The two NSW Southern Riverina stations sold in an off-market deal reportedly worth $60 million. 
Juanbung and Boyong stations span 33,000ha of grazing land, which has been used for backgrounding up to 10,000 cattle a year, and has 55km frontage to the Murrumbidgee River. 
It is also home to one of the largest privately owned River Red Gum forests in the world, and accommodates firewood business Juanbung Mill. 
Juanbung and Boyong stations also benefit from a 13,506ML supplementary water entitlement and incorporate the floodplain delta of the Lachlan River, referred to as Great Cumbung Swamp. 
The properties were reportedly bought by a local group. 
CBRE’s Danny Thomas and Aither’s Chris Olszak sold the properties via a walk-in-walk-out basis on behalf of Roberts-Thompson’s TRT Pastoral Group.
Roberts-Thompson advised the sale would allow TRT Pastoral to focus on building its King Island beef business, as well as its other mainland beef breeding operations.

Blue Sky offloads Gundaline Station in the Riverina

Tarramia, the NSW Riverina estate that was farmed by one of Melbourne's leading businessmen, Sir Clive McPherson, has been sold.
The Mulwala holding has been in the family for over six decades. The buyers are whispered to be Andrew Bouchier and his wife, Ann Marie.
As neighbouring properties were subdivided, McPherson, the prominent agriculturalist, began buying up during the interwar year the local farms, with Tarramia forming a significant part of his land holdings.
Macpherson sat on the board of the pastoral house, Younghusband Ltd, the National Bank, the Commonwealth Bank, Australian Wheat Board and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The McPhersons regularly entertained at the home. Guests included Prime Minister Robert Menzies and his wife, Dame Patty Menzies and the Governor General Sir William and Lady Slim and the Governor of Victoria Sir Dallas Brooks and Lady Brooks.
The local picnic races each year were the occasion for Sir Clive and Marion to entertain a large house party.
The near 2,000 hectare property was expected to sell for $10 million plus.

Two-time AFL North Melbourne premiership player Anthony Stevens has joined Elders Real Estate as a rural estate agent.
He played 279 games for North Melbourne in a 16-year career that included winning premierships in 1996 and 1999. 
He has been appointed as a real estate executive for Victoria and the Riverina region.
His first two listings are in Shepparton and Nagambie.
"I'm making a long-term commitment to my new career and hope to be doing this for the next 20 years or more," he told Fairfax Media.
"I'll look to build on my relationships in the footy world and the corporate world, but I don't expect things to just fall in my lap."
Stevens grew up on his parent's dairy farm near Waaia in rural Victoria and moved to Melbourne when he was 17 to play football.
He owns a 120-hectare cattle farm with his father near Benalla where he breeds Limousin, a French breed and Angus cows.
After retiring from football, he established regional events business Stride in 2007, based in Echuca and Bendigo and more recently he returned to the Kangaroos in a business development role.

The total land value for the Riverina region has increased over the 12 month period to 1 July 2016 by 9.1% from $13.24 billion in 2015 to $14.44 billion in 2016, according to the latest report from the Valuer-General.
The Report on NSW Land Values at 1 July 2016 found that overall land values in the region showed a moderate increase.
Exceptions to this trend were the LGAs of Lockhart (18%), Griffith (13.1%), and Bland (18.1%) where land values increased strongly.
The former LGAs of Gundagai (1.6%) and Murrumbidgee (-1.3%) remained stable overall.
The largest increase in land values in the region was for rural properties, with an overall increase of 11.6%.
The LGAs of Bland (20%), Carrathool (19.7%) and Lockhart (19.5%) experienced the strongest increases.
There was a recent sale of the <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-mixed+farming-nsw-carrathool-7844346" target="_blank">Carrathool farm</a>, Haylock and Katika at an undisclosed price.
Residential land values showed moderate increases overall, however there were strong increases in the Griffith LGA (18.1%), while Coolamon (7.4%) and Junee (7.4%) LGAs experienced moderate increases.
Land values in Murrumbidgee (-8.5%) decreased moderately as supply over the period exceeded demand.
Land values for commercial land increased moderately overall by 5.2%.
Temora (14.6%) and Gundagai (14.4%) LGAs showed the strongest increases due to strength in the local rural and tourism industries.
Industrial land values for the region have remained steady.
Exceptions to this trend were seen in Temora (10%) and Junee (8.1%), which both experienced moderate increases resulting from demand by industries supporting the rural sector.
There were also smaller increases of around 5% in Griffith and Cootamundra.
