The wait is almost over for students and employees of the University of Sydney as completion of the highly anticipated Social Sciences building was announced today. The modern and highly sustainable design embraces its heritage context of the Camperdown campus, honouring the legacy of one of Australia’s oldest universities.

Contemporary teaching and learning spaces have been created to encourage collaborative learning through the creation of large light filled open-plan spaces, a design choice made to inspire a sense of faculty community, and inclusiveness.

The design also reflects the University’s commitment to “invention and evolution” by using technological advancements to produce a highly eco-conscious design which meets the University’s Silver As-Built Rating (which is equivalent to a 5 Star Green Star Rating). Features include a well-insulated façade made from metallic bronze-coasted interstitial Sefar micro-mesh interlayer laminated into Okalux Architectural glass. Not only does this create an incredible optical effect, but it also provides excellent thermal protection and encourages natural light flow into the building.

Art installations throughout the University provide cultural connection to the building's historical significance, traditional owners and faculty. A feature piece emblazoned on the granite façade of the building is a work by Robert Andrew entitled ‘GARABARA’. Garabara is the term for an Australian Aboriginal dance ceremony or gathering where stories are told, and knowledge is passed on to younger generations.

University of Sydney’s highly anticipated Social Sciences building by Architectus opens today

Award-winning architecture firm Bates Smart is set to embark on a second collaboration with M&amp;L Hospitality in the restoration of the heritage Equity Chambers Building including the venue’s iconic grand hall. The two-part design featuring the 6-floor pre-existing building and a brand new 16-floor tower will serve as Melbourne’s next Hilton Hotel.

Located on the corner of Little Queen and Bourke Streets, the building will retain its original structure and intricate architectural detailing, highlighting the opulence of travel and hospitality during the 1930s.

A new modern tower will be constructed right behind the original building, with an open-air courtyard connecting the two structures. Working closely with the Heritage Council of Victoria, the team have redesigned the building thoughtfully, to ensure the new design remains true to the style of its original architects Oakley &amp; Parkes.

The CIMIC Group led consortia includes Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors and UGL with international partners DIF, BAM and Ghella.

Under the title ‘Tunnel, Stations and Development’ (TSD), the team will deliver the underground sector of the project, including constructing a tunnel from Dutton Park to Normanby, the construction of four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street. They will also provide a property development opportunity above the Albert Street Station.

<h2>UNITY</h2>

Under the title ‘Rail, Integration and Systems’ (RIS), the group will be responsible for delivering the design, supply and installation of the rail system, as well as the integration into Queensland Rail’s train network and the upgrade of Exhibition Station.

<h2>HITACHI RAIL STS</h2>

Hitachi Rail STS will work under the title ‘European Train Control System’ (ETCS) and will focus on enabling increased capacity on the inner-city rail network, safety enhancement, and facilitate network efficiency measures.

The project will also include a 5.9km twin tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD - a significant infrastructure project which will take five years to complete but an exceptional enhancement to the existing railway system for Queensland commuters.

What do you believe were the key drivers for the property purchases?

Adelene Teh: Thank you! We were excited to launch Kew as a project and having such successful sales was definitely a great reinforcement to what we [Beulah International] believe with regards to what people are looking for when purchasing a new home. Location is certainly key and for The Grounds of Kew in particular, this corner positioning on Cotham Road is second to none. It is amongst the highly coveted Sackville Ward of Kew, and is near some of the state’s most prestigious schools and mansions. This was certainly a key driver for several buyers. Each of our projects goes through a rigorous research, design and development process to ensure that we are delivering a tailored product that will add value to its unique location. We often get comments on the generous size of the apartments within Kew. While it is uncommon for multi-residential developments to offer such spaces, we know that purchasers love the fact they can leave their established home and not compromise on space. One thing that has been truly fulfilling for us is the sense of community our projects bring to the residents. We recently held a demolition party for our future residents at Kew and see the relationships begin to form was so wonderful. Our whole team said we would love to move in; it looks like it will be a very fun, supportive and friendly place to live. We’re really proud that we can offer our purchasers something different and that our projects are going to truly enhance their lifestyle too.

