Construction is expected to kick off this year at 133-141 Liverpool Street in the <a href="/developers/deicorp">Sydney CBD</a>, on the site of the Polding Centre building which dates back to the 1970s and has been occupied by offices ever since.

Following the site acquisition in 2021, <a href="/developers/deicorp">Deicorp</a> undertook a design excellence process by selecting Candalepas Associates to create the striking tower.

CBRE Residential Projects Managing Director Dave Milton said Hyde Metropolitan will be "one of the preeminent Sydney residential development on the southern end of Hyde Park."

The project will home 168 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, of which a number will have never-to-be-built-out views across Hyde Park.

It was 2018 when Matrix Development descended on Melbourne's St Kilda Road precinct, snapping up what used to be the&nbsp;Habitat HQ backpacker hostel for $16 million.

The 2540 sqm corner site fronting St Kilda Road and Blanche Street will be home to the ten-level boutique apartment, M333.

BLVD is the newest address in Melbourne's cultural Southbank hub.

It's the latest stage of OSK Property's $2.8 billion masterplan, Melbourne Square, which is becoming one of the most impressive precincts ever developed in the Victorian capital.

Koschar says the project has been getting attention since day one.

"It's a massive site of huge importance, not only for us, but also the council and the City of Melbourne," Koschar says.

"Anytime you developer such a large site in the aerts precinct of a city, it's going to get a little bit of attention, and certainly it was no different for us selling our stage one."

Koschar says as a developer it was extremely important that they found a large enough site that enabled them to buildessentially a city within a city, not just a singular site where they put up one tower with limited space and amenity.

The amenity and community has been a big drawcard for buyers, with Koschar suggesting a car just isn't needed at Melbourne Square.

"You can walk to almost anywhere you need to&nbsp;get to," Koschar says.

"Here we've got the two-storey Woolworths downstairs under our stage one, we've got a Nido&nbsp;Child Care which is also a huge benefit for locals that live around here. They can&nbsp;drop the kids off and perhaps take the tram into the city to get to work, so we're seeing a huge&nbsp;change in how people are living and how they're choosing to live in this area."

While the amenity is plentiful outside the building, BLVD in particular is set to bring facilities which are more commonly seen in high-end resorts.

The Southbank site of the $2 billion twin mega-tower project <a href="/new-apartments/sth-bnk-by-beulah-southbank-60-southbank-boulevard-southbank">STH BNK by Beulah</a> has been given a splash of colour before its impending demoltion.

The&nbsp;Beulah Foundation, the philanthropic arm of <a href="/new-apartments/melbourne-vic">Melbourne apartment</a> developer Beulah, had Melbourne-based artist George Rose paint the large-scale mural of Australian natives on the roof of the former BMW dealership.

The&nbsp;botanical display of bright colours including greens, purple and pinks celebrate a variety of Australian natives including Kangaroo Apple, Royal Bluebell, Beach Pea, Grevillea, Spider Orchid, and the Bush Pea.

George Rose’s work is known for exploring the fragility of nature, featuring endangered flora and fauna, and the transformation of the micro into macro-scale, with the BMW rooftop evident of her signature gradients.

The artwork aspires to promote art, well-being and sustainability, while advancing culture in and around the City of Melbourne.

The concept for the mural focused on rejuvenating the current site’s urbanscape and is complementary to the eye-catching Atong Atem mural that adorns the exterior of Hanover House, with both sites celebrating local female artists.

Beulah Director Adelene Teh said the Beulah Foundation is thrilled to partner with George Rose, and looks forward to seeing the positive impact the artwork will have on the surrounding community.

“Melbourne is known as the cultural capital of Australia, famous for its rich and vibrant arts and culture scene; both of these murals will help activate Melbourne as a vibrant 24/7 city, while celebrating local female artists as well,” Teh said.

Both Hanover House and the former BMW site will be the future home to the <a href="/new-apartments/sth-bnk-by-beulah-southbank-60-southbank-boulevard-southbank">STH BNK By Beulah</a>, a vertically integrated city within a city that will offer world-class retail, a comprehensive wellness precinct, a residential offering, a childcare centre, extensive green spaces including rooftop gardens and pocket parks dotted throughout, as well as an innovative cultural centre in partnership with Centre Pompidou, which has the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe.
