Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs sells in Coogee

The matrimonial home of Vanuatu-based Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs and estranged wife Rose has sold before this weekend's scheduled auction.
It fetched $4,612,000.
The former couple, whose split emerged in the Sunday Telegraph just a few weeks ago, were seeking between $4 million and $4.4 million.
Steve and Rose had been together for 11 years before Sydney Confidential confirmed last month they had gone their separate ways.
In happier times the two news readers paid $2.55 million for the home after trading up from their former Coogee property, the one they bought upon leaving Melbourne in 2008.

There's no sign of Jacobs returning anytime soon, with the parents focus now solely on their children.
Jacobs recently took the girls out on a fishing trip in the crystal blue waters.
Accompany an Instagram photo of a fishing boat, Jacobs wrote "We are off to explore a private island to look for coconut crabs. Kids are so excited."
