Queensland builder-developer MAYD has revealed the first look at its major North Kirra beachfront development, lodging amended plans that reduce the number of apartments and increase the proportion of larger residences.

The project is planned across a substantial 4,742 sqm amalgamated site spanning seven lots at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/2-6-pacific-parade-bilinga-qld-4225">2-6 Pacific Parade</a> and 27-33 Golden Four Drive in Bilin​ga, directly opposite Nor​th Kirra Beach.

<a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/mayd-group">MAYD</a> secured the site for $32.5 million in 2025, in what was one of the Gold Coast's largest property transactions of the year.

The development will be delivered across two stages, with the first stage carrying an estimated gross realisation value of around $360 million.

The latest amendments seek to reduce the overall apartment count and shift the project further toward the owner-occupier market, with larger residences designed for buyers wanting considerably more space than traditionally offered in a beachfront apartment.

The residential mix will include townhomes, oversized two-bedroom apartments, substantial three-bedroom residences and four-bedroom homes.

MAYD has appointed Cera Stribley to lead the architecture and interiors, with the Melbourne-based design practice drawing on the beachfront setting through a series of ocean-facing terraces and heavily landscaped balconies.

Strong horizontal forms and curved balconies will define the exterior, with subtropical landscaping integrated throughout the building to soften the built form and increase the connection between the residences and the beachfront.

The project will also include an extensive collection of resident wellness and lifestyle facilities, continuing the broader shift across the Gold Coast's luxury apartment market toward larger homes supported by resort-style amenity.

MAYD Founder Todd Mould said North Kirra was increasingly appealing to buyers attracted to the more established, lower-density character of the southern Gold Coast.

"North Kirra presents one of the most compelling luxury residential opportunities currently emerging in Australia, combining absolute beachfront with the character and authenticity that buyers are increasingly seeking, and the same sense of tight-knit community that defined Burleigh and Currumbin perhaps 10 or 15 years ago," Mould said.

"With Gold Coast Airport on its doorstep, it also offers a level of accessibility that broadens its appeal across almost every market demographic."

The project comes as the southern Gold Coast continues to attract an increasing share of high-end apartment development and buyer activity.

Kirra in particular has emerged as one of the region's more tightly held beachfront markets, with its relatively low-density character, established surf and hospitality scene and proximity to Gold Coast Airport differentiating it from the higher-density markets further north.

Mould said those characteristics had informed the approach MAYD and Cera Stribley had taken to the project.

"We've worked closely with Cera Stribley to create a vision that is deeply connected to its surroundings," he said.

"Inspired by the coastline itself, the architecture has been shaped around space, privacy and resort-style living, creating a collection of homes that reflects the next generation of luxury on the southern Gold Coast."

MOTIV Managing Director Carly Cottam, who has been appointed to market the project, said buyer attention had continued to move south along the Gold Coast.

"Purchasers who may once have defaulted to Broadbeach, Main Beach or Surfers Paradise are increasingly recognising the value of a genuine beachfront location that offers lower density, strong amenity and a more established sense of community," Cottam said.

"Kirra has a powerful combination of growing demand and genuine scarcity. Beachfront supply is inherently constrained, the area remains relatively low density, and buyers are increasingly placing a premium on locations that feel established, uncrowded and authentic rather than heavily developed."

Cottam said the proximity to Gold Coast Airport was also proving increasingly important for interstate and second-home buyers.

"Being minutes from Gold Coast Airport makes it particularly compelling for interstate buyers, frequent travellers and second-home purchasers who can access an authentic coastal lifestyle almost immediately after stepping off a flight."

The acquisition takes MAYD's active development portfolio to more than $500 million, with the North Kirra project representing one of its largest undertakings to date.

Castle Hill, the longtime hub of the Hills District, has been one of the major beneficiaries of Sydney's Metro expansion, with improved connectivity helping drive continued population growth, development and buyer demand across the Hills District.

But despite that growth, the suburb has seen relatively few major new apartment projects brought to market over the past 18 months.

The project will comprise three residential towers alongside a hotel, restaurants, cafes and a skybar, more than 1,600 sqm of ground-floor retail and almost an acre of landscaped gardens.

It represents the largest project undertaken by Reve Group, the development arm of the Kassis family, which has been building across the Hills District for more than 30 years through Kassis Homes.

