Geoff Harvey, the former musical director of The Midday Show, is another Berrima resident who's recently sold a property with cricket pitch.

Indeed Broomielaw at Berrima even came with rugby field.

It is a 40-hectare property in the Southern Highlands, which features mostly natural bushland dipping to a kilometre of Wingecarribee riverfront.

The four-bedroomed Broomielaw had been the retreat of Harvey and his wife, Katrina, for 33 years, and in more recent times the former Channel 9 music maestro and his wife operate a highly regarded bed and breakfast, Broomielaw Barn.

Harvey's tastes were witnessed in the rugby field, cricket pitch and vineyard.

Angus Campbell-Jones at Campbell-Jones Property  secured $1.65 million earlier this year.

The town's other big sale was when the Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke and wife, Kyly, bought a very pretty private estate that comes complete with picket fenced oval and cricket pitch.
