Designed by Sydney locals MHN Design Union, the $5.5 million development will see just four three-bedroom apartments developed, and one four-bedroom penthouse.&nbsp;

"The unit mix is consistent with market demand and represents a wide range of apartment buyers, users, and typologies,” MHNDU said in their design statement.&nbsp;

“It will suit the demographic mix of families, retirees, and down-sizers living within the surrounding area, while the layouts are flexible and adaptable to allow for future conversion if needed.”

An attempt has been made to minimise the bulk and scale of the building, with the architects utilising a bi-partite form that incorporates an articulated facade and adequate setbacks between neighbouring buildings. The masonry building will feature regular openings, deep reveals, columns and solid panel walls to provide a rhythm of light and shadowed elements against a white textured render, along with clear glass and light bronze metal trims and detailing.

Pricey Bellevue Hill ranks as Australia's dearest rental suburb

The former Channel 9 boss David Gyngell and his television presenter wife Leila McKinnon have bought back in the Sydney market.

Their $4.5 million Bellevue Hill purchase came a year after they pocketed $8.4 million from the delayed settlement sale of their Dover Heights home.

The couple spend most of their time these days in the Byron Bay hinterland, ­enjoying family life and attending to a Northern Rivers tourism property empire, focused around the Hotel Brunswick.

The Sydney bolthole was bought by a company directed by the pair, the same company which owns a Bondi investment apartment.

His sister Briony Fitzgerald and mother Anne helped design the mansion after its $1.5 million 2014 rebuild, which was then ­featured in Belle magazine.

“Every room, including the bathrooms, captures views of the ocean, coast or harbour in the distance. On a clear day you can see from Palm Beach to Wollongong,” the ­magazine reported.

Their off-market buyers in the deal, done a year before its settlement, were Adam and Alex Somerville from North Bondi, who are in the business of retirement villages.

Murray's Coaches boss Ron Murray lists longtime Bellevue Hill home

Now back in Sydney, Chris Pongrass, the chief executive of the Sydney Kings, has put down roots in Bellevue Hill.  
He was appointed CEO at the NBL club just over a year ago having spent six years with the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.
He’s paid $2.1m for a newly renova­ted unit. Last traded for $1,363,000 in 2014, the 120sqm, three bedroom, two bathroom unit was sold through Ray White Double Bay agents Warren Ginsberg and Claudia Brunker.
The sale for Alexandra and Dean Joffe, the mortgage broker, was sec­ured in less than two weeks. There have been 15 three-bedder sales so far this year, with prices ranging from $1.4m to $2.7m.
Pongrass, a UTS graduate, started his career as a paralegal at Harry Triguboff’s Meriton Group.

Sydney Kings chief executive buys in Bellevue Hill

Located at 14 Victoria Road, the residence features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a double garage.
It is situated on a 1,062 square metre block.
It last sold in 1999, for $3,295,000.

Bellevue Hill's Killoran listed for sale

Runway model Roberta Pecoraro and her boyfriend Jono Friend are set to upsize.
They secured $915,000 for their one bedroom Bellevue Hill apartment they bought for $820,000 in 2018, their first purchase together.
They tidied the kitchen up a touch, but nothing in the way of a major renovation of the top floor apartment in the Art Deco block Reddington.
Now they have their sights set on the beach. Friend has his fashion brand's flagship store, DearFriend, in Bondi, while Roberta's stylist sister Jess also resides near the beach.
Agent Charles Stevens of McGrath Coogee secured the sale.
“We were going off market for the first week and during that time we had someone come through that made an offer of $915,000,” Stevens said of the fact it was initially not marketed. “Then it went live on the market, but they ended up selling to that first person who came through it.
“Essentially, it sold to the first person who came through it in its first week on the market.” 
Pecoraro exploded on the modelling world after a featuring in Australian Fashion Week 2017.
