Deicorp launches Kings Bay Village in booming Five Dock metro corridor
Deicorp has officially launch sales at its major Kings Bay Village development in Five Dock, after attracting around 600 registrations of interest ahead of its first release.
The Sydney developer opened the doors to the project's new display suite at 75 Queens Road recently, attracting around 500 prospective buyers, local residents and members of the Five Dock community.
Kings Bay Village is one of the largest projects set to reshape the Parramatta Road corridor, with 1,185 apartments planned across six buildings on a sprawling 3.1-hectare site located within close proximity to the future Five Dock Metro Station, scheduled to open in 2032.
Designed by TURNER, the mixed-use precinct will also introduce more than 14,700 sqm of retail and commercial space, including a supermarket, cafés, restaurants and health services.
More than 6,500 sqm of the site will be dedicated to parks and publicly accessible open space, anchored by a 3,000 sqm landscaped village green and civic plaza.
Pedestrian laneways, landscaped courtyards and a covered marketplace will run through the precinct, creating what Deicorp intends to be a new village centre rather than simply another large-scale apartment development.
More than 200 of the residences will be delivered as affordable housing for key workers including nurses, teachers and police officers.
The project will also contribute more than $80 million towards new and upgraded infrastructure in the surrounding area.
Deicorp Founder and Chairman Fouad Deiri said the scale and mix of uses at Kings Bay Village would see it play a major role in the ongoing transformation of Five Dock.

Kings Bay Village adds another major project to Deicorp's growing Sydney pipeline, with the developer increasingly targeting large-scale, transport-connected sites capable of supporting new mixed-use communities.
They have current suburb-shaping projects in Melrose Park, Zetland, and Castle Hill.