AT: The word luxury has been overused in the development industry. Generally speaking, in the industry, luxury is defined by space, finishes and materiality - use of stone etc. However, at Beulah, we value the use of good materials but more than just the tangible, luxury is thoughtful design integrated to elevate the everyday lifestyle. We see luxury as the gift of health; body, soul and mind. A big focus for us is bringing back that sense of community living, while still maintaining a sense of privacy and retreat. This is achievable by including sizeable ground floor backyards. For The Grounds of Kew specifically, we have drawn inspiration from the grand estates and gardens of the suburb. The entrance itself adds another layer of privacy and security, located back from public domain, framing it with a bronzed gateway and two contemporary columns, leading to a canopied doorway. Meanwhile the large ground floor gardens are a private playground for their residents, with courtyards ranging in size from 200sqm – 300sqm. Large spaces and the ease spatial flow also enhance each home. Again, luxury is receiving the gift of time. Giving our residents that comfort and ease throughout every aspect of their day. From slowing down in the morning (e.g. getting ready at the makeup vanity) to cooking and entertaining across the expansive kitchen island bench, butler’s pantry, and outdoor spaces. When residents return home they’ll find cupboards just inside the entry for their shoes and keys, while the luxurious walk-in robe includes a makeup/vanity station for comfort and ease. We really like to include details based on how people live on a daily basis. It’s all about bringing a human touch to our designs to enhance every resident’s quality of life. Similarly, quality of life can often be dependent on location. This is our first consideration in any of our project. It was important to us that if we were to build in Kew, the site had to be amongst the Sackville Ward. The Sackville Ward is one of the most prestigious residential precincts in Melbourne with most homes valued at $5 million, and many above $10 million. These homes are the calibre of property we want to produce. Moreso, it is an untapped market when it comes to hyper-luxury, modern developments, so we saw an opportunity to provide something that is the pinnacle of design. The corner location of this site also enhances the offering.

Which elements of these designs were most important to incorporate in The Grounds of Kew?

AT: First and foremost, The Grounds of Kew will only be four levels high and will be set back from the public domain. The entrance will be framed by a bronzed gateway and two contemporary columns, leading to a canopied doorway. Other Sackville Ward inspired-designs include the interior colour palettes. We’re giving residents the option of two customised material and colour palettes, with the lighter scheme featuring light stone and pale joinery with accents of brass, whereas the darker and more dramatic scheme brings together graphic stone, rich joinery and contemporary bronze highlights.

AT: Established homeowners and local downsizers who have lived in the area for over 20 years, as well as those people living in surrounding suburbs – attracting them to the Sackville Ward and Kew. It was important to cater to people that wanted to stay within the suburb they know and love but without the upkeep. Fender Katsalidis has an amazing understanding of how individuals like to live and always ensure the spaces are designed efficiently and respond to the residents' needs. Their philosophy is underpinned by innovation through collaboration and that was something that really evident working alongside them on this project. There is nothing in Kew of this calibre, we have taken the approved permit scheme of 28-apartments, and reduced it to 20 house-size apartments in order to enhance our buyer's lives. There will be spacious two, three and four bedroom residences, with massive kitchens and dining areas that are perfect for entertaining guests, as well as butler’s pantries, wine cellars, walk-in-robes and plenty of storage.

AT: We are currently developing apartment homes in Camberwell following the amazing success of projects such as Hallmark Ivanhoe and The Grounds of Kew. With our high end collaborations attracting home owner-occupiers, Beulah believes that there is a true need in the market for this particular development and we are committed to deliver hyper luxurious spaces for these buyers to live in. We take ownership to deliver bespoke and beautiful developments that reflect the nature of the area and customers' needs. In terms of our current projects, our Fawkner House development in South Yarra’s exclusive Domain Precinct is in the process of moving into its next phase with construction beginning soon. We’ve also partnered with Ironside to begin construction on The Grounds of Kew, who recently delivered an incredibly successful project with Hallmark Ivanhoe.

Ironside Construction (Luminary, Morton Park, Piper) has been engaged to build both developments with completion slated for mid-2020. Working off the contemporary designs of DKO Architecture and John Patrick Landscape Architects, Habitus town-homes in South Melbourne will be constructed from a material palette of  brass, steel and glass features, nestled within meticulously landscaped greenery.

The sawtooth roof profile perhaps provides Habitus with its most defining feature - a contemporary design response to its context at the threshold of industry and living.