Nova Rêve also represents a significant step up from the family's first apartment development, Grand Rêve, which was delivered nearby on Garthowen Crescent.

Grand Rêve introduced larger, house-like apartment layouts and premium inclusions including Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances to the Castle Hill market.

Nova Rêve takes that approach to a precinct scale, combining the residential component with hospitality, retail and substantial public and resident landscaping.

Reve Group Managing Director Sam Kassis said the project reflected the family's three decades of building in the Hills, which has evolved from trophy homes on quarter-acre blocks to larger-scale apartment development.

"Grand Rêve was our first apartment project here and it showed us what this pocket of Castle Hill could be. Nova Rêve is the refinement of that idea: not just apartments, but a place the whole suburb can use," Kassis said.

A key part of that approach is the hotel, which has been designed to operate as an amenity for the wider Castle Hill community rather than solely hotel guests.

It will include restaurants, cafes, skybars and all-day dining, alongside conference and event facilities catering to business functions, community groups and private events.

At ground level, more than 1,600 sqm of shops and cafes will open onto the surrounding streets and landscaped areas.

Almost an acre of gardens designed by Land and Form Studios will run through the precinct, incorporating pathways, seating, barbecue areas and children's play spaces.

Reve Group's Romio Georges said creating an active ground plane had been central to the planning of Nova Rêve.

"There are gardens with pathways, barbecues, seating and play areas, shops and cafes opening onto the street, and a hotel with restaurants and a skybar that anyone in Castle Hill can walk into," Georges said.

The project's elevated position on one of Sydney's highest ridgelines will also provide apartments with outlooks toward the Sydney skyline, surrounding parkland and the Blue Mountains.

More than 80 per cent of the apartments will occupy corner positions, with Turner responsible for both the architecture and interiors.

Maréa Residences brings parkside apartments to Coolangatta

Melbourne developer PDG has secured Victorian Government approval for its $1.5 billion Southbank development <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/the-one-1-queens-bridge-street-southbank-vic-3006">The One</a>, clearing the way for the long-dormant riverfront site opposite Crown to finally be developed.

The Minister for Planning has approved the project at 1-29 Queens Bridge Street, with the Department of Transport and Planning issuing the planning permit following its assessment.

The approval will allow PDG to develop the prominent 5,059 sqm site with a major mixed-use tower comprising premium apartments, including branded residences, a luxury hotel and boutique office space.

PDG acquired the site in late 2024, with its position directly opposite Crown's main entrance and near Melbourne's Arts Precinct making it one of Southbank's most significant remaining development opportunities.

Designed by COX in collaboration with ODO and PDG, the tower's architecture draws on the movement of the Yarra River, with six vertical pleats running the height of the sculpted facade.

The project will also see the heritage-listed Queens Bridge Hotel restored and incorporated into the development&nbsp;with new hospitality and public uses, including a rooftop venue.

A significant component of The One will be its residential amenity.

More than 5,000 sqm of resident facilities will be delivered across a single level, making it one of the largest consolidated residential amenity offerings proposed in an Australian apartment development.

The planning approval also incorporates a major upgrade of Queensbridge Square, which PDG will deliver in partnership with the City of Melbourne.

The existing square will be revitalised as a new civic and pedestrian space along the Yarra River, strengthening the connection between the project, Southbank and the riverfront.

PDG Founder and Managing Director Vince Giuliano said the approval represented a major milestone for a site which has remained largely underutilised for more than 15 years.

“This is the most significant Planning Permit approval Melbourne has seen in recent years,” Giuliano said.

“For more than 15 years, this site has remained underutilised. This approval enables us to deliver a project that will contribute meaningfully to the revitalisation of Southbank, restore and reactivate an important heritage building, and create a new civic and hospitality destination for Melbourne.”

The latest approval follows an earlier planning permit issued by the City of Melbourne covering demolition works across part of the site at 9-29 Queens Bridge Street. Those demolition and early works are already underway.

PDG has also started generating early interest in the residential component from owner-occupiers ahead of a planned public launch in early 2027.

PDG secures approval for $1.5bn Southbank apartment development, The One

Local developer Harridan is seeking to turn its Woolloongabba apartment project into the first stage of a broader transformation of Burke Street, using a new 16-storey mixed-use building to establish a greener pedestrian connection toward the rapidly evolving Boggo Road transport and knowledge precinct.

