More than $6 million was being sought for the snappily sold Walsh Bay apartment which comes with Peter Fudge gardens.

Offers were due by today through Michael Paroulakis of Pillinger in conjunction with Richard Shalhoub of McGrath.

It was initially listed in 2011, being on and off each year since, including another marketing campaign last July.

Property Observer gleans around $5.75 million was secured in this week's sale.

It had 400 square metres of living space over two levels, including a 100 square metre garden entertaining terrace.

It comes with 17.5 metre marina berth at its doorstep, accommodating a 64 foot cruiser.

It features four large bedrooms, four bathrooms and two powder rooms, with the accommodation divided into two private wings, with bespoke details, including polished timber floorboards, quality tiles underfloor heated, a fireplace and the extensive use of glass to maximise the harbour outlook.

It last sold at $2.9 million in 2007.
