Sydney developer <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/deicorp">Deicorp</a> has secured planning approval for a $300 million residential development in Lindfield, marking the company’s second project on Sydney’s North Shore and its first on the Upper North Shore.

Located on Beaconsfield Parade and designed by DKO Architecture, the state significant development comprises three buildings of up to 10 storeys and will include 399 residences, including 59 affordable homes and 40 adaptable homes.

Residences will range in size from one, two and three bedrooms, with two-bedroom apartments accounting for over 60 per cent of the product make-up. Residents will have access to a broad suite of amenities, including a wellness area, indoor and outdoor recreational spaces, a pool, a gym, a community room and a golf simulator.

In line with Deicorp’s long-standing focus on creating transit-oriented communities, the project is located just 260 metres from the Lindfield Train Station, reinforcing its role in delivering well-connected housing close to established infrastructure, retail and local services.

Mirvac General Manager of Residential Development NSW, Toby Long said the opportunity to own a Smart-designed, Mirvac terrace home in a neighbourhood where new construction tends towards apartments not houses, would satisfy the interest from buyers in search of high-end homes at Green Square.

Infinity by Crown Group at Green Square has taken out yet another major industry award, this time the Urban Developer’s Development of the Year in its high density residential category. 

The tightly held complex has a limited number of apartments with studios priced from $639,000, and two-bedroom apartments from $1,269,000.

Penthouses are for sale, with prices available on request at the 301 Botany Road, Zetland landmark.  

The accolade follows two major wins for the project last month, when it earned the most innovative development in the Urban Taskforce development excellence awards and the HIA NSW apartment complex at the 2020 HIA-CSR NSW housing and kitchen &amp; bathroom awards.

Infinity by Crown Group at Green Square takes out the Urban Developer’s Development of the Year award in its high density residential category

Landcom and Mirvac Group have neared completion of OVO at Green Square, which more than 600 residents set to call the landmark building home. 
It was designed by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (FJMT) design director, Richard Francis-Jones.
It is the second Landcom and Mirvac building to be completed at Green Square, following the completion of Ebsworth in early 2017 in the transformed former industrial area.
Designed by FJMT in partnership with Mirvac Design, OVO features a distinctive ellipsoid-shaped tower taking advantage of the prime views of the city.
The façade of the building has one of the most complex colour, detail and manufacturing systems Mirvac has delivered, including 1,800 panels in 134 different shapes and 17 different colours.
Mirvac’s CEO Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz said OVO was the gateway to the heart of the Green Square Town Centre, on the corner of Bourke Street and Ebsworth Street.
Green Square’s high street along Ebsworth Street now features a 2,000 square metre Woolworths supermarket and The Social Corner - a community space and cafe.  
Later this year, the City of Sydney will open the civic plaza and library, with more amenities, such as parks and an aquatic centre, set to open in the coming years. 
This has followed the completion of a $32 million community and cultural precinct, complete with a three-storey creative centre, which opened in May 2018.
It as in April 2015 when Mirvac sold 221 apartments on the opening weekend. 
Pricing on the apartments in the 28-storey tower was equivalent to the last two towers the developer had sold in the same burgeoning new precinct.
Rates on level 12 were around $13,000 per square metre, with lower floors cheaper and higher floors dearer. 
Studios were priced from $650,000, with first home buyers paying more than $700,000 for a one bedroom apartment without parking, and two bedroom apartments with one bathroom in the $900,000 range and going up in Ovo, which occupies a prominent gateway location at 956-960 Bourke Street.
Designed by architect Richard Francis-Jones in an elliptical shape, the curving, 28-storey tower features a larger mix of three-bedroom apartments with layouts designed to appeal to households with children.
Some apartments have a bathroom for every bedroom. 
When fully completed around 2030, Green Square’s total population could reach 53,000, according to planning estimates.

All set for the tallest building at Green Square as OVO celebrates completion

Residents have been welcomed into Ebsworth, the first apartment building to be completed as part of the $8bn Green Square Town Centre development.
Developed by Mirvac and UrbanGrowth NSW, the building is situated on Ebsworth Street.
The town centre anchors a broader $13 billion Green Square urban renewal precinct which spans 287 hectares.

The new town centre will deliver much needed retail and community amenity for inner Sydney, as well as jobs and over 30,500 new dwellings. A total of 61,000 people are expected to live in Green Square by 2030.

Ebsworth offers residents inner-city living, incorporating a diverse range of layouts. It is comprised of 174 one, two and three bedroom apartments with construction completed on schedule earlier this year.
Most residents have already settled and are moving into their new homes. The buyers are a mix of investors, owner occupiers and first home buyers.
Ebsworth residents will enjoy access to high quality amenities including a new Woolworths supermarket on the ground floor of the building opening mid-year, as well as landscaped parks, playing fields, a civic plaza and library, and an aquatic centre to be completed progressively by the City of Sydney.

Three pedestrian only streets are planned for Green Square’s town centre to help make walking the best way to get around Sydney’s fastest growing urban precinct.
Fellmonger Place to the north of the plaza will become an ‘eat street’ filled with cafes and restaurants, while parts of Hinchcliffe and Barker Streets will be traffic free, providing paved links the heart of the town centre. Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the City was future-proofing the area by giving walking and cycling infrastructure top priority.    “Walking will be the quickest, easiest and most pleasant way to explore the Green Square neighbourhood, so we’re doing all we can to create wide, accessible footpaths, surrounded by trees and gardens, with quiet backstreets for locals and visitors to explore,” the Lord Mayor said.   “Planning Green Square from the ground up means we have a unique opportunity to put people first and create a main street that’s wide and comfortable for walkers, riders and drivers.    “Most people don’t realise that the heart of Green Square is only three kilometres, a 40-minute walk from Central, making walking or riding a bike a great transport option.”   The City has committed $540 million over 10 years for the delivery of the town centre, a 13-hectare site that will become the community’s epicentre. Roughly the same size as Hyde Park, residents and visitors will be able to walk across the town centre in about 10 minutes.   Zetland Avenue, Green Square’s 36-metre-wide tree lined boulevard provides pedestrians and cyclists with generous footpaths and separated off road cycleways, centrally located to link people directly between the creative arts hub, parklands, the aquatic centre, the library and plaza, and onto the Green Square railway station and retail /commercial areas. The close proximity of all new community facilities makes walking and cycling the easiest and most time effective transport options.   Surrounding streets will have their own unique character with high-quality permanent and temporary artworks, creating attractive opportunities to walk or cycle through the area. More than 60,000 people will move into 30,500 new homes in Green Square by 2030, making it Australia’s densest residential area.  Work on the town centre’s streets has started and will continue over the next three years as the rest of the area is developed.
