Skymark continues Cronulla focus with Solis apartments

Skymark has quietly established a strong presence in Cronulla, delivering a series of boutique residential developments  under  the Skymark Siganture collection designed around the suburb’s relaxed coastal lifestyle and the practicality of everyday living.

Solis, being the developer-builder’s second project selling on the market, is a collection of just 16 apartments on tightly held Ewos Parade, perfectly positioned between the seclusion of Blackwoods Beach and the buzz of Cronulla.

Providing off-the-plan buyers with greater confidence around delivery, construction at Solis is already well advanced, with the project on track to top out this coming week. The milestone comes at a time when many new developments are launched to market well before construction gets underway.

The developer has added another layer of buyer protection by securing Resilience Insurance's 10-year Latent Defects Insurance, giving purchasers a decade of cover against eligible major structural, electrical and waterproofing defects after completion.

The insurance is the most comprehensive level of latent defects cover currently available to apartment developers and is increasingly being adopted by developers looking to provide buyers with greater confidence around construction quality and their long-term investment.

Solis comprises 16 two and three-bedroom apartments designed by IDA Design Group, which looked to Cronulla's coastal landscape for the architecture, drawing on the sandstone headlands and naturally eroded forms of the coastline to shape the building's curved façade and pavilion-style massing.

“At Solis, our aim was to create architecture that feels quietly confident, grounded in natural materials like stone and timber, and elevated by light and landscape,” IDA Design Group's Michael Trinh said.

“The buildings are designed to sit gently within their coastal surrounds, with expansive glazing and abundant greenery creating a seamless dialogue between inside and out.”

The building has been positioned to make the most of its coastal location, with the primary living spaces generally facing north and east to capture morning sunlight and sea breezes.

The garden apartments spill into private landscaped courtyards, while the upper levels capture a mix of ocean, district and treetop outlooks. Beach views begin to open up from level four, while select upper-level apartments also feature bar areas and secondary living spaces that can be adapted to suit their owners.

Hot Black Founder and Design Director Sophie Safrin has carried the architectural palette into the apartments, combining natural stone, timber and brushed metal throughout the interiors.

“At Solis, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a timeless coastal retreat, calm, refined, and effortlessly liveable,” Safrin said.

“From natural finishes to seamless indoor-outdoor flow, Solis offers a quiet elegance that’s deeply connected to its surroundings.”

Skymark is targeting a late 2027 completion for Solis. Apartments are being sold through Ray White Projects, with two-bedroom apartments priced from $1.99 million.

Solis forms part of Skymark’s continued focus on Cronulla, alongside its flagship project, Isla, which is currently under construction on Gerrale Street, just a short walk from Solis. Together, the projects reflect Skymark’s ongoing investment in delivering considered residential developments within the suburb.
