The Potts Point investment apartment of actor Russell Crowe has been snappily sold on its recent relisting.

Around $2 million was tipped for the top-floor apartment through Brad Pillinger at Pillinger Property. The sale price hasn’t been revealed on the apartment, which Crowe bought for $1.5 million in 2001 from the theatre director Jim Sharman.

Its understood to be a tad under $2 million given what prospective buyers were being told shortly before the sold sticker was posted.

More than $2 million was being sought on its initial listing last October. The two level Victoria Street apartment which was made available to South Sydney footballer recruits is at the northern end of the plane tree-lined Parisian-style strip. Sharman had bought the apartment set in a charming terrace row in 1984 for $310,000.