The South East Queensland developer has filed plans for 154 apartments on the <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/4-burke-street-woolloongabba-qld-4102">southern side of Burke Street</a>, where its proposal has been designed alongside a wider vision by LatStudios for the street.

That vision positions the southern side of Burke Street for buildings of 15 storeys and above, while envisaging lower-rise development of up to five storeys on the northern side to transition into Woolloongabba's existing character housing. It also proposes wider pedestrian verges, deep planting, new street trees and upgrades to the pedestrian approach to Boggo Road Station.

The Harridan development itself has been designed by Brisbane-based Arqus Design and will comprise 154 apartments across 16 storeys. The mix is weighted heavily toward two-bedroom apartments, with 121 proposed alongside 10 one-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom residences. There will typically be around 14 units per floor.

A lower-ground car park and three podium levels will accommodate 156 resident parking spaces, along with visitor and commercial parking. There will also be 154 resident bicycle spaces and 40 visitor bicycle parks.

Harridan is a family-owned developer and part of the Holmwood Highgate Group, with more than three decades of development activity across South East Queensland. Its portfolio spans residential, commercial and industrial property, with current residential projects including Riverbank on Byron in Bulimba, Esperance Residences in Carina and The Precinct at Kinross Road in Thornlands.

Wooloongabba has been popular for apartment developers, particularly since the announcement of the 2032 Summer Olympics games in Brisbane.

While there have been a lot of development applications, it has failed to materialize into real supply.&nbsp;

Tesla owners can now charge their cars for free at Stockland retail centres, with Stockland announcing a $200,000 national roll out of Tesla Destination Chargers across 31 shopping centres from Cairns to Melbourne.
The Tesla Destination Charger rollout complements Stockland’s 17 free Charge Point facilities at 10 locations in Australia, which have been used more than 2,000 times by customers since 2015, it said.
Hon Craig Laundy MP, Federal Assistant Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science joined Stockland to charge up the first Tesla vehicle at Stockland Cammeray shopping centre in Sydney.
Laundy said it was great to see two companies committed to sustainability working together to expand low emissions technology.

The least understood, worst reported and most unfairly treated issue in residential real estate is foreign investment.
The degree to which a patchwork of half-truths, empty rhetoric and outright lies has come to be accepted by almost everyone as truth is quite startling.
All forms of investment in real estate have become demonized amid the increasingly hysterical “debate” about housing affordability, but especially foreign investment. 
Politicians’ handling of the affordability issue has been taken directly from the Yes Minister playbook. The iconic British comedy series has provided the scripts for federal and state politicians seeking a convenient scapegoat for the affordability issue – someone they can attack to give the appearance they care, without costing votes. 
Overseas investors are the perfect target because they are seen as filthy rich foreign bastards, so everyone dislikes them or at least envies them, and they don’t vote in Australian elections.
After two long and pointless federal parliamentary inquiries into housing affordability, the Federal Government decided to blame it all on foreign investors. This provided lots of opportunities for sabre-ratting and righteous speech-making, followed by a big clampdown on foreign buyers who break the rules. 
State Governments seized the opportunity to not only blame foreign investors for high prices but also to extract still more revenue from the property investment sector by slapping extra taxes and other imposts on the dastardly foreigners. Media, of course, has lapped it up.
So thoroughly have foreign buyers been demonized that a recent public opinion survey found that most people blame foreign investors for rising property prices. Even in Perth, where house prices have been falling for four years, half of respondents claim foreigners are forcing their house prices to rise. That pretty much says it all.
The anecdotal evidence suggests that anyone who has bid at an auction in Sydney and Melbourne in recent years, and been out-gunned by someone of Asian appearance, has gone away complaining about foreign investors. They could be third generation Australians for all they know.
The NSW Government, which is more to blame for poor housing affordability than any other entity or group of individuals, has seized the opportunity to exploit the unpopularity of foreign investors by slugging them with further taxes, while claiming – rather remarkably - that it won’t affect the level of foreign buying in Sydney.
If that’s what they believe, then what’s the point of doing it? It’s a rhetorical questions – the answer, of course, is that it’s all about revenue-raising.
The mounting imposts on offshore buyers will deter them and that will cause high-rise projects to be cancelled, thereby reducing supply - one of the factors needed to improve affordability.
The craziest thing about the whole sorry issue is that foreign investors are such a small part of the overall buying market. The research indicates that offshore buyers account for less than 10 percent of residential sales. We’re being asked to believe that this tiny minority is somehow driving prices up everywhere, overpowering the more than 90 percent of buyers who are Australians. Are we really that weak and puny?
It’s likely suggesting that a Japanese sevens team with two players in the bin could defeat a 15-man Wallabies outfit.
Yet 54 percent of South Australians think foreigners are the greatest factor in forcing up property prices, even though prices have hardly moved in Adelaide; and 56 percent of Queenslanders have the same attitude, despite the absence of boom conditions in Brisbane.
Of course, it all depends how the survey is framed – also well-documented in the scripts of Yes Minister. Strange that this recent survey had little to say about negative gearing, another hugely-popular scapegoat. Seven out of 10 nationwide blame foreigners.
It shows, once again, how opinion surveys do little more than reflect the prevailing media view. Politicians and media keep telling the public that foreign buyers are forcing up prices - so that’s what most people think. It’s not as if the average citizen goes out and conducts their own research. They just believe what they read.
The proof that foreign buyers are unfairly blamed is this: both federal and state governments, as well as lenders, have been clamping down on foreign investment for the past two years. New taxes and charges have made it incredibly expensive for them to buy our real estate, while those who are deemed to have done the wrong thing have been forced to sell back the properties they acquired.
The level of foreign investment is falling significantly. But prices have continued to rise in Sydney and Melbourne.

