Opera diva Amelia Farrugia and husband Paul Chesher sell in Balmoral

The opera Diva Amelia Farrugia and her husband, the concert promoter, Paul Chesher have sold their Balmoral home.

It was sold by Andrew Blaxland from Richardson & Wrench Mosman & Neutral Bay who had been seeking high $2 millions.

Selling before the July 2 expressions of interest date, its sale price is undisclosed. The neighbourhood tattle suggests $2,859,500.

The three bedroom Lower Almora Street, Mosman house on a 521 square metre block last traded at $2.1 million in 2005.

Its a 1920s beach house with plans drawn up for renovation by James Cooper of Sanctum Design.
