Solara brings two-storey loft living to Inglewood’s Beaufort Street
Joel RobinsonSep 9, 2026PROJECT LAUNCH

A limited collection of two-storey loft apartments forms part of Solara on Beaufort, a new Art Deco-inspired apartment development by Normanby Road Investment Pty Ltd, with INGWE Capital as development manager, entering the market in Inglewood through a staged release program.

The project at 939 Beaufort Street comprises studios alongside two and three-bedroom apartments, with Stage 1 introducing the first residences to market. The loft collection distinguishes the offering by separating living and sleeping spaces across two levels.

RAD Architecture was appointed to lead the interior architecture and apartment design optimisation at Solara, working alongside interior designer Marquet Studio and project marketing agency Jones Realty & Projects, whose buyer demand and pricing insights informed the layout and specification decisions. The team has refined the apartment layouts and interiors within the existing building design.

The two-storey residences place the kitchen, dining and living areas on the lower level, with bedrooms positioned upstairs to create separation between the main living and private spaces. Oversized kitchen islands and balconies also feature across the loft collection.

The single-level two and three-bedroom apartments bring the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms and private balcony together on one floor.

Across the residences, the material palette includes engineered stone benchtops, wood-look laminate cabinetry, wool carpet and hybrid vinyl plank flooring. Integrated kitchen appliances are used to maintain a streamlined finish.

Solara on Beaufort also includes a residents-only rooftop lounge and dining area above Beaufort Street, incorporating an outdoor barbecue area, coffee bar and kitchen.

A private gym provides strength and cardio equipment alongside a sauna, while a secure residential lobby forms the building's street-level arrival.

Most of the apartment layouts are either unique or limited to a small number of variations. The studio apartments include private balconies and secure car bays, with private studies incorporated into selected floorplans.

Solara on Beaufort sits on the Beaufort Street corridor between Inglewood, Mount Lawley and Highgate, around 3.9 kilometres from the Perth CBD. Nearby destinations include Mount Lawley Golf Club, Hyde Park and the Swan River.

The team behind Solara brings experience from Marbella Beachside in Scarborough, an 18-terrace development that has since sold out. The same developer, architect, interior designer, builder and project marketing team involved in Marbella have come together again at Solara, carrying across their experience in delivering the coastal project and its distinctive architectural finishes.

Construction at Solara on Beaufort is already underway, with KASTLE targeting completion in 2028.

Two-bedroom lofts in the first release are priced from $1.01 million, while three-bedroom lofts start from $1.498 million. The project also includes studios from $599,000 and single-level two-bedroom apartments from $1.025 million.