Interiors of all 27 four-storey town-homes will be modern, with warm timber, natural stone and ribbed glass for added privacy.

As construction nears completion on Far East Consortium’s <a href="/buildings/the-towers-at-elizabeth-quay-11-barrack-square-perth">Ritz Carlton in Perth</a>, the renowned developers have shifted their focus to its new $1.4 billion project which will take place in Perth's Northbridge. Four years ago, <a href="/developers/far-east-consortium">Far East Consortium</a> acquired the prime location for the complex, with plans to transform the site into a dual-tower multi-use complex.

The <a href="/architects/cottee-parker-architects">Cottee Parker</a>-designed '<a href="/new-apartments/perth-hub-600-wellington-street-perth">Perth Hub</a>' has undergone many design iterations over the journey, before gaining approval last year. One tower stands at 32-storeys tall and comprises 304 residential apartments. The second tower will house the 4-star Dorsett hotel and will feature 250 rooms across 23-storeys. An exception to the tower height restriction was made, due to the floor space being creatively redistributed throughout the tower – <a href="https://www.watoday.com.au/national/western-australia/perth-city-link-158-million-two-tower-development-project-approved-20180809-p4zwh7">demonstrating design excellence</a>.

Multiple awnings across the site have been planted with lush greenery, and during a 10-month monitoring period, studies undertaken by ASLA found that the green roof <a href="https://www.asla.org/ContentDetail.aspx?id=28758">prevented over 100,000 litres of stormwater (which is approximately 78%&nbsp;of all precipitation hitting the roof)&nbsp;from flowing into D.C.&rsquo;s overburdened sewer and stormwater system</a>. The study also discovered that run-off water contained fewer pollutants, there was a 10% decrease in building energy use over the winter, and even on the hottest summer days, the roof was around&nbsp;15&deg;C cooler than conventional roofing on neighbouring buildings.

<a href="https://www.centralparksydney.com/">One Central Park</a> raised the bar back in 2013 for green energy&nbsp;by housing its own tri-generation plant on site. The energy source will supply electricity, heating and cooling for 3,000 residences and 65,000 sqm of retail and commercial space via &lsquo;green transformers&rsquo; which are powered by natural gas. Environmental consultants and engineers have estimated a 190,000-tonne greenhouse gas emission reduction over the next 25 years which is the equivalent of removing 2,500 cars off the roads annually for 25 years.

In 2013 Sydney&rsquo;s 1 Bligh Street apartment complex was the first CBD development to house an Aquacell blackwater recycling unit. Aquacell said that the system would be likely to save 1 Bligh Street residents 100,000 litres of drinking water per day. The process involves treating bathroom wastewater (and sometimes additional water from a nearby sewer) to be used for plant irrigation, toilet flushing and cooling towers.

Western Australia&rsquo;s greenest building also happens to be the education hub for environment training &ndash; Green Skills Hub. The building has been constructed using entirely sustainable materials including structural steel which can be reused later down the track, and recycled timber throughout. The centre was awarded a 6-star Green Star rating.

The 55-storey, highly sustainable project will serve as a vertical village for more than 5,500 city workers. Cox Architecture + UN Studio's Green Spine design has been planned to reach a towering height of 356m and if approval is granted, the tower is set to become Australia's tallest tower by 2020. A six-month global search involving six of the world’s best architectural firms; BIG, Coop Himmelb(l)au, MAD Architects, MVRDV, OMA and UN Studio took place, with Cox Architecture + UN Studio's Green Spine design winning overall.

Australia's first Marriott Hotel to be built in 20 years is planned to open its doors in 2020. DKO Architecture has worked with Marriott Group to redefine the traditional "hotel", and instead create a versatile, minimalist space where guests can relax. Gone are the clunky writing desks, large wardrobes and carpet – a fresh new look will feature wooden floors, modern bed frames and furniture and large windows.

The new Ritz Carlton hotel will raise the bar for luxury hotels across Melbourne, claiming the title of the country's tallest hotel building. With a prolific global reputation for its luxury hospitality, Ritz Carlton Melbourne will tower 79 stories on Spencer Street and feature sky restaurants, a sky bar, a pool, a pool bar, a gym, a day spa and a ballroom.

