Melbourne developer Spacious Group has completed Voyage Altona, one of the closest new apartment developments to Altona Beach.

Off the plan purchasers have started moving into the 49-apartment project on Pier Street, with the remaining move-in-ready one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments starting from just over $500,000.

Display apartments have now been fitted out, allowing prospective buyers to inspect the completed residences by appointment.

Gold Coast City Council has approved Lýon Residences, a 32-level tower that will deliver 178 two and three-bedroom apartments across a prominent corner site at 8-10 Acacia Avenue and 25-27 Oak Avenue.

Homecorp Founder and CEO Ron Bakir said Budds Beach provided the ideal location for the company's latest luxury apartment project.

Iwan Sunito's vision for a landmark mixed-use precinct in Sydney's Inner West has taken a major step forward, with approval granted for the $1.9 billion Five Dock development first unveiled earlier this year.

The approved scheme by <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/one-global-capital">One Global Capital</a> will deliver an 80,500 sqm mixed-use precinct comprising 840 apartments, integrated hotel accommodation, commercial and retail space, alongside publicly accessible open space designed to create a new destination for the growing suburb.

"This is a significant milestone for One Global Capital and for the future of housing delivery in Sydney," Sunito said.

"The Housing Delivery Authority was established to identify major housing projects capable of delivering meaningful supply more efficiently, and we are delighted that Spencer Street has been recognised as one of those projects.”

He said the declaration reflected the rapid progress achieved since acquiring control of the site.

"In less than seven months we have progressed from taking control of the site to securing entry into one of the NSW Government's most important planning pathways. The development has evolved since its initial announcement, with the approved plans increasing the residential component from the originally proposed 750 apartments to 840 homes while retaining the project's focus on creating an integrated neighbourhood rather than a standalone residential development.

The approval comes as Five Dock continues its transformation ahead of the opening of the Sydney Metro West line, with the new Five Dock station set to significantly improve connections between the Inner West, Parramatta and the Sydney CBD.&nbsp;

They are well known in Melbourne for its stonemason business.
Bidding began at $5 million from Grant Cohen, whose family own The Block arcade with the property called on the market at $6.5 million.
The corner 421 Bourke Street building, which dates back more than 150 years, last traded in 1976 at $295,000.
It was sold at a building rate of more than $25,000 per square metre.
It followed the closure of tenants, Kozminsky in March this year after 165 years in business. 
The building was listed by the Shaw family through CBRE.
The property was built as as a single-storey bluestone office for the stock and station agents Kaye Butchart &amp; Co in 1859.
Bourke Street's last sale was earlier this year when the vacated home of Society restaurant sold for $8.07 million.

After-school and vacation care service OSHCare Pty Ltd has leased a heritage building in a waterfront location at Balmain in inner western Sydney where an Australian cult movie was shot.
The historic, two-storey sandstone building at <a href="https://raywhitecommercialinnerwest.com.au/nsw/balmain/937521/" target="_blank">101 Mort Street</a> was used to film parts of the 1974 Australian biker movie ‘Stone’.

A local developer has bought a development site for $9 million in Melbourne’s leafy inner eastern suburb of Hawthorn with plans for a mixed use/apartment and retail project.
The <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-residential+land-vic-hawthorn-201789426" target="_blank">2-4 Roche Street</a> property was sold through Savills after an expressions of interest campaign.
Selling agent Clinton Baxter, who brokered the deal with Nick Peden and Jesse Radisich, said the sold for close to $7500 a square metre, well above expectations.
Baxter said the competition for the property reflected the strong competition for a development opportunity in one of Melbourne’s highly regarded residential pockets.
“The sale is a demonstration of the voracious appetite of developers seeking to secure sites suitable for boutique apartment projects in the leafy inner eastern suburbs,’’ Baxter said.
The property was sold subject to monthly leases to two tenants, who occupy the two double storey buildings, at a current annual rental of $105,000, with vacant possession available on 60 days notice.

Developer couple Lance Chu and Chenghan Tan, who run SC Land, have sold off their South Yarra, Melbourne, headquarters for $9.5 million.
It was on a tight 4 per cent yield.
The <a href="https://www.realcommercial.com.au/property-offices-vic-south+yarra-502399498" target="_blank">36-40 Toorak Road</a> property, which the couple bought in 2007 for $3.7 million, was redeveloped, according to The Australian Financial Review.

The 926-930 High Street property in Melbourne’s inner suburb of Armadale is in a high-profile retail strip and close to affluent suburbs. 
The seven-day trading nature of the area are expected to be key drawcards for investors, according to agents Josh Rutman, Rorey James and Lewis Tong of CBRE, who are marketing the property.

Parramatta Road, Haberfield development site sold for $13 million

A four storey retail and commercial building with three street frontages in the Sydney northern suburb of Hornsby is on the market.
The 108 George Street property features 4,397 sqm of lettable space and has a ground floor retail showroom, three levels of commercial or office accommodation and three levels of basement parking for 86 vehicles.

Hornsby retail building to hit the market

One of the largest single-hold pieces of land in Crows Nest in Sydney’s North Shore precinct has been snapped up by a locally-based Chinese developer for $22 million.
The 39-47 Albany Street property is currently the headquarters of Warner Music Australia Pty Ltd until 2022.
It was sold on a yield of nearly 4 percent.
The medium-term development site sold at a yield of circa 4%. 
The sale was managed by Knight Frank on behalf of a local fund manager Pindan Capital to Sun Property.
The state government’s proposed new train station will only increase the density and development of the area, added Hu.
The property is zoned B4 Mixed Use, with a Weighted Average Lease Expiry of 4.5 years, and has a net lettable area of 3,286 square metres.
The property is also situated within minutes’ walk to the Crows Nest retail precinct; the proposed railway station; Crows Nest Plaza and Woolworths supermarket. 
Established in 2010, Sun Property focuses on development projects in Sydney’s Lower North Shore is currently working on nine projects.
