Privacy, room for guests and usable living space tend to matter more when an apartment is intended as a permanent home rather than an occasional coastal base.

From outside, those projecting forms contribute to the tower’s faceted profile. Strong horizontal and vertical elements establish its proportions, while the changing position of the sun alters the light, shadow and reflection across the façade throughout the day.

The same attention moves inside the apartments, where the material palette combines warm timber, natural stone, metallic detailing and softer curved forms. Kitchens sit within the main living zone, with stone island benches, integrated joinery and European appliances, before the living areas extend towards the glazing and the outlook.

Three genuine bedrooms provide room to accommodate family and guests, while two secure car spaces and storage address some of the practical considerations that can become more noticeable when moving from a larger home. Feedback from the display suite has centred on the warmth and restraint of the interiors, with buyers commenting that the residences feel like homes rather than conventional coastal apartments.

A limited collection of half-floor penthouses occupies the upper levels, increasing the scale of the living spaces and adding private balconies and elevated finishes. From this position, the outlook extends between the ocean and hinterland.

The Surf Parade site brought together proximity to the beach, protected coastal outlooks and walkability to dining, shopping and recreation. The Eveleigh is now under construction by Maxcon, with completion forecast for mid-2028. Three-bedroom residences are currently available from $2.87 million.

The Eveleigh brings house-like apartments to Broadbeach

A long-stalled Campbelltown development site is back in play, with new plans for 139 apartments set to supersede a mixed-use scheme approved almost a decade ago but never built.

The new proposal for 28 Cordeaux Street would deliver 116 market and 23 affordable apartments in a part 14-storey building, bringing a substantial new project into a Campbelltown market where new apartment supply remains limited.

Plans have been filed over the 3,092 sqm corner site at Moore-Oxley Street, around 600 metres from Campbelltown Railway Station and the city-centre retail core.

The site already carries a mixed-use residential approval dating to 2016. Doroch Architects has now been engaged on a larger replacement scheme, which is progressing as a State Significant Development Application following a Housing Delivery Authority determination in August 2025.

The apartment mix comprises 39 one-bedroom, 72 two-bedroom and 28 three-bedroom residences. Two-bedroom apartments make up just over half of the project, while three-bedroom homes account for 20 per cent.

Of the 139 apartments, 23 will be delivered as affordable housing under the in-fill affordable housing provisions of the Housing SEPP. The affordable component represents 15 per cent of the residential gross floor area and will be managed by a registered Community Housing Provider.

Doroch has sought to break the scale of the building into two distinct elements, with a masonry podium of around four storeys establishing the street edge before the residential tower steps back above.

The corner position has shaped that approach. Cordeaux Street faces toward the commercial and civic centre, while Moore-Oxley Street leads into the lower-scale residential neighbourhood to the south, and the design verification report describes the site as "bridging the commercial core to the north and established residential areas to the south."

The podium will be expressed predominantly in face brick, while the upper levels shift to brushed and grooved concrete cladding with darker metal detailing. Recessed sections, deep balcony edges and landscaping break down the upper form, with an approximately 11.8-metre setback to the northern boundary addressing the adjoining St Peters Anglican School.

Campbelltown has been starved of new residential developments in the last decade.

The only other notable development set to come to market this year is ALAND's Queen Square, a mixed-use precinct on over two hectares that will comprise apartments above a vibrant ground-level retail and hospitality dining precinct.

First Look: Sherlock Construction pitches apartments for low-rise Deception Bay

Queensland builder-developer MAYD has revealed the first look at its major North Kirra beachfront development, lodging amended plans that reduce the number of apartments and increase the proportion of larger residences.

The project is planned across a substantial 4,742 sqm amalgamated site spanning seven lots at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/2-6-pacific-parade-bilinga-qld-4225">2-6 Pacific Parade</a> and 27-33 Golden Four Drive in Bilin​ga, directly opposite Nor​th Kirra Beach.

<a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/mayd-group">MAYD</a> secured the site for $32.5 million in 2025, in what was one of the Gold Coast's largest property transactions of the year.

The development will be delivered across two stages, with the first stage carrying an estimated gross realisation value of around $360 million.

The latest amendments seek to reduce the overall apartment count and shift the project further toward the owner-occupier market, with larger residences designed for buyers wanting considerably more space than traditionally offered in a beachfront apartment.

The residential mix will include townhomes, oversized two-bedroom apartments, substantial three-bedroom residences and four-bedroom homes.

