Sydney developer <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/deicorp">Deicorp</a> has secured planning approval for a $300 million residential development in Lindfield, marking the company’s second project on Sydney’s North Shore and its first on the Upper North Shore.

Located on Beaconsfield Parade and designed by DKO Architecture, the state significant development comprises three buildings of up to 10 storeys and will include 399 residences, including 59 affordable homes and 40 adaptable homes.

Residences will range in size from one, two and three bedrooms, with two-bedroom apartments accounting for over 60 per cent of the product make-up. Residents will have access to a broad suite of amenities, including a wellness area, indoor and outdoor recreational spaces, a pool, a gym, a community room and a golf simulator.

In line with Deicorp’s long-standing focus on creating transit-oriented communities, the project is located just 260 metres from the Lindfield Train Station, reinforcing its role in delivering well-connected housing close to established infrastructure, retail and local services.

The inclusion of affordable and adaptable housing supports greater diversity within the local market, while the mix of apartment types responds to demand from downsizers, young professionals and families seeking access to the Upper North Shore.

Trump Hotel heads for the Gold Coast to become Australia's tallest building

More than a century after the Corrimal Coke Works first opened in 1912, the industrial landmark that helped shape the suburb is being reinterpreted as a walkable residential neighbourhood, with Stage One of <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/the-works-stage-one-27-railway-street-corrimal-nsw-2518">The Works</a> now underway at 27 Railway Street.

Like father like son, Michael Palmer has been busy buying prestige Brisbane property.
The mining entrepreneur's scion has spent $5.1 million on a Fig Tree Pocket riverfront home.
It is just two doors along from his dad, the mining entrepreneur Clive Palmer.
The one hectare property sits across the road from Michael's current west Brisbane acreage which cost $1.85 million in 2016.
The five bedroom home has a 6,000 bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar, gym and sauna and a tennis court and pool.
The property hit the market this time two years ago and initially sought over $7 million.
Earlier this year Clive Palmer spent $7.5 million Rivergum Retreat, the Fig Tree Pocket home of Linc Energy founder Peter Bond who had wanted $12 million when it first went up for sale back in 2016.
Bond had spent $9.5 million in 2008.
The 28 year old Michael's other properties include a couple of houses in Paradise Point, where there are five homes owned by the Palmer clan on the dress circle King Arthurs Court.

Mining entrepreneur's scion Michael Palmer buys Fig Tree Pocket riverfront home

It had been on the market with an asking price of more than $8 million.
There were more than 140 inspections during the Ray White campaign.
The vendor is Peter Bond, the founder of the failed Linc Energy Group, who paid $9.5 million for the luxury waterfront in 2008.
The luxury waterfront has a 132m of water frontage to the Brisbane River, nine bathrooms and seven parking spots.
Clive Palmer, whose company Mineralogy in November won a claim for $US150m in unpaid royalties against two Citic Pacific subsidiaries, was a rumoured buyer.
The Australian reported last month the rumoured acquisition by Clive Palmer, along with Palmer's denial. 
News Ltd later reported Palmer made an offer of $7.4 million.
The Brisbane home of the mining magnate Peter Bond and wife Louise had been listed for sale in 2016.
Bond and his wife, Louise, took the property to auction in August last year, where they knocked back a bid of $9.25 million.
They bought it for a cut price $9.5 million in 2009 after it had spent over two years on the market.
It had initially been listed for $12 million by Zoe Cheihk, wife of developer George Cheihk.
The homestead encompasses a vast 1956 sqm of floor space and has seven bedrooms, nine bathroom and three home offices.

He's sold the Ningana Street road home (above) for $2.99 million, nearly $750,000 less than the $3.75 million he paid with wife Louise in 2010.

The sale still scored the highest price for a non-waterfront home in the area in nearly two years.
Set on 12,600 sqm, the home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and sits in gardens with a swimming pool and tennis court.
It was bought by a Chinese buyer who intends to relocate and live in the home.
Bond owns the neighbouring home Rivergum Retreat, which has been on the market since late last year (below).