New apartment supply has become increasingly constrained across <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developments/parramatta-nsw-2150">Parramatta</a> in recent years, with fewer projects progressing through to completion as development conditions have become more challenging.

It makes <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/novm">NOVM</a>'s 2021-completed <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/buildings/the-lennox-parramatta-12-phillip-street-parramatta-nsw-2150">The Lennox</a> one of the most recently completed residential towers on the Parramatta River, and among the newest apartment developments in Sydney's second CBD.

With the project largely completed before the sharp escalation in construction costs and inflation following the pandemic, The Lennox is now offering pricing that would be difficult to replicate in a comparable new development in Parramatta today, or across much of Western Sydney.

The majority of the 413 apartments at The Lennox sold before and shortly after completion. A limited release of the remaining apartments has recently been brought to market by capital partner <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/project-marketer/equitifund-group">Equitifund</a>, with entry-level pricing from $700,000 and two-bedroom apartments available from under $1 million.

Rising above the Parramatta River at 12 Phillip Street, The Lennox comprises one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, appealing to first home buyers, young professionals, families, downsizers and interstate investors seeking a completed apartment in one of Australia's fastest-growing economic centres.

Rather than positioning Parramatta as an alternative to Sydney's CBD, Equitifund believes the city has reached a point where it stands on its own merits.

"Parramatta is no longer simply an alternative to Sydney CBD, it's becoming a destination in its own right," Equitifund Executive Chairman Greg Huxley said.

"The Lennox captures that evolution with a level of quality and amenity that's difficult to match at its price point."

Designed by <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/architects/marchese-partners">Marchese Partners</a>, the tower responds directly to its riverfront setting through expansive glazing and open-plan layouts that maximise views across the Parramatta River and city skyline. Interiors feature engineered timber flooring, stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances and floor-to-ceiling glazing, while generous balconies extend the living spaces outdoors.

Marchese Partners says the project was conceived to balance high-quality apartment living with practical, long-term functionality, pairing larger, efficient floorplans with amenities more commonly associated with five-star hotels.

That emphasis continues through the resident facilities, which include a 20-metre rooftop swimming pool, fully equipped gym and wellness spaces, full-time concierge, a residents' lounge, function room, private lifts, secure basement parking and rooftop communal areas overlooking the Parramatta River. Ground-floor boardwalk retail and dining further activate the riverfront and integrate the building into the surrounding public realm.

Australian housing and finance group Equitifund has secured the remaining apartments, believing there are few completed apartment opportunities in Parramatta that offer the same combination of location, amenity and pricing.

Equitifund National Sales Director Ben Hamblett says buyers are increasingly recognising that premium apartment living no longer needs to come with Sydney CBD pricing.

"The Lennox is where aspirational living becomes attainable," Hamblett said.

"Wake to river and mountain views, step into Sydney's Second CBD, and arrive home to resort-calibre amenities, all without the harbour price tag."

Hamblett says owner-occupiers are also attracted by the convenience of having Westfield Parramatta, Church Street's dining precinct, Parramatta Park, Riverside Theatres, Western Sydney University and major transport connections all within walking distance.

"At The Lennox, lifestyle is not an afterthought, it is the foundation."

The apartment price gap drawing Sydney buyers west

A luxury beachfront apartment at Rainbow Bay has more than doubled in value since it sold off the plan six years ago, setting a new local apartment record in the process.

The three-bedroom apartment in the Flow development on Petrie Street, the first of four new projects locally by Paul Gedoun's S&amp;S Projects, has sold for $7.4 million, after originally selling for $3.27 million when the project launched in 2020.

The seventh-floor apartment, comprising 187 sqm of internal living space and a 54 sqm balcony overlooking Froggies Beach and Snapper Rocks, was purchased by a local family.

The transaction was negotiated by Pezet Matheson director Kerry Pezet and equates to more than $30,000 per sqm.

Pezet said the sale reflected the limited opportunities to buy into the boutique beachfront development.

"The sale highlights the rarity of opportunities within the boutique beachfront development, where residences seldom become available," Pezet said.

"Flow is one of the Gold Coast's most tightly held buildings. Buyers from our database move quickly when residences become available, and achieving an off-market sale at $7.4 million demonstrates the depth of demand for property of this calibre."

