Loss making Northam three bedroom house sold by mortgagee
A three bedroom house in Northam, about 97 kilometres east-northeast of Perth in the Avon Valley, has been sold for $130,000 by mortgagees some four years after its initial listing.
It was sold by Lui Marcelli from Country Reality-Northam.
The 4 Martin Street house has been recently renovated with new kitchen, bathroom and laundry.
It features three bedrooms, the lounge and meals area, large separate games room, and a double carport as well as a large garage/shed.
It had last sold at $250,000 in 2010.
The initial asking price was $269,000.
The asking price was dropped progressively to sit at $139,000 in January.
For the investor, the suggested rent is at around $250 per week.