MAYD has appointed Cera Stribley to lead the architecture and interiors, with the Melbourne-based design practice drawing on the beachfront setting through a series of ocean-facing terraces and heavily landscaped balconies.

Strong horizontal forms and curved balconies will define the exterior, with subtropical landscaping integrated throughout the building to soften the built form and increase the connection between the residences and the beachfront.

The project will also include an extensive collection of resident wellness and lifestyle facilities, continuing the broader shift across the Gold Coast's luxury apartment market toward larger homes supported by resort-style amenity.

MAYD Founder Todd Mould said North Kirra was increasingly appealing to buyers attracted to the more established, lower-density character of the southern Gold Coast.

"North Kirra presents one of the most compelling luxury residential opportunities currently emerging in Australia, combining absolute beachfront with the character and authenticity that buyers are increasingly seeking, and the same sense of tight-knit community that defined Burleigh and Currumbin perhaps 10 or 15 years ago," Mould said.

"With Gold Coast Airport on its doorstep, it also offers a level of accessibility that broadens its appeal across almost every market demographic."

The project comes as the southern Gold Coast continues to attract an increasing share of high-end apartment development and buyer activity.

Kirra in particular has emerged as one of the region's more tightly held beachfront markets, with its relatively low-density character, established surf and hospitality scene and proximity to Gold Coast Airport differentiating it from the higher-density markets further north.

Mould said those characteristics had informed the approach MAYD and Cera Stribley had taken to the project.

"We've worked closely with Cera Stribley to create a vision that is deeply connected to its surroundings," he said.

"Inspired by the coastline itself, the architecture has been shaped around space, privacy and resort-style living, creating a collection of homes that reflects the next generation of luxury on the southern Gold Coast."

MOTIV Managing Director Carly Cottam, who has been appointed to market the project, said buyer attention had continued to move south along the Gold Coast.

"Purchasers who may once have defaulted to Broadbeach, Main Beach or Surfers Paradise are increasingly recognising the value of a genuine beachfront location that offers lower density, strong amenity and a more established sense of community," Cottam said.

"Kirra has a powerful combination of growing demand and genuine scarcity. Beachfront supply is inherently constrained, the area remains relatively low density, and buyers are increasingly placing a premium on locations that feel established, uncrowded and authentic rather than heavily developed."

Cottam said the proximity to Gold Coast Airport was also proving increasingly important for interstate and second-home buyers.

"Being minutes from Gold Coast Airport makes it particularly compelling for interstate buyers, frequent travellers and second-home purchasers who can access an authentic coastal lifestyle almost immediately after stepping off a flight."

The acquisition takes MAYD's active development portfolio to more than $500 million, with the North Kirra project representing one of its largest undertakings to date.

MAYD is targeting an early 2027 launch.

First look at MAYD's North Kirra mixed-use precinct

Castle Hill, the longtime hub of the Hills District, has been one of the major beneficiaries of Sydney's Metro expansion, with improved connectivity helping drive continued population growth, development and buyer demand across the Hills District.

But despite that growth, the suburb has seen relatively few major new apartment projects brought to market over the past 18 months.

Hills District developer Reve Group is looking to fill that gap with <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/nova-r-ve-castle-hill-2-garthowen-crescent-castle-hill-nsw-2154">Nova Rêve</a>, a major new mixed-use precinct on the corner of Garthowen Crescent and Old Castle Hill Road, a short walk from Castle Hill Metro Station and Castle Towers.

The project will comprise three residential towers alongside a hotel, restaurants, cafes and a skybar, more than 1,600 sqm of ground-floor retail and almost an acre of landscaped gardens.

It represents the largest project undertaken by Reve Group, the development arm of the Kassis family, which has been building across the Hills District for more than 30 years through Kassis Homes.

Nova Rêve also represents a significant step up from the family's first apartment development, Grand Rêve, which was delivered nearby on Garthowen Crescent.

Grand Rêve introduced larger, house-like apartment layouts and premium inclusions including Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances to the Castle Hill market.

Nova Rêve takes that approach to a precinct scale, combining the residential component with hospitality, retail and substantial public and resident landscaping.

Reve Group Managing Director Sam Kassis said the project reflected the family's three decades of building in the Hills, which has evolved from trophy homes on quarter-acre blocks to larger-scale apartment development.

"Grand Rêve was our first apartment project here and it showed us what this pocket of Castle Hill could be. Nova Rêve is the refinement of that idea: not just apartments, but a place the whole suburb can use," Kassis said.