Level of foreign investment is falling significantly as foreigners are demonized: Terry Ryder

Property fund manager Charter Hall Group’s Direct Office Fund has been awarded the best direct property fund at the Money Management/Lonsec Fund Manager of the Year Awards.
DOF is the flagship fund for the Charter Hall Direct business, returning an average of 18.2% per annum (on Wholesale A Units) compared to the benchmark (MSCI/IPD Australian Unlisted Wholesale Property Fund Index) of 12.3% per annum since 2014, said Charter Hall.
Its portfolio includes 11 fully leased office buildings in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth valued at more than $1.1 billion.
According to Charter Hall, the DOF’s investment strategy includes buying Australian commercial real estate assets which are on long leases with quality covenants.
DOF recently leased several floors in the glass wall skyscraper, 1 Nicholson Street, on the northern edge of Melbourne CBD for an eight-year term.
Charter Hall Direct head Steven Bennett said the award from research house Lonsec was proof the fund was delivering strong risk- adjusted returns to investors.
“This award is a testament to the Charter Hall Direct team that seeks to provide investors with market leading direct property investment opportunities that are usually only available to wholesale investors,” he said.
“We continue to witness strong interest in DOF with more than $200 million equity raised since September 2016 from high net worth, self-managed super funds, investors in retail super and pension platforms and advised investors.”
He said Sydney and Melbourne assets accounted for more than 80% of the fund’s portfolio.
The fund has received strong ratings from independent research houses, with ‘Highly Recommended’ by Zenith, and ‘Highly Recommended’ by Lonsec.

Charter Hall's office fund wins best direct property fund award

A tenanted Noosaville retail premises has sold at auction through Ray White Commercial for $1,090,000.
The property at <a href="https://www.raywhite.com/qld/noosaville/1656894/?lang=en" target="_blank">14/18 Thomas Street</a> sold for a yield of 6.5 percent. 
It is leased to Options Eyecare with the contract in place until 2025. The property returns a net rental of $71,547 per annum.
Ray White Commercial's Paul Butler, who oversaw the deal, said the marketing campaign for the 106 sqm tenancy in the Noosa Homemakers’ Centre attracted almost 1,500 internet hits and there were five registered bidders at the onsite auction. 
“Bidding started at $900,000 and there were 10 separate bids before the property was sold under the hammer,” he said.
“Options Eyecare is highly regarded in Noosa. Several bidders were clients and understood how good the operation is so they were interested in buying the investment opportunity.” 
The retail centre has three street frontages to main Noosaville roads and tenants including Rip Curl, McDonalds and Rivers.
Ray White sold the property on behalf of a local owner.