Flow was the first of four luxury apartment developments delivered by Paul Gedoun's S&amp;S Projects at Rainbow Bay and was completed in 2023.

Positioned on the beachfront overlooking Snapper Rocks, the residence includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room and views stretching north along the coastline towards Surfers Paradise.

Pezet Matheson Residential principal Mitchell Lambert said buyers continued to prioritise quality beachfront apartments in tightly held locations.

"Flow Residences offers a rare combination of elevated beachfront positioning, architectural excellence, comprehensive resident amenity and premium finishes, which is exactly what discerning purchasers are seeking," Lambert said.

Pezet Matheson originally marketed and sold out Flow off the plan, making the latest transaction a return to one of the project's original buyers.

Rainbow Bay apartment doubles in price since off the plan sale during pandemic

The long-planned transformation of Brisbane's historic Shafston Estate has taken another major step, with Capella Hotel Group announced as the luxury hospitality partner behind what will become Brisbane's first branded residences.

The project, to be known as Capella Residences Brisbane, is being delivered by Verso Projects at the landmark Kangaroo Point riverfront estate, with completion targeted for 2029.

The announcement follows a series of planning changes to the project over recent years. The site was originally approved in 2023 for a 15-level, 37-apartment development designed by Rothelowman for Burgundy Group before Verso Projects took over the 10,070 sqm riverfront holding and lodged revised plans with Kerry Hill Architects to increase the development to a 25-level tower with 51 apartments.

The latest announcement confirms Capella Hotel Group will bring its branded residential offering to the project, marking just the second Capella Residences development globally after Seoul, and the group's first branded residential project in Australia.

The <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/23-castlebar-street-kangaroo-point-qld-4169">Castlebar Street development</a> will centre around the restoration of the heritage-listed Shafston House, one of Brisbane's oldest residences, originally constructed in 1851 by Reverend Robert Creyke as a single-storey cottage known as Ravenscott.

Capella said the project aligns with its focus on heritage-led developments, with the Brisbane estate combining the restored historic residence with a new luxury apartment tower and hospitality-inspired resident amenities.

Residents will have access to the Capella Living Room, a concierge-led communal space inspired by the group's luxury hotels, alongside landscaped gardens, six swimming pools, wellness and recreation facilities.

The broader estate will also include two riverfront homes, a six-berth private marina, porte cochère arrival experience, secure basement parking and a new section of public riverwalk along the Brisbane River frontage.

The heritage Postal Depot Building will also be retained and repurposed as a guest house, in line with the revised development plans.

The project represents another evolution for the site, which Kerry Hill Architects previously described as a rare opportunity to restore one of Brisbane's most significant heritage estates while creating a new benchmark for apartment living.

"The Shafston Estate provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to restore one of Brisbane's finest heritage precincts and to reinstate residential use as a unique site perched on the edge of Kangaroo Point," Kerry Hill Architects said in its Urban Context Report accompanying the planning submission.

"The project will celebrate excellence in sub-tropical residential design, setting a new benchmark for vertical living in Brisbane."

Verso Projects, which now has an $8.5 billion development pipeline spanning more than 6,000 dwellings across apartments, townhouses, retail and commercial projects, said the partnership with Capella would elevate the development beyond a traditional residential project.

"We feel honoured to be restoring Shafston Estate to its former glory, elevating it to new heights of luxury and excellence underpinned by Capella's distinctive service ethos and design philosophy, and making it a standout landmark in Brisbane," Verso Projects CEO Steve Laffey said.

"By partnering with Capella, globally recognised for its refined approach to luxury hospitality and deep respect for cultural and historical context, we will elevate this project beyond a residential offering into a world-class destination."

Capella Hotel Group President Roland Fasel said Brisbane's emergence as a global city made it the right location for the company's Australian residential debut.

"Brisbane is a city on the cusp of something remarkable, and Capella Residences is our commitment to being part of that story," Fasel said.

"The Capella residential experience is more than luxury. It is about a sense of belonging to a place with deep meaning."

Private appointments have now opened for the project, with a display suite expected to open in late 2026 ahead of the planned 2029 completion.

