Cute as a small button, but likely to be bulldozed.

There was a $1.26 million sale at North Curl Curl amid the weekend auctions of a classic two bedroom, one bathroom beach cottage.

The 76 square metre house that sits on a 310 square metre 6 Surf Road block was listed by Lauren Haines at Raine & Horne Dee Why.

It has views over the adjacent Flora Reserve towards the beach and ocean.

The revamped classic beach house sits on 311 square metres of level land.

"Move straight in and plan your next home, rent it out, or just enjoy this beach house in this magical position as it is," the marketing said.

The Google streetview shows what's likely to come by way of second floor.

There were eight registered bidders at the on-site auction.

It last sold at 385 pounds in 1954.

There had been sales along Surf Road of up to $1.8 million in previous years.
