One of the most boutique developments to launch in Wollongong for several years has hit the market.

Mind Property has teamed up with Insight Development Group to deliver COAST, just 12 luxury apartments in a sculptural nine-level building toward the northern end of the suburb.

With its elevated positioning on Church Street and expansive views across the Pacific Ocean and escarpment, the project is designed to suit the downsizing owner-occupier.

Daniel Kostovski of Rise Projects, who is selling COAST, says there is a lot of local interest from those with ties to Wollongong.

"They’ve either remained here or are planning on returning from Sydney," Kostovski says.

"COAST is designed for those who want easy, elevated living with everything at their doorstep."

Each of the first four floors hosts just two apartments per level, before giving way to a series of full-floor residences above, culminating in a double-storey penthouse with its own private rooftop pool.

The apartments are generously proportioned, with a strong skew toward three and four-bedroom layouts.

The location, moments from North Wollongong Beach, the Blue Mile, and key amenity precincts, underpins that lifestyle appeal.

Designed by PRD Architects, the interior feature tactile materials such as solid marble, artisan joinery, fluted glass, and natural timber accents. Kitchens are fitted with Miele appliances and integrated wine fridges, as well as a central island benches designed for entertaining.

Three sub-penthouses, the Skyhome Collection, and the crowning penthouse residence showcase COAST’s most luxurious offering, complete with open-air terraces, marble fireplaces, and statement curved detailing throughout.

COAST’s arrival marks a rare development in a tightly held part of Wollongong, with little new supply coming through the local development pipeline.

Construction is scheduled to commence in late 2025, with completion targeted for mid-2027.
