Sydney auction tipping
There's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.
One of the five Sydney properties in round four of the competition this week is 11 Boyce Street, Glebe, which is being auctioned by McGrath.
"The owners of 11 Boyce Street, Glebe, in Sydney's inner west will be hoping for lots of competition for their four-bedroom, double-storey terrace," says Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon.
"It was purchased in 2008 for $1.5 million, and the agents are expecting a similar results this time around.
"Boyce Street is a beautiful inner-city street full of period style homes and is always a well sought-after location. A recent sale around the corner in Toxteth Street for over $2 million is an ecouraging result for the vendors."
