A two level William Smart-designed home overlooking Werri Beach, near Gerringong on the NSW south coast has been listed with record price expectations.

The December 7 auction had been scheduled by local developers Mark and Janet Lamble who bought the 750 square metre north-facing Tasman Drive block of land opposite the beachside reserve in 2010 for $765,000.

The couple have instead decided to keep their Berry farm.

The listing agent Neil Campbell, of Ray White Gerringong, expects to exceed the previous record of $1.7 million set in 2011 for another beachfront property located on Pacific Avenue.