Capella to launch Brisbane's first branded residences at Shafston House, Kangaroo Point

Lewis Land's latest apartment release within its <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/harbour-shores-biggera-waters-564-oxley-drive-biggera-waters-qld-4216">Harbour Shores</a> masterplan is targeting one of the Gold Coast's fastest-growing buyer groups, with almost a third of apartments at Solis priced below $1 million.

The seven-storey building at Biggera Waters will comprise 91 apartments, including 24 one-bedroom residences starting from $778,000, a price point Lewis Land says is aimed squarely at first home buyers struggling to enter the Gold Coast market.

<a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/lewis-land-group">Lewis Land</a> Head of Development Michael Long said the developer deliberately allocated a significant proportion of the project to more affordable apartment types.

"First home buyers have been priced out of many parts of the Gold Coast, and we saw a clear opportunity to address this and play our part in a longer-term housing solution," Long said.

"That's why 24 of the 91 apartments being delivered at Solis have been designed and priced for the city's next generation of homeowners, quality one-bedroom apartments, half of which include an additional multipurpose room to maximise space and flexibility.

"This approach places 30 per cent of apartments in Solis under $1 million, and with close proximity to Harbour Town's future light rail extension connecting residents to the city's major employment and knowledge hubs, it's a win for buyers looking to secure their first property."

Designed by BDA Architecture, Solis will deliver a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with residences ranging up to 232 sqm. Apartments feature generous balconies and contemporary finishes, while residents will have access to Harbour Shores' lagoon pool, clubhouse, tennis court, gym, yoga studio and sauna.

The focus on first home buyers resonated with purchaser Holly Humphreys, who said she and her boyfriend spent more than a year searching for their first property before shifting their attention from houses to apartments.

"We fell in love with the first house we bid on and got our hopes up, but after repeated knockbacks we learned not to get too attached," Humphreys said.

"We offered at the high end of price guides, but sales kept going even higher. That's where we really struggled and we needed to re-evaluate our budget and our expectations. Standalone houses were off the table, and we pivoted to apartments and townhouses."

Humphreys said it was encouraging to see developers recognising the growing demand from first home buyers.

"There's a growing number of young buyers looking to enter the market earlier because they understand that getting in now can make a real difference as prices continue to rise," she said.

"It's fantastic to see a developer recognise this and then actively take measures to deliver an apartment with us in mind."

Solis is the first development planned within the second stage of the Harbour Shores masterplan, with early works expected to commence in September 2026.

Lewis Land targets first home buyers at latest Harbour Shores release, Solis

Luxury apartment developer Abadeen has recorded $19.25 million in apartment sales across two of its Lower North Shore developments in the lead-up to the end of the financial year, headlined by the sale of a $6.75 million penthouse at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/buildings/koyo-crows-nest-5-rodborough-avenue-crows-nest-nsw-2065">KOYO in Crows Nest.</a>

The transactions also included the sale of a newly completed three-bedroom apartment at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/buildings/park-residences-cremorne-2-sutherland-street-cremorne-nsw-2090">Park Residences in Cremorne</a> for $6.35 million, with the residence selling shortly after the project's first public inspections following completion.

The sales come as completed, owner-occupier-focused apartments continue to attract strong demand across Sydney's Lower North Shore, particularly from buyers looking for certainty and immediate occupancy.

The penthouse at KOYO spans 491 sqm across a single level and was designed by architect Koichi Takada. The development is one of Abadeen's flagship boutique projects in Crows Nest.

Abadeen Executive Chairman and Founder Justin Brown said buyer activity lifted noticeably in the lead-up to the end of the financial year.

"We saw a clear increase in enquiry levels, inspection numbers and buyer engagement across our completed projects leading into the end of the financial year," Brown said.

"Buyers have become far more decisive over the past six months. The combination of improving confidence, limited supply and the ability to physically inspect completed residences is creating strong competition for premium apartments in the best locations."

Brown says the&nbsp;response to Park Residences following completion has been particularly strong.

"Buyers want certainty and are responding positively to the opportunity to walk through a finished product, inspect the quality firsthand and move in immediately," Brown suggested.

"Projects such as Park Residences and KOYO demonstrate that when the product is exceptional and the location is irreplaceable, buyers are prepared to act quickly."

Abadeen CEO Joe Tack said quality continued to differentiate projects in the current market.

"Today's buyers are incredibly discerning," Tack said.