A key part of that approach is the hotel, which has been designed to operate as an amenity for the wider Castle Hill community rather than solely hotel guests.

It will include restaurants, cafes, skybars and all-day dining, alongside conference and event facilities catering to business functions, community groups and private events.

At ground level, more than 1,600 sqm of shops and cafes will open onto the surrounding streets and landscaped areas.

Almost an acre of gardens designed by Land and Form Studios will run through the precinct, incorporating pathways, seating, barbecue areas and children's play spaces.

Reve Group's Romio Georges said creating an active ground plane had been central to the planning of Nova Rêve.

"There are gardens with pathways, barbecues, seating and play areas, shops and cafes opening onto the street, and a hotel with restaurants and a skybar that anyone in Castle Hill can walk into," Georges said.

The project's elevated position on one of Sydney's highest ridgelines will also provide apartments with outlooks toward the Sydney skyline, surrounding parkland and the Blue Mountains.

More than 80 per cent of the apartments will occupy corner positions, with Turner responsible for both the architecture and interiors.

Melbourne is set to hold the biggest auction weekend so far this year with more than 1,500 homes slated for auction, according to the REIV.
The REIV state 1,420 homes across 341 suburbs going to auction on Saturday. 
Joseph Walton, REIV president, said the 2017 auction market is one of the strongest in recent years with volumes up 13 percent on the same period last year. 
“Multiple auction records fell in February when more than 3,200 homes went to auction and close to 2,570 sold under the hammer,” he said.
“High auction volumes have continued throughout March with the current clearance rate of 79 percent signalling ongoing buyer and vendor confidence.
"The solid start to the year followed the strongest December in the state’s history – in terms of both auction volumes and sales. 
“The 2016 auction market remained buoyant right up until Christmas eve with low interest rates and high clearance rates encouraging more vendors to sell their homes well after the traditional spring selling season."

Bumper weekend auction market for Melbounre

Auction results continue their strong run into March, with Sydney and Melbourne recording an 80% clearance rate over the first week of the month, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.
The property data firm says that after recording the strongest result since June 2015 last week, the preliminary clearance rate across the combined capital cities fell slightly this week, from 78.4% to 77.8%, based on preliminary results.
The number of auctions held across the capitals this week was lower, with 2,714 held, compared to 3,301 over the previous week which was a record high for February.
In comparison, over the corresponding week last year, both the combined capital city clearance rate and the number of auctions were lower, with 2,304 auctions held and 68.6% reported as successful.
Sydney saw the clearance rate remain above 80% for the fourth week in a row, and Melbourne for the second week in a row, while across the remaining cities; week-on-week results show a fall in clearance rates with the exception of Perth where results improved, and Tasmania, which remained unchanged over the week.

This week, Melbourne was host to 1,399 auctions and preliminary results show a clearance rate of 80.4%, down slightly from last week’s final clearance rate of 81.0% across 1,635 auctions.
At the same time last year, Melbourne’s clearance rate was 72.1%, with 1,236 auctions held across the city.
Looking at Melbourne’s sub-regions, the Inner region was the busiest for auctions across Melbourne with 295 homes going under the hammer, followed by Inner South (260) and Inner East (179).

The North East region was the best performer in terms of Melbourne clearance rates, with an 87.6% success rate across 133 auctions.
Sydney’s preliminary auction clearance rate increased to 80.5% from 80.0% last week, the 4th week in a row where clearance rates have been at or above 80%.
Auction volumes were lower this week with 886 homes taken to auction, compared to 1,210 last week.
The city maintains a much higher clearance rate than what was seen over the same week last year, when a clearance rate of 68.7% was recorded across 708 auctions.
This week, the performance across Sydney’s individual sub regions was varied.

Across the South West region, where 47 results have been reported so far, the preliminary clearance rate was 66%, while across City and Inner South (88%) and Northern Beaches (88%), the success rate of reported auctions was much higher.
Across Brisbane, the preliminary clearance rate was 59% this week, down from 62% last week and higher than one year ago (50%).
Auction volumes were also down with 148 auctions held across Brisbane this week, compared to 176 last week and a lower 133 last year.

A total of 120 auctions were held in Adelaide this week, down from 122 last week, although higher than last year (99).
Preliminary results for the week show 69% sold, down from 71% last week when the city recorded the highest clearance rate for the year to date.

