Set to open in May 2017, ALDI will now be able to fill a major gap in their network with their nearest stores being in Manly, North Sydney and Chatswood.
“ALDI will function as the major customer attraction on Level 1 of the centre – complementing the offer of Harris Farm and IGA on the ground floor," said Bob Walsh, Principal of centre managers and retail leasing agents Ray White Retail. 
“The addition of ALDI will reinforce Bridgepoint's position as the premier shopping centre on the Lower North Shore."

Aldi set to open Mosman store

Population figures in the Brisbane suburb of Chermside are expected to nearly double by 2036 with an annual population growth rate of 3.1 percent, 1 percent higher than the projected figure for greater Brisbane.
Forecasts from Resolution Research Strategists tip an increase of more than 8,500 residents between 2016 and 2036 in Chermside.
Resolution Research Strategists director Diane Howe said the growth can be attributed to a high level of connectivity with the CBD, major employment, health and education nodes.
"Chermside is one of the top performers in Brisbane's northern CBD and the population is tipped to reach more than 18,500 by 2036," she said.
"It's considered to be one of the biggest employment regions on Brisbane's northside with the Australian Tax Office, Prince Charles Hospital and other auxiliary hospitals and government departments based there. 
"Employment figures are set to grow even more when the redevelopment of Westfield Shopping Centre is completed next year.”
360 Residential Project Marketing sales director Amanda Malady said there is a principle demand for apartment dwellings, particularly from professional workers, university students, young families and retirees.  
"Younger professionals are attracted to the area's proximity to major institutions, workplaces, retail infrastructure and the CBD,” she said.
“There's a 45 luxury apartment project in Woodstore, which is due for completion shortly and is already 95 percent sold.
“Harper on Hamilton (above), a 52 apartment project is due for completion mid 2017 and is 80 percent sold, whilst the boutique 23 apartment development Hallmarque, which is set to commence construction next month, is 85 percent sold.”

Chermside tipped as one of Brisbane's fastest growing suburbs

The Hills of Carmel, a 2,000 lot sub-division spread across 223 hectares in the newly rezoned Box Hill, has sold out its first stage faster than expected.
More than 115 housing blocks have been sold to home buyers since the $1.3 billion site launched in mid-May, prompting an early release of the next 16 hectares of untouched land.
The next release is made up of 180 blocks which will start at $420,000 for 300 sqm.
Additional lots will be available consisting of 375 sqm, 450 sqm and 550 sqm.
The vast land, once owned by Governor William Bligh in the 1800s, is five minutes from the soon to be completed Metro line at Rouse Hill.
It will form part of a community which will feature a new shopping centre, playing fields, schools and extensive outdoor space and bicycle paths.
