Potts Point apartment most expensive sale: RP Data

A three-bedroom apartment in Potts Point was this week’s most expensive sale, selling for $3.3 million, according to RP Data. 

Located at 1501/81 Macleay Street, the apartment features a CaesarStone kitchen with Miele appliances and two bathrooms.

A private balcony boasts views of Woolloomooloo Bay, the Opera House, Bridge and Harbour.

The successful purchaser has access to the complex’s facilities including a pool, sauna and gym.

The apartment last sold in 2009 for $3.1 million, reflecting a price appreciation of 1.74% over the four year period.

Prior to that, it was sold by Mirvac in 2002 for $3,005,650.

It most recently sold through Jason Boon of Richardson & Wrench Potts Point at its July 11 auction.