This week 36 Perth auctions were held with 11 results reported so far.
Canberra’s clearance rate fell to 70% this week, after being recorded at 76% last week.
There were 116 auctions held across Canberra this week, up from 103 last week.
One year ago, 67% of Canberra’s 88 auctions cleared.
There were nine Tasmanian auctions held this week and with seven results reported so far this week, four have sold.

Auction results strong with 80% clearance for Sydney and Melbourne: CoreLogic

Sydney's combined auction clearance rate has bounced back above 80 percent, wiht the Lower North recording the highest auction clearance rate at 95.1 percent, according to Domain's Andrew Wilson.
Despite lower listings, Melbourne's Moomba long weekend holiday auctions gave a strong result.
Melbourne's Saturday clearance rate of 79.2 percent was down from the 80.6 percent recorded the weekend before.
Andrew Wilson said Melbourne’s weekend clearance rate has averaged 79.7 percent since the season began in earnest in February which is the best start to the auction year since 2010. 
"Some 258 homes were listed for auction in Melbourne on Saturday which was lower than the 1182 auctioned the previous weekend and also lower than the 342 auctioned over the same holiday weekend last year," he said.
"Auction numbers will be sharply higher next Saturday as the market moves back to normal mode with just under 1200 homes set to go under the hammer. 
"Melbourne’s booming north continues to record the highest regional clearances and was joined this holiday weekend by the inner east that also recorded a similar super-strong result. 
"The north reported a weekend clearance rate of 93.3 percent with 14 sales out of 15 reported followed by the inner east 90.0 percent, the inner south 84.6 percent, the south east 80.0 percent, the north east 77.8 percent, the west 7.8 percent and the highest sales at 28, the outer east 74.1 percent and the inner city with a clearance rate of 69.2 percent
"Sydney auction market has bounced back strongly following last weekend’s month-low result with higher numbers of listings still proving simply irresistible to buyers.
"Sydney recorded a clearance rate of 82.9 percent on Saturday which was higher than the previous weekend’s 78.4 percent and well ahead of the 76.3 percent recorded over the same weekend last year.

Weekend auctions up, Port Macquarie tops NSW numbers: CoreLogic

The Melbourne and Sydney auction market in Sydney is strong leading into this weekend's spring Super Saturday sales given the current weekend results.
Domain's Andrew Wilson said the Sydney auction has maintained its boom-time seller momentum during spring, despite the usual surge in late season listing numbers.
"More than 760 homes were scheduled to go under the hammer on Saturday, which was similar to the previous weekend’s figures but again lower than the 863 listed over the same weekend last year," he said.
"Sydney recorded a weekend clearance rate of 79.5 percent, which was similar to the previous Saturday’s 80.4 percent and significantly higher than the 57.5 percent recorded over the same weekend last year.
"The inner suburban and higher-priced suburban regions again produced exceptional results at the weekend, with a number of clearance rates exceeding 90 percent.
"The top performer was the ever-reliable inner west with a 91 per cent result, followed by the northern beaches with 90.5 percent, the city and east with 90.2 percent and the highest sales at 74, the lower north with 84.4 percent, the north-west with 81.5 percent, the upper north shore with 79.4 percent, the south with 74.3 percent, Canterbury Bankstown with 73.9 percent, the west with 69.7 percent, the south-west with 63.3 percent and the central coast with 58.8 percent. 
"Melbourne’s 78.7 percent result was higher than the 77.6 percent recorded the previous weekend and significantly ahead of the 66.3 percent reported over the same weekend last year.
"Late spring auction numbers have increased sharply since the Melbourne Cup holiday weekend, with the usual rush to market by sellers who want to get in before the year ends. Higher listings have contributed to a slight easing in clearance rates in recent weeks, but results remain firmly in favour of sellers in what remains strong local market conditions.
"Next weekend will present the local market with its biggest test of the spring selling season, with nearly 1400 homes set to go under the hammer. 
"Melbourne’s western suburbs continue to record boom-time results, with a leading regional clearance rate of 86.2 percent and the highest sales at 119. The next highest was the inner south with 81.7 percent, closely followed by the outer east and the south-east each with 81.1 percent, then the north with 79.7 percent, the north-east with 76.5 percent, the inner east with 75 percent and the inner city with a clearance rate of 73.7 percent."