Noosaville retail property sells under the hammer for a yield of 6.5%

Deal Corp is selling 34 serviced apartments in one line at its Arkana development at Dandenong with expectations of around $10 million through Savills.
Designed by Hayball Architects, Arkana comprises an eight-storey building with serviced apartments, ground floor retail, office accommodation, conferencing and other facilities.
They are fully leased to hotel operator Punt Hill at a total annual income of $723,236.
The apartments are on the market by expressions of interest closing July 5.
The marketing is being handled by Savills' Julian Heatherich, Benson Zhou and Jesse Radisich.
Heatherich said the unique investment offered benefits over a typical apartment investment.
"This offering provides investors with 34 fully furnished apartments leased to the Punt Hill Group at fixed rental costs with annual CPI increases, rent is not linked to occupancy or vacancy, assuring investors of dependable annual gains, returns are well above residential apartment rates and there are depreciation benefits from a modern building," he said.
The lease is on each apartment specifically and was not dependent on group revenues or any other form of pooled income or profit share.
He said owners could use apartments up to 14 days annually.
Zhou said the number of serviced apartments had surged by more than 300 per cent making it the fastest-growing category of tourist accommodation in Melbourne.

Sydney CBD commercial property sales have decreased compared to the previous quarter, according to property data firm CoreLogic's latest Cityscope.
The latest research from Sydney Cityscope shows that Sydney CBD commercial property sales for the three months ending May 2017 have decreased in total value from the preceding quarter.
There were 73 sales recorded for the most recent quarter with a total value of $796.7 million, as compared to 93 sales for a total of $1.213 billion for the quarter ending February 2017 and the 104 sales for a total of $1.004 billion for the quarter ending November 2016.
For the year ending May 2017, there were 359 sales recorded for a total of $4.867 billion, compared to 382 sales for a total of $8.714 billion for the year ending May 2016.

Sydney CBD commercial properties sales decline: Cityscope

Law firm Baker McKenzie is moving into Lendlease's Barangaroo Tower One from its home at AMP Capital's 50 Bridge overlooking Circular Quay.
The leading firm has been operating there since 1978, and their move indicates businesses willing to move out from traditional areas of the city.
Property Observer had previously reported that the “Barangaroo effect” had firmly taken hold as corporate users are seeing this now as a firmly established precinct.
Baker McKenzie will occupy 7,500 square metres in the new Lendlease tower, taking levels 44, 45 and 46 for a term of 10 years, according to The Australian Financial Review.
The law firm agreed to surrender its lease in 50 Bridge, allowing the landlord AMP Capital to start its redevelopment of the precinct called Quay Quarter.
"As the leading global law firm in Australia, we are excited about our move to Barangaroo, which is already renowned for its world-class design and as a vibrant business precinct,” Baker McKenzie's national managing partner Anthony Foley was cited as saying by the AFR.
The design of the new office space is still being finalised, but it will be a mix of fully enclosed offices, semi-open offices and workstations.
Baker McKenzie was advised by Independent Corporate Property Oceania's Peter Messenger while JLL's head of leasing Tim O'Connor represented the landlord.
Barangaroo South, where Baker McKenzie's offices will be located, is the economic hub of the precinct and comprises three commercial towers known as the International Towers Sydney, where the firm will reside in the tallest office tower. Rents were not disclosed in the deal but recent gross leases in the tower have come in at about $1400 square metre before incentives. Baker McKenzie would have been given certain incentives for both the new lease and the surrendered AMP lease.
Lendlease's managing director, Barangaroo South, Rob Deck, said the deal cemented Barangaroo's position as one of the key destinations in the Sydney office leasing market
"We are delighted that Baker McKenzie have committed to space in Tower One, joining a range of leading businesses who already call Barangaroo home," Deck said.
AMP Capital managing director for office &amp; industrial Luke Briscoe acknowledged the long-term tenancy of Baker McKenzie while confirming that construction on the Quay Quarter Tower (QQT) would begin next year.
"Following the great success of our residential sales campaign for Loftus Lane apartments and securing AMP as anchor tenant for QQT, we are pleased to confirm the construction of the office tower and residential apartments will begin in early 2018."
AMP Capital plans for 50 Bridge Street includes the new 49-floor premium commercial office Quay Quarter Tower.

