The Smile Solutions dentist Kia Pajouhesh placed a $7 million vendor bid when his 1930s Toorak mansion went to weekend auction through Kay & Burton agent Andrew Baines.

It was last traded at $6.8 million in April 2010, and has since undergone more than a cosmetic restoration. The family say it took four months.

It now comes without its turning circle portico.

Property Observer reported in April that Pajouhesh intended to traded up to an $8 million-plus penthouse apartment in the Royal Domain Towers on St Kilda Road.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom Georgian-style Orrong Road property, near Towers Road, features a pool and tennis court on its 1,765-square-metre holding.

Smile Solutions is Melbourne’s largest dental practice in one location anywhere in Australia, occupying three floors within the Manchester Unity Building on Collins Street.
