Byron Bay's Jonson Street is set for a new $100 million mixed-use development.

Local <a href="/new-apartments/byron-bay-nsw-2481">Byron Bay</a> developer, <a href="/developers/jd-property-group">JD Property Group</a>, has been approved for a luxury shoptop development at 119-123 Jonson Street, a 2,725 sqm block just 750 metres from Main Beach and on the corner of Jonson and Kingsley Street.

They'll launch the project, dubbed <a href="/new-apartments/secret-garden-119-123-jonson-street-byron-bay">Secret Garden</a>, this month.

<a href="/new-apartments/secret-garden-119-123-jonson-street-byron-bay">Secret Garden</a> is JD Property Group’s second premier Byron Bay development. Sydney-based property finance and development company, Moshav Financial, has released the vision for its fourth luxury residential project in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Industry data reveals 16,000 dwellings are required in the City of Melbourne alone over the next three years to meet demand, research from Urbis Apartment Essentials; City of Melbourne report showed.

Data from Charter Keck Cramer also shows only 2,600 new apartments were launched in Melbourne in 2023, the lowest in a decade. Recent ABS data has shows apartment approvals in Victoria declined to a 17-year low.

Warren and Mahoney has been engaged again to design Ancora, a 28-level tower with 303&nbsp;residences that offer uninterrupted views of either Victoria Harbour towards the city or the Yarra River across to Port Phillip Bay.

Prices will start from $660,000 for the 276 one, two and three-bedroom apartments that sit in the Waterfront Collection.

The Premier Collection comprises 27&nbsp;residences across a range of townhouses, penthouses, and larger-scale apartments that will soon become available.

Ancora residents will enjoy a hotel-style lobby with concierge service, a private dining room to entertain guests, and the lush, landscaped surrounds of two rooftop terraces located at level for and level 16 with panoramic views, plus a wintergarden.

Ancora will also connect to the neighbouring Regatta via a podium that allows easy access for residents to a range of facilities that promote wellness including an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, gym and multipurpose rooms.

Designed as an all-electric building with electric vehicle infrastructure, the development will target 5 Star Green Star certification.

As part of the Collins Wharf precinct, Lendlease is delivering new public spaces. Ancora will be surrounded by over 5,000sqm of new parkland including a new green space being delivered in tandem with the residences. Designed by landscape architect Openwork and inspired by First Nations culture, it will feature Indigenous plants and include workout and fitness stations, covered seating areas, play zones, and open lawns.

Each residence is designed to be light-filled and north-facing, with living areas that connect to private terraces via floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and windows, offering treetop views.

The focal point of the apartments is the kitchen, equipped with Miele and Gaggenau appliances and featuring a 3.5-meter-long, full-stone dining and kitchen island bench. Most units include a built-in bar with a wine fridge and a walk-in pantry.

Builder developer&nbsp;Burbank Urban has launched a limited release of homes in its new townhouse development in the heart of Camberwell.

No.1 Camberwell comprises 16 three and four-bedroom free-standing and semi-detached homes starting from $2.3 million.
