and public amenity well before the broader masterplan is complete.

The redevelopment is also expected to support more than 3,000 jobs across planning, construction and ongoing operations.

For Lendlease, the appointment adds another major urban regeneration project to its Queensland portfolio. The developer has operated in the state for more than 70 years and has delivered a number of large-scale mixed-use precincts in partnership with government.

Lendlease Development CEO Claire Johnston said the project represented one of Brisbane's most significant redevelopment opportunities.

"The transformation of the former Visy site represents a rare opportunity to reimagine one of Brisbane's most significant riverfront locations, deliver thousands of much-needed homes, and create long-term legacy," Johnston said.

"In partnership with the Queensland Government, we have the opportunity to create a new riverside destination that will help shape Brisbane's growth and how people experience the city for decades to come.

"This is exactly the type of large-scale, city-shaping development that will provide lasting benefits for Queensland, bringing together housing, jobs and world-class public spaces."

Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jarrod Bleijie said the riverfront transformation would deliver a thriving new community precinct.

“The Crisafulli Government is delivering this golden opportunity to unlock a riverfront jewel for all Queenslanders,” Deputy Premier Bleijie said.

“This is a once-in-a-generation moment to reshape a significant slice of Brisbane and deliver lasting benefits – thousands of new homes, and public spaces for all Queenslanders to enjoy well beyond the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games – unlike Labor’s plan which would have delivered zero benefits and zero new homes.

“Queensland is well and truly open for business and through partnership with the private sector, we are accelerating delivery while ensuring strong housing, community and economic outcomes."

Early works on the precinct are expected to commence in April 2027.

Lendlease selected to deliver transformative South Brisbane riverfront precinct

Eddy Haddad's <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/level-33">Level 33</a> is levelling up its approved Wollongong development, as the coastal city south of Sydney continues to prove popular in the high-density development space.

Level 33, a longtime developer in the Wollongong area, has gone through the NSW Government's Housing Delivery Authority to upsize its approved two-tower development on the corner of Crown Street and Gladstone Avenue, just 100 metres from Wollongong Station.

The developer currently has approval for 252 apartments across two buildings rising to 19 storeys. It is now seeking approval for 33 and 38-storey towers that would deliver 467 apartments, including 67 affordable homes.

Designed by <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/architects/bka-architecture">BKA Architecture</a>, the development would comprise apartments above a three-level podium with around 1,100 sqm of retail space, along with basement parking for 448 vehicles.

According to the Urban Design Report by BKA, the proposal has the capacity to "reinforce the precinct's identity by strengthening links between health, education, and transport services, while also contributing to Wollongong's ongoing evolution as a key regional centre."

Wollongong is somewhat in vogue. Between Level 33 and Urban Property Group, the two developers have several thousand apartments planned across the city.

Level 33 is currently delivering Easterly Wollongong, one of its most boutique projects to date with just 21 high-end apartments, as well as Atchison &amp; Kenny, a 329-apartment development due for completion later this year.

The developer plans to redevelop the 13,088 sqm WIN Grand megasite into <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/crown-square-216-238-keira-street-wollongong-nsw-2500">Crown Square</a>, a new $500 million precinct with nearly 600 apartments. It also has more than 900 apartments planned for the former Bunnings Warehouse site at the intersection of Gipps and Flinders streets.

Urban Property Group is also playing a major role in the city's transformation. Its five-tower Keira Place precinct will deliver more than 800 homes, and it has recently lodged plans for a further 300 apartments near Wollongong Station.

First look: Level 33 upsizes Wollongong apartment towers

Just a week after filing plans for the final stage of its major Keira Place masterplan, <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/urban-property-group">Urban Property Group</a> has unveiled another significant housing proposal in Wollongong, this time targeting a prominent site opposite North Wollongong Station.

The developer has lodged a State Significant Development Application for a 38-storey mixed-use tower at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/4-4a-flinders-street-north-wollongong-nsw-2500">4-4A Flinders Street</a>, around one kilometre north of the <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/keira-place-wollongong-120-122-smith-street-wollongong-nsw-2500">Keira Place precinct</a> currently taking shape on the edge of the CBD.

Designed by Studio.SC, the proposal comprises a 38-storey mixed-use development containing 303 apartments, including 45 affordable housing units, alongside 174 co-living residences. The scheme also includes ground-floor retail space, extensive landscaping and public domain improvements.

Studio.SC noted in the proposal it "outlines a vision for a landmark transit-oriented mixed-use development centred around North Wollongong Station, designed to support the city’s future growth while responding to the NSW Government’s housing and planning reforms."

