"We took inspiration from the sand dunes, the utilitarian forms of ocean racing sail boats, and the built environment around the site," Lightbody says. The tower grows from this as a sculptural glass form shielded by the smooth white sails of the western façade."

Exhale is SIERA's third Gold Coast project. Founded by Brent Thompson in 2014, the developer built its reputation across a decade of delivery in Brisbane's inner ring before turning to the coast.
