Perth developer Megara has completed its flagship North Fremantle apartment development, Serai, with the final collection of residences now released to the market and ready for buyers to move straight into.

The completion comes ahead of summer, with buyers able to inspect the finished apartments and the extensive resident amenity that has been a key part of the project's appeal.

Serai, at 21 McCabe Street, comprises 98 residences across three buildings rising up to eight levels, occupying an elevated position between the Swan River and Fremantle Harbour.

Designed by architect Felipe Soto and delivered by West To West Builders, the development includes a mix of apartments, townhouses and penthouses, with architecture inspired by both the Amalfi Coast and the surrounding North Fremantle landscape.

Soto incorporated sweeping curves and a sculptural façade into the design, drawing inspiration from the movement of the Swan River and the weathered cliffs along the Western Australian coastline.

The residences feature interiors by Mischa Pesnelle, with stone finishes, V-ZUG appliances, Laufen basins and Sussex tapware.

High ceilings and floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows have been designed to make the most of the development's elevated position, with views extending across the Swan River, Fremantle Harbour, the ocean and, from some residences, Rottnest Island.

The apartments also achieve an average 6-star NatHERS energy rating.

A significant part of Serai's offering is its resident amenity, which is now complete and available for residents to use.

A heated swimming pool on level two overlooks the Swan River, complemented by a fire-pit lounge, outdoor cinema, barbecue facilities and private dining spaces. Residents also have access to a games room, gym, yoga studio, steam room and sauna.

Soto said the intention was to create "spaces where you can come together and meet your neighbours."

The completion adds to the growing collection of new apartment developments in North Fremantle, a suburb that has become increasingly attractive to buyers seeking proximity to both the coast and Perth's established lifestyle precincts.

Positioned between Cottesloe and Fremantle, the suburb offers access to Leighton Beach, the walking trails and heritage lookouts of Buckland Hill Reserve, and a growing mix of restaurants, cafés and boutique retailers.

North Fremantle Station is also nearby, connecting residents to Fremantle and the Perth CBD via the Fremantle Line.

With construction complete, Megara has opened a collection of styled residences for private inspections, giving prospective purchasers the opportunity to walk through the finished apartments rather than purchase off the plan.

The remaining two-bedroom apartments are priced from $1.495 million, while larger four-bedroom residences start from $5.495 million.

Serai is the flagship development in Megara's growing Perth portfolio, which also includes Ora Sorrento, a 73-residence beachfront development nearing completion, with its first residents expected to move in before summer.