Auction market maintaining momentum leading into Super Saturday

There has been a substantial increase in scheduled auctions this week relative to the 853 auctions last week, with CoreLogic tracking 2,161 auctions across the combined capital cities this week.
In both Sydney and Melbourne, the two major auction markets, auction activity is up week-on-week, with 1,085 Melbourne auctions scheduled and 731 homes set to be taken to auction across Sydney.
Despite a surge in scheduled auctions, there are fewer than the 3,016 which occurred a year ago.
Across the smaller cities, auction activity is higher across each of those cities than it was a week ago.
Capital city auctions this week:
• Sydney: 731
• Melbourne: 1,085
• Brisbane: 150
• Adelaide: 95
• Perth: 30
• Canberra: 60
Reservoir in Melbourne is the busiest individual suburb for auctions across the nation this week, with 20 residential homes set to go under the hammer.
Glen Waverley is also quite bust with 17 auctions whilst Bentleigh East, Essendon, Mount Waverley and Pascoe Vale each have 14 scheduled auctions.

Summary of last week’s results:
Capital city auction clearance rates increased last week to 75.8 percent on the back of low volumes due to long weekends and the AFL and NRL grand finals. Last week there were 872 capital city auctions, down from 2,480 the previous week.
Melbourne’s auction clearance rate was recorded at 87.2 percent last week, up from 77.2 percent the previous week. In Sydney, the final results show an auction clearance rate of 82.5 percent up from 80.4 percent over the previous week.
The low volumes resulted in higher clearance rates across both of the largest auction markets and pushed clearance rates above 90 per cent in many regions of both cities.
Across the smaller auction markets, auction clearance rates were lower last week in all regions except for Perth. Despite the fall, Adelaide has maintained a strong clearance rate above 75 per cent.The Sunshine Coast region was the busiest non- capital city region last week, with 52 auctions, however Wollongong recorded the strongest clearance rate at 78.6 percent.

Scheduled auctions increasing, but still fewer than a year ago: CoreLogic

There are far fewer auctions scheduled across the capital cities this coming weekend, with the NRL and AFL grand finals both scheduled to take place, as well as a number of long weekends, according to CoreLogic's latest market report.
The sharpest fall away in auction volumes is in Melbourne, where, after hosting 1,103 auctions last week, only 74 are currently being tracked.
In Sydney, the fall away is less drastic, with 420 auctions scheduled, compared to 946 last week.
The AFL Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday afternoon in Melbourne, with Victorians enjoying a public holiday on the Friday, while the NRL Grand Final will take place in Sydney on Sunday evening.
Outside of Sydney and Melbourne, auction activity is lower on a week-on-week basis in all other cities. Brisbane is the only city that isn’t showing a major fall in auction activity, down from 144 last week to 104 this week.

Given Melbourne’s auction market is much quieter this week, it is no surprise that the busiest suburbs across the nation for auctions are in Sydney, with Randwick (11) and Mosman (10) topping the list. The busiest suburb for auctions in Victoria this week is Warrnambool, with 9 scheduled.

Summary of last week’s results:
Last week, just over three quarters of all reported auctions were sold (75.4%), representing a slight fall in clearance rates over the week, down from 76.2% the previous week. Auction volumes were up over the week, with 2,480 capital city auctions held.
For the fourth consecutive week, Sydney’s final clearance rate remained above the 80% mark, reported at 80.4%, falling slightly from 81.6% over the previous week.
Despite the rise in auction activity, with 1,103 auctions held across the city, Melbourne’s clearance rate remained stable over the week, at 77.2%.

Outside of the two major auction markets, Adelaide was the strongest performer, with 78.2% of the 119 reported auctions clearing, followed by Canberra at 68.4%.
New South Wales’ Hunter region and Queensland’s Gold Coast both saw a weekly rise in both clearance rates and auction activity last week, while in each of the other three regional markets that CoreLogic monitors, clearance rates were lower over the week.

Grand Final weekend sees auction volume dip: CoreLogic

It has been another strong week for auction activity. There were 2,445 auctions held across the combined capital cities with a preliminary auction clearance rate of 78.3 percent this week, according to CoreLogic's latest report. 
Last week, the final auction clearance rate was recorded at 76.2 percent with 2,149 residential properties taken to auction.
At the same time last year, auction volumes were higher (2,835) with a clearance rate of 69.7 percent. Over the first four weeks of Spring, auction clearance rates have consistently been recorded at a higher rate than over the corresponding weeks last year, while auction volumes remain around 20 percent lower.