The architecture firm said the proposal responds to the opportunities and constraints shaping future growth within the 400-metre catchment of the station and represents "a coordinated and future-focused approach to urban intensification, contributing to the long-term evolution of North Wollongong as a connected, walkable and high-density station precinct."

The site occupies a strategic corner bounded by Flinders Street, Station Street, Stafford Street and the Princes Highway, directly opposite North Wollongong Station.

The proposal follows Urban Property Group's recent submission for the second and final stage of Keira Place, which would deliver a further three buildings comprising 657 homes opposite Beaton Park. It builds on the first stage, which features 150 apartments across two towers and recently commenced construction.

Urban Property Group CEO Patrick Elias said breaking ground on the first stage marked a significant milestone for Wollongong and reflected the developer's long-term commitment to regional cities.

"Today's groundbreaking is about turning approvals into homes and moving quickly to deliver much-needed housing in Wollongong's city centre," Elias said.

"Keira Place will provide a diverse mix of homes close to jobs, transport and services, while setting a high benchmark for quality, durability and consumer protection."

First look: Urban Property Group plans next major Wollongong tower

<a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/arada">Arada Australia</a> has wasted little time expanding its ambitions in Campsie, lodging plans for a second major project in the rapidly transforming town centre just months after unveiling its three-tower One Campsie proposal on Beamish Street.

The UAE-backed developer has now taken aim at one of the suburb’s most strategically positioned sites, filing a State Significant Development Application for a <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/10-north-parade-campsie-nsw-2194">33-storey mixed-use tower</a> at 10 London Street and 43 North Parade, directly opposite the future Campsie Metro Station. The proposal is currently on public exhibition and represents another significant vote of confidence in Campsie's emergence as one of Sydney’s key transit-oriented growth centres.

Designed by <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/architects/woods-bagot">Woods Bagot</a>, the development would deliver 156 apartments above a podium containing retail and commercial space, creating a new residential and commercial gateway to the town centre. The scheme also includes a four-level above-ground parking podium and a dedicated residential amenity floor featuring wellness and recreation facilities. At least 10 per cent of the apartments would be allocated as affordable housing for a period of 10 years.

The proposal occupies a 1,631 sqm site bounded by London Street, North Parade and Dispensary Lane, immediately adjoining the future Metro station precinct and just metres from Beamish Street’s retail and dining strip. According to the Urban Design Report, the project seeks to deliver "a great place that prioritises human-scaled experience and provides spatial improvements to the area."

Woods Bagot describes the tower as a key marker within Campsie's next phase of growth.

"Located directly opposite the new Campsie Metro Station on North Parade, 10 London Street is a thoughtfully composed 33-storey mixed-use tower that contributes to the ongoing transformation of the town centre," the Architectural Design Report states. The report says the project is intended to provide "high-quality homes within a vibrant, connected urban environment, while helping define Campsie's future skyline."

A strong emphasis has been placed on the public realm. The ground floor incorporates over 500 sqm of retail space and active frontages along both London Street and North Parade, while the podium is wrapped by extensive landscaped planting intended to soften the building's scale and strengthen the pedestrian experience. The development would also widen surrounding footpaths and improve connections between the Metro station and the broader town centre.

Above the podium, residents would have access to more than 1,400 sqm of communal amenities, including a pool, gym and landscaped recreation spaces. A distinctive green-wall treatment extending across four podium levels forms a major architectural feature, helping differentiate the project within the emerging high-density precinct.

The tower's design is closely tied to the broader Campsie Town Centre Master Plan and the arrival of Sydney Metro. The Urban Design Report notes the proposal "directly supports the Campsie Town Centre Master Plan by delivering new homes in a location explicitly identified for growth, improved accessibility, and high-quality urban renewal." It adds that the project contributes to the master plan's vision for a strengthened town centre supported by thousands of new homes around the future Metro station.

The application follows Arada Australia's recently lodged One Campsie project at 124–142 Beamish Street and 16–18 Ninth Avenue, where the developer is seeking approval for 346 apartments across three towers rising 24, 32 and 39 storeys. Together, the two proposals would cement Arada Australia as one of the most influential developers shaping Campsie's future urban form.

Arada Australia entered the Australian market in 2024 and has rapidly assembled a significant development pipeline across Sydney. Alongside its Campsie holdings, the developer is soon to launch <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/wattle-green-2-fishburn-crescent-castle-hill-nsw-2154">Wattle Green</a> in Castle Hill, and has expanded its local operations following its acquisition of construction firm Roberts &amp; Co.

Located around 14 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD, the site sits at the centre of one of Sydney's fastest-changing middle-ring precincts. The Metro conversion of Campsie Station, combined with Canterbury-Bankstown Council's master planning framework, is driving significant residential intensification around Beamish Street and North Parade, with thousands of new homes expected over coming decades.
