Media personality Deborah Hutton has bought two off-the-plan apartments in Mirvac's new development at Harold Park, Glebe.

Hutton has made two purchases – a one-bedroom apartment plus a two-bedroom apartment.

Harold Park is being developed on a 10-hectare site previously owned by NSW Harness Racing Club.

Last month Mirvac released the first stage – 296 apartments – of the development to its client database.

The development, set 2.5 kilometres from Sydney's central business district, abuts the suburbs of Glebe, Forest Lodge and Annandale.

Mirvac has indicated pricing in the master-planned community will start from $499,000 for studios (average internal area, excluding balconies, courtyards and parking, 45 square metres).

One-bedders (average internal 55 square metres) will be priced from $550,000; two-bedroom apartments (average internal 90 square metres) start from $775,000; and three-bedroom units (average internal 125 square metres) are priced from $1,245,000.

The terraces (average internal 161 square metres) are priced from $1,395,000. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2012 and to be completed in 2014.
