Sales flow at Larool Crescent as first home buyers and downsizers seek low-rise convenience in Castle Hill
Buyers have flocked to Larool Crescent, the only new development to launch in Castle Hill in 2024.
In the months since launch, the market has responded strongly to the prospect of a low-rise building close to Castle Towers and a short walk to the newly connected Metro.
"Larool Crescent was designed to cater to every buyer, and that's exactly what we've seen since we've started selling," Boston Buckler Director Alex Walker says.
"First home buyers who have been priced out of most buildings in Castle Hill have secured several of the entry-level one and two-bedroom apartments, and while typically downsizers like to wait until construction is a little further along, we've seen them instead secure the apartments at today's price and give themselves a two-year window to work out what to do with their current home."
Walker says the lack of available stock on the market has been a significant factor.
"While there's been much more development in the last five years than the five years prior, there's still not a wide choice, particularly for first home buyers and downsizers," Walker says.
10 years in the making, Larool Crescent comprises five low-rise buildings designed by PTW to wrap around a central courtyard.
There are one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments on offer, as well as a handful of large townhouses, a rarity in new developments in the area. The interiors of the apartments have been crafted by Coco Republic.
Larool Crescent is strategically situated near Castle Hill's key amenities and attractions, offering residents convenient access to popular shopping destinations like Parklea Markets and Castle Towers, as well as a variety of acclaimed local restaurants.
Builder SRG has already been appointed to deliver Larool Crescent. Buyers are expected to move in in late 2026.
