Entrepreneur Marc Albert has sold his Bellevue Hill residence at an undisclosed price.

It was listed with hopes of $7 million-plus through Agency by Alison Coopes last year.

In January a $6.4 million proposed acquisition by Chinese businessman Jun Qiu was blocked by the compliance and real estate screening unit of Treasury's foreign investment division.

The Victoria Road house, on a 759 sq m block, last sold for $3.95 million in 2003.

It is an early 1990s design by Stephen Gergely of Gergely & Pinter Architects and was built for the late property doyen Ervin Graf, who founded the Stockland group.