In Melbourne, Australia’s largest auction market, 79.1 percent of the 946 reported auctions sold this week. There were 1,090 auctions held across the city this week, up from 965 last week when the final auction clearance rate was 77.8 percent and lower than the 1,201 auctions held one year ago, which returned a lower clearance rate (72.7 percent).
The Inner region of Melbourne had the highest number of auctions this week (224), with a preliminary clearance rate of 75.5 percent. Meanwhile, the strongest clearance rate was 89.7 percent recorded across the Mornington Peninsula region, followed by 83.5 percent across the Inner South region.

Across Sydney, 930 homes were taken to auction this week with a preliminary clearance rate of 84.4 pe cent across 770 reported results. Last week, the final clearance rate for the city was 81.6 percent, across 815 auctions. One year ago, 1,200 Sydney homes were taken to auction and the clearance rate was 71.7 percent.
This week, the performance across Sydney’s individual sub regions was varied. Across the Outer South West region, where 10 results have been reported so far, the preliminary clearance rate was 70.0 percent, while the Central Coast had a 100 percent success rate of the 14 reported auctions.
There were four sub-regions of Sydney where more than 100 auctions were held this week and of these, each recorded a clearance rate in excess of 70 percent, with Eastern Suburbs (88.3 percent) and North Sydney and Hornsby (88.2 percent) the strongest performers.

There were 144 Brisbane homes taken to auction this week, with 103 results reported so far. The preliminary clearance rate for the city is 51.5 percent, up from 48.4 percent last week and lower than one year ago, when 54.9 percent of the 203 properties taken to auction were successful. Across the Gold Coast 29 results have been reported so far, with a success rate of 58.6 percent (17 sales).

This week, Adelaide saw a preliminary clearance rate of 83.9 percent, with 87 reported results across a total of 126 scheduled auctions. This week’s clearance rate is the highest on record for the city, but has the potential to revise lower as more auctions are reported.
In comparison, over the previous week Adelaide’s clearance rate was 74.7 percent with fewer auctions held across the city (95) and 68.1 percent one year ago across virtually the same volume of auctions.

Perth’s clearance rate of 35.1 percent across 49 auctions is down from the previous week, when 39 auctions were held and a clearance rate of 45.2 percent was recorded.  Over the same week last year, the clearance rate was a lower 31.6 percent, and just 25 auctions were held.
In Canberra, 90 auctions were held this week, and of the 73 reported results, 69.9 percent were successful. Last week, 87 auctions were held and the clearance rate was a higher 72.0 percent. This time last year, results were down 58 auctions held and a clearance rate of 58.5 percent.
There were 16 Tasmanian auctions held this week. 4 were reported as sold.

Auction clearance rate remains above 70 percent for the ninth week: CoreLogic

The number of auctions scheduled across the capital cities is virtually unchanged over the week, with CoreLogic currently tracking 1,895 residential auctions, just four fewer than last week.
The difference in weekly activity is more prominent on a city- by-city basis, with the number of auctions scheduled in Melbourne rising this week, from 830 last week to 915 this week, compared to a fall in Sydney auction volumes, from 747 last week to 672 this week.
Outside of Sydney and Melbourne, auction activity will remain steady across Brisbane (137) and Perth (27), while more auctions are expected in Adelaide this week (84), however less across Canberra (56).

This week there are three individual suburbs across Australia where more than 15 auctions will be held and each is located in Melbourne.
The busiest suburb is Reservoir, with 17 auctions, followed by Glen Waverley and St Kilda, each with 16 homes scheduled for auction.

Summary of last week’s results:
Last week, CoreLogic collected a total of 1,723 auction results across the capital cities, with a final auction clearance rate of 77.1 per cent, the highest clearance rate for the year to date, and the highest reading since June last year (77.3 per cent).
Last week’s clearance rate of 77.1 per cent was moderately higher than the previous week (74.5 per cent). Last week, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide each recorded their highest year to date clearance rate.
Sydney’s clearance rate hit the 80 per cent mark last week, at 80.7 per cent, while Melbourne’s clearance rate came in just below, at 79.3 per cent, both representing week-on-week improvements for the cities.
Across the individual sub-regions of the two major auction markets, the strongest clearance rate was across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs (90.7 per cent) and Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula (94.1 per cent).

Outside of the capitals, the strongest performing regional markets last week, based on clearance rate, were Wollongong (76.7 per cent) and Geelong (89.5 per cent), however auction activity across these regions remains low.
