Sarazin launches The Stanley Residences in Woolloongabba as construction commences

Sarazin's stronghold over the under-supplied Woolloongabba apartment market is to continue with the launch, and accompanying construction commencement, of The Stanley Residences.

Sarazin is once again working with tier one builder Hutchinson Builders, who is currently delivering the developer's nearby Murcia Residences.

The Stanley Residences comprises 234 two- and three-bedroom apartments across a 35-storey tower, opposite The Gabba on Trafalgar Street.

Prices start from $1.38 million, and completion is currently anticipated for late 2029.

The project has recorded $220 million in sales in just four months, reflecting a strong response since its launch.

Downsizers, upsizers, local upgraders, and investors have been the most popular cohort of purchasers in the glass tower. There's also been significant interest from Sydney and Melbourne.

For Sarazin, the project represents a significant addition to its existing commitment to Woolloongabba, where the Brisbane-based developer holds multiple sites.

Sarazin Managing Director Darren Dougan said the prominence of the site had shaped the approach to the project.

GroupGSA has designed the tower, with the residences featuring larger floorplans, generous storage and robes, kitchens with substantial island benches and premium appliances, and ensuites incorporating statement baths. Apartments have also been oriented to make the most of the project's elevated city, river and suburban outlooks.

A major component of The Stanley will sit at the top of the building, where two levels have been dedicated to resident wellness and recreation.

The rooftop precinct will include an infinity pool, sauna and steam room, magnesium mineral pools, gym and yoga lawn alongside a cinema, golf simulator, private dining facilities, wine cellar and co-working spaces.

The project sales team, Drive Property Group, said the rooftop, the project location, Woolloongabba's infrastructure pipeline, and the fact that regarded construction firm Hutchinson Builders is in charge of the build have been the biggest selling points.

The Stanley sits around 300 metres from the new Cross River Rail station and close to the site of the future Brisbane Arena, while the established Logan Road precinct puts restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

The development also sits within Sarazin's broader plans for the neighbourhood. They are currently selling Murcia Residences, which is on track to complete in late 2027, and they have several more towers in the pipeline in the immediate area.