Law firm Baker McKenzie makes the shift from Circular Quay to Barangaroo

A fully leased retail complex in Melbourne’s Southbank has been snapped up by a local investor for $3.4 million, above the $2.8 million expectations, at Savills auction.
At the transaction price, the yield works out to be a sharp 4.94 percent and underlines the robust demand for a well-located retail property.
The <a href="https://commercialpropertysearch.savills.com.au/8150dd98-3a14-e711-80c7-005056813885/Sale/Southbank/Ground,-152-Sturt-Street" target="_blank">152 Sturt Street</a> property comprises six shops totalling 1,080 square metres of retail space including a new fit-out. 
The property was sold fully leased to the City of Melbourne at a net annual rental of $168,105 on a five-year term with options.
The selling agents were Clinton Baxter, Jesse Radisich and Benson Zhou of Savills.
Baxter said strong bidding from the start had resulted in a fast-moving auction and a great result for the vendor.  
“This was an outstanding result for a property which offered all of the key attributes of a blue chip investment including a government tenancy, a long lease, the potential for very strong rental growth as the area continues to develop, and significant depreciation benefits,” said Baxter.
The property comprises the ground floor of the hugely successful 317 apartment Guild development with all apartments selling prior to the building’s completion.
The vendor was the developer behind the Guild project.

Southbank retail complex sells for $3.4 million at Savills auction

Leading office-products supplier COS has invested $1 million in installing over 1,500 solar panels at its facilities as it works towards zero carbon emissions.
The decision to invest in the panels came after an audit showed electricity to be contributing almost 50 per cent to the company’s carbon emissions.
COS’ solar energy farms in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are expected to produce 80 per cent of power usage at each site. The panels at its Sydney facility alone covers over 6,060 square metres. 
These three sites will produce more than 611 megawatt hours per annum and reduce COS’ carbon emissions by 532 tonnes per year – equivalent to removing 133 cars off the road and growing 3,191 mature trees — according to a media release.
COS managing director Dominique Lyone said the company being privately owned means it has the freedom to make long-term decisions that may not have an immediate return on investment. 
“This move reflects our commitment to embracing new technology to protect natural resources and create sustainable solutions that benefit current and future generations. We hope this inspires other organisations to reduce their carbon footprint,” he added
COS worked with solar energy equipment supplier Sun Connect to install the solar panels at each site.
Sun Connect CEO Mark Tuke said the COS project was one of the largest commercial solar panel installations Sun had undertaken.
The COS website will also feature live data showing the amount of energy generated from its solar energy farms. 
“The solar energy farms actually produce more energy than we need with 25 per cent being fed back into the electricity grid. The next phase of this project will involve further investigation into battery storage solutions to move us closer to our goal of a zero emissions future,” said Lyone.

Office products supplier COS spends $1 million on solar energy farms to power its offices

The number of auctions held this week saw a significant decrease, with 1,265 properties taken to market across the combined capital cities, down from 2,578 over the week prior. 
The decrease in auction activity this week is attributable to the Queen’s Birthday public holiday this Monday, which has affected activity across most states, including Australia’s two largest auction markets. 
The lower volume is consistent with what is historically seen over this period, with 1,100 auctions reported over the same week last year. Last week saw the final auction clearance rate revise lower to reach 69.8 percent; an equal second lowest clearance rate for the year so far.  
The final clearance rate last week was the lowest over 2017 to date in Sydney and Melbourne.  
This week the preliminary auction clearance rate increased slightly to 71.8 percent, however it is typical to see clearance rates revise lower as final results are collected.

Across Melbourne, this week’s preliminary clearance rate was recorded at 77.1 per cent, up from 73.1 per cent last week and remaining well above the clearance rate for the city one year ago (64.5 per cent). This week, Melbourne was host to 392 auctions, lower than the 1,188 held last week, but higher than a year ago when there were 341 Melbourne auctions held over the week. Of the 9 individual Melbourne sub-regions, this week the strongest performer, in terms of clearance rate was the North West. So far, CoreLogic has collected 29 results for the region and the preliminary result shows 89.7 per cent of these auctions were successful.

Sydney’s preliminary clearance rate this week was 71.3 percent across 457 auction results. There were a total of 610 auctions held across the city. Looking back at this weekend last year, 463 auctions were held across Sydney and a clearance rate of 74.1 percent was recorded. 
Sydney’s North Sydney and Hornsby hosted the most auctions of any Sydney sub-region this week, with 100 properties taken to auction. The preliminary clearance rate for the region is 75.8 percent across 66 results.

Tasmania saw 4 auctions take place this week, 3 results have been reported so far, with 2 sales.
