It is an eight-storey, 40-apartment seniors living development currently being built at 2 Greenwich Rd.&nbsp;

The project is being developed by the Alceon Group in partnership with NGS Super, which was established in 1988 as an industry super fund for people who work in education and community-focused organisations. Alceon is headed by Trevor Loewensohn and Phil Green.

The 2140 sqm site was bought in late 2019 at $18 million after Northside Group&rsquo;s Greenwich clinic, the second hospital to open under entreprenuer Paul Ramsay in 1973, was closed in 2016.

Artazan Property Group has been appointed the project manager.

Designed by renowned Architects Marchese Partners, all its one, two and three-bedroom apartments will have studies.

The shared facilities include the Club Lounge, with its virtual golf driving range simulator.

There will also be a 10-seat cinema, private dining room, wine cellar and a library with fireplace.&nbsp;

There will be an on-site cafe/restaurant.

Don Lane's former Greenwich Hollywood Hills-style home hits the market

TV presenter Antonia Kidman, the younger sister of actor Nicole Kidman, is seeking tenants for her long-held lower north shore home — which has for some time been an executive rental.
Kidman is now based in Singapore with her businessman husband Craig Marran and their children.
Kidman is seeking a $2500-a-week tenant for the two-level Greenwich home with harbour views, which sits in sprawling 1785 sqm wraparound gardens­ and lawns. It has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, open-plan kitchen and a formal dining area.
SydneySlice Woollahra agent Melanie La Pouple is offering it at the same rental as two years ago, when it had been freshly painted. “It suits a family, large or small,” the marketing says.
The Kidman clan haven’t called Greenwich home since 2009 when they left for Singapore. 
Once dubbed Bisley, the Edwardian-era grand manor was built in 1912 for rifle importer Harry Motton, who had bought the block from Dr Walter Burfitt.
According to Motton’s granddaughter, a time capsule­ was buried in the grounds by a member of the original family. 
Kidman and her late husband, businessman Angus Hawley, paid $4.3 million in 2005 for the home — which was not far from her parents.
The late psychologist and author Dr Antony Kidman and his wife Janelle­ had purchased their 1882 sandstone former drapery shop home in 1998 from Sydney advertising guru Simon Collins for $1.65 million.
Kidman and Hawley, who were married for 11 years, had four children.
She now has two children with Marran.
The family retains a holiday­ home at Whale Beach, which cost $2,025,000 in 2011.
Antonia’s first Sydney property was a hand-me-down, a one-bedroom unit above shops in Mosman which her older sister had secured in 1987.
The elder Kidman had spent $81,000 on the Military Rd unit but when Hollywood and Tom Cruise beckoned, Antonia took up occupancy.
The unit was sold in 1998 for $265,000.

Harbourside Greenwich trophy home set to go under the hammer

The two adjoining properties are being sold by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest owner of private hospitals, which has operated a hospital on the site since 1973.

Savills list Greenwich development site with $30 million hopes

Oxalis Cottage, the humble house in Greenwich that was the longtime home of columnist Ross Campbell and his widow Ruth, was sold for $2,301,000 at auction last weekend.
Campbell, who wrote for the Sunday Telegraph from the mid-1950s through to the 1970s, paid £500 in 1949 for the building block at the end of Coolabah Avenue.
It was up for sale with $2 million plus hopes.
The property was once described by Ross as "a suburban house of 15 squares, including myself".
The name sounds picturesque, but oxalis was the name of a weed that flourished there.
Campbell, who was once suggested as being the Jerry Seinfeld of the times, retired in 1978.
The couple tried to sell the house to go travelling, but only managed to find a buyer for the adjoining garden block.
The son of a Melbourne estate agent died in 1982, while Ruth passed away earlier this year, aged 95. 
<a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/sold/property-house-nsw-greenwich-129042198" target="_blank">Oxalis Cottage</a> was listed by their four children, the home’s celebrity redheaded occupants.
The eldest Sally Campbell is a textile designer, Patrick Campbell is a solar energy scientist, Laura “Nell” Campbell is an actor and former New York nightclub owner, and youngest Cressida Campbell is an artist.
They appeared in his columns which detailed ordinary family life with his four children, known by pseudonyms, Cressida as Baby Pip; Sally was Theodora, Nell was Little Nell and Patrick was Lancelot.
Its been suggested only the Seven Little Australians were a better-known family than the Campbell clan.
Remarkably the the two-storey cottage is a time-capsule, still has the milk bottle servery by the front door. There's a kitchen dining nook.
Campbell once wrote of the rise of refrigerator snobbery with his children asking: "Why hasn't our fridge got a light in it?"
It was editor-in-chief David McNicoll who recruited Campbell to the Telegraph from the Sydney Morning Herald where he felt his levity wasn't wanted.
Three collections of Campbell's columns were published in his lifetime, and his memoir, An Urge To Laugh, was published just before his death.
The neighbours’ children held an 80 cents lemonade stall at the onsite auction which Campbell would have surely made into a column item.

There are plans to initially renovate and rent it out until it is knocked down.
The skeletal remains of a suspected murder victim Shane Snellman were found rolled in carpet inside a bedroom in June with police revealing the corpse had likely been there for at least a decade.
The owner Brian Roberts, who died of a heart attack last year, had bought the freestanding double-brick house on its 557-square-metre block, in 1991 for $200,000. 
The police theory was Snellman, who had suffered several injuries, was trying to rob the house when Roberts killed the intruder.

It was a 1930s bungalow last sold at $1.95 million in 2009.

There were 717 auctions held in Sydney returning a preliminary clearance rate of 59.1 per cent. One year ago, 832 auctions were held and the clearance rate came in at 67.4 per cent.
In Melbourne, a preliminary auction clearance rate of 58.6 per cent was recorded across 898 auctions on the weekend. This time last year, 1,124 auctions were held, returning a clearance rate of 72.3 per cent.

Not far away a 1930s Canterbury changed hands for $1.91 million for the first time after competition between five bidders at its Kay &amp; Burton auction.
Given its one family ownership, Laurel-Leigh, the heritage-protected three-bedroom home <a id="x_mcntLPlnk376881" class="x_mcntOWAAutoLink" href="https://www.realestateview.com.au/real-estate/26-maysia-street-canterbury-vic/property-details-sold-residential-12021336/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-auth="NotApplicable">at 26 Maysia Street</a>, came with intact lead lighting, stucco walls, ornate ceilings, terrazzo flooring and bow window.
Its pre-auction price guidance was $1.7 million to $1.8 million.  
There were five bidders.

On the latest weekend of winter, CoreLogic calculated 1,909 homes were taken to auction across the combined capital cities, up from 1,684 over the previous week. 
"Auction volumes have slowly started to increase over the last couple of weeks however current volumes remain lower than this time last year when 2,270 auctions were held," Corelogic auction analyst Kevin Brogan noted.
"Through winter, the number of homes taken to auction has been tracking roughly 20% lower than a year ago, highlighting a substantial weakening in vendor confidence driven by the softer housing market conditions and consistently lower clearance rates."
Preliminary results show a clearance rate of 57.9 percent this week, increasing from last week’s final clearance rate of 53.3 per cent, although this will revise as the remaining results are collected. 
Over the same week last year the final clearance rate was 68.3 percent.
Canberra's 66.7 percent weekend clearance rate result was the top selling capital city.
