Morris Property Group launches Lido, its latest Broadbeach apartment development
Longstanding Gold Coast developer Morris Property Group has launch its 11th project in Broadbeach, the most a single developer has contributed to the booming suburb.
Morris has launched Lido, Italian for beach, which will consist of 212 two and three-bedroom apartments on Britannia Avenue, toward the northern end of Broadbeach and just 300m from the sand.
Lido has been designed around a podium, residential tower and landscaped recreation deck, with the architecture balancing the vertical building form with greenery across its lower levels.
Morris has drawn on decades of experience developing in Broadbeach to shape Lido's amenity offering, using feedback from residents across its previous projects to focus on the facilities they actually use, while also helping keep ongoing body corporate fees down.
The recreation and wellness deck sits at the centre of the offering, with a north-facing swimming pool, gym, yoga spaces and barbecue areas set among landscaped gardens and cascading greenery.
Inside the apartments, two interior schemes provide different interpretations of the palette. Salt is the lighter of the two, combining pale cabinetry with textured stone surfaces, timber accents and layered neutral finishes. Cove introduces deeper tones through veined stone, walnut joinery and earthy finishes.
Kitchens feature Bosch appliances, while Casa Lusso brushed nickel tapware is used across the apartments. Integrated storage, open-plan living areas and floor-to-ceiling glazing also form part of the specification.
Layouts extend to private balconies and have been configured to take advantage of ocean, skyline or hinterland outlooks depending on their orientation within the tower.
The Britannia Avenue address places the development behind Broadbeach Boulevard, with Broadbeach Beach around a three-minute walk away. Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach Bowls Club and the dining and retail precincts around Surf Parade and The Oasis are also within walking distance, while bus and light rail services provide connections further along the Gold Coast.
Lido continues Morris Property Group's activity in the Broadbeach apartment market. The family-owned developer and builder is also behind Koko Broadbeach, completed in 2021, as well as Maison Broadbeach and Crest Broadbeach, which are currently under construction
