How Celine Chatswood buyers can personalise their apartments before they're built

Buying an apartment off the plan can gives purchasers the opportunity to secure a new home years before it's completed. It can also give them the chance to have a say in how that home looks and functions before construction is finished.
At Celine in Chatswood, developer Hyecorp is taking that opportunity further through its Live Your Way program, which allows buyers to work directly with an interior designer to personalise everything from kitchen layouts and joinery to lighting, finishes and, in some cases, the apartment configuration itself.
With construction scheduled to begin in early 2027 and completion expected in mid-2029, Hyecorp is also considering how buyers’ needs might change between purchasing and moving in.
Hyecorp joint managing director Stephen Abolakian says designing apartments that can adapt to different stages of life is an important part of the process.
"That home office in the here and now might be a nursery by the time the project completes for a prospective buyer, so we need to think about how the apartment spaces function for future uses so there's longevity in the ownership," Abolakian said.
That thinking is already reflected in Celine's floorplans. Most apartments include a multi-purpose room with an integrated desk and fold-down Murphy bed, allowing the space to serve different purposes over time.
Celine's kitchens come with Taj Mahal stone benchtops, bronze tapware, integrated refrigeration and bespoke joinery as standard, with Miele appliances in the one- and two-bedroom homes and Gaggenau in the three- and four-bedroom homes. Through Live Your Way, buyers can choose between timber or light joinery palettes and between two entertainer-style island designs, one with a breakfast bar and one with full cabinetry.
The bathrooms pair warm walnut timber with Taj Mahal stone and generous concealed storage, and can be taken further with spa-inspired upgrades such as heated flooring. Lighting is also open to change, with a curated selection of designer pendants and sculptural wall sconces.
Beyond those rooms, buyers can customise colour palettes, tailor their wardrobe designs, add smart-home technology and choose from a range of premium finishes, shaping the home around how they plan to use it day to day.
For some Celine purchasers, personalisation is already reaching beyond finishes. Hyecorp says two sales at the project involve buyers amalgamating apartments and customising them to suit their own families' needs, shaping the layout itself as well as the detail within it.
Hyecorp says its structure is what allows the program to work. As architect, builder and developer, it handles each selection through its in-house team from concept to construction, without relying on third parties, and the work is backed by comprehensive warranties.
Live Your Way is only offered in the early stages of selling, and only a limited number of pre-selected options are complimentary. Bespoke customisations are available at an additional cost and at Hyecorp's discretion.
For buyers who commit early, that means the home they move into in 2029 can be one they have helped shape from the start.
