Local developer Harridan is seeking to turn its Woolloongabba apartment project into the first stage of a broader transformation of Burke Street, using a new 16-storey mixed-use building to establish a greener pedestrian connection toward the rapidly evolving Boggo Road transport and knowledge precinct.

The South East Queensland developer has filed plans for 154 apartments on the <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/4-burke-street-woolloongabba-qld-4102">southern side of Burke Street</a>, where its proposal has been designed alongside a wider vision by LatStudios for the street.

That vision positions the southern side of Burke Street for buildings of 15 storeys and above, while envisaging lower-rise development of up to five storeys on the northern side to transition into Woolloongabba's existing character housing. It also proposes wider pedestrian verges, deep planting, new street trees and upgrades to the pedestrian approach to Boggo Road Station.

The Harridan development itself has been designed by Brisbane-based Arqus Design and will comprise 154 apartments across 16 storeys. The mix is weighted heavily toward two-bedroom apartments, with 121 proposed alongside 10 one-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom residences. There will typically be around 14 units per floor.

A lower-ground car park and three podium levels will accommodate 156 resident parking spaces, along with visitor and commercial parking. There will also be 154 resident bicycle spaces and 40 visitor bicycle parks.

Harridan is a family-owned developer and part of the Holmwood Highgate Group, with more than three decades of development activity across South East Queensland. Its portfolio spans residential, commercial and industrial property, with current residential projects including Riverbank on Byron in Bulimba, Esperance Residences in Carina and The Precinct at Kinross Road in Thornlands.

Wooloongabba has been popular for apartment developers, particularly since the announcement of the 2032 Summer Olympics games in Brisbane.

While there have been a lot of development applications, it has failed to materialize into real supply.&nbsp;

Sarazin has been the major player in the area. They are under construction at Murcia Residences, on the fringe of East Brisbane and Woolloongabba. Lewis Land Head of Development Michael Long said the inclusion of a berth with every Sky Home had become increasingly valuable as marina access across the Gold Coast tightened.

“The private 70-berth marina will accommodate boats up to 12 metres in length and is positioned just 2.5 kilometres from the Broadwater, placing the open ocean only 15 minutes away.

Residents of The Waterline will have access to a private pool, along with Harbour Shores' wider collection of amenity including a lagoon pool, social clubhouse, tennis court, gym, yoga facilities and sauna.

Lewis Land partnered with Studio Collective to furnish the completed display, with the interiors designed to demonstrate how the residences could function as permanent homes rather than simply as show apartments.

Studio Collective Director Melissa Park said the surrounding waterways informed the interiors, but in a more restrained way than a traditional coastal scheme.

“We drew inspiration from the canals and coastal surrounds, but our approach was to interpret that subtly through layered materials and a grounded palette of earthy tones, rather than literal coastal references,” Park said.

“We introduced hero moments of green and teal to reference the surrounding waterways, while mirrored elements help reflect natural light.

“The result is a residence that feels elevated yet comfortable, somewhere buyers can genuinely imagine themselves living, entertaining and unwinding.”

Sky Homes are priced from $3.65 million.

Lewis Land is also offering private marina berths with The Residences, its limited collection of three and four-bedroom villas positioned directly along the Harbour Shores waterfront boardwalk.

St Vincent de Paul Society Housing Australia has filed plans for a major mixed-use housing precinct on the southern edge of the North Sydney CBD, adding another significant proposal to a pocket around North Sydn​ey Station that is quickly becoming one of the LGA's busiest development zones.

The State Significant Development Application covers a 5,990 sqm site at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/1-19-mackenzie-street-lavender-bay-nsw-2060">1-19 MacKenzie Street and 211 Blues Point Road in Lavender Bay</a>, immediately south of Nor​th Sydney Station and between the commercial core and the lower-rise Lavender Bay Heritage Conservation Area.

Designed by Wardle, the proposal would deliver a new residential tower comprising 88 build-to-sell apartments and 19 affordable apartments, alongside a separate co-living building with 57 rooms and a building manager's studio.

It would also see the significant restoration and upgrade of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the adaptive reuse of the former school building, new parish facilities, retail, a new public square and around 1,000 sqm of publicly accessible open space.

The project is seeking a concurrent rezoning of the site to R4 High Density Residential and an increase in the maximum building height to allow a tower reaching RL120, or up to 20 storeys. The proposal was progressed through the NSW Government's Housing Delivery Authority pathway.

The build-to-sell component will be weighted toward larger apartments, with just six one-bedroom apartments compared with 31 two-beds, 43 three-beds and eight four-bedroom residences.

The 19 affordable apartments will comprise two studios, 15 one-bedroom apartments and two two-bedroom apartments, taking the total apartment component to 107 residences before the 58 co-living rooms are included.

Wardle's design for the Vinnies site has sought to negotiate that emerging high-rise context while retaining the lower-scale character of MacKenzie Street and the adjoining heritage conservation area.

The main building adopts a three-storey podium and tower arrangement, with the podium aligned to the ridgeline and front setback of St Francis Xavier Church.&nbsp;Wardle has designed the podium with colonnades, seating, recessed entries and active ground-floor frontages, with sandstone-toned precast concrete and face brick referencing the materiality of the existing church.

The tower then steps back eight metres to the south and six metres to the north before rising in a sculpted form comprising four interlocking quadrants. Wardle has also introduced rounded forms and chamfered corners to reduce the tower's perceived bulk and improve view sharing with neighbouring development sites.

Resident facilities and outdoor areas are planned at the separation between the podium and tower at Level 3, oriented toward Sydney Harbour and the CBD skyline.

The tower itself will feature a glass reinforced concrete facade, with recessed balconies and deep reveals used both to provide shading and privacy and frame views toward the harbour and city. The lower levels take a different architectural approach, using brick and sandstone-toned finishes intended to establish a stronger relationship with St Francis Xavier Church. The Church itself will be conserved and upgraded for its continued use, while the former school building will be adaptively reused as part of the co-living component.

The proposal adds to an increasingly concentrated pipeline of residential development around Blue Street, MacKenzie Street and Lavender Bay.

Just west of the site, Central Element lodged plans earlier this year for one of the most significant residential developments proposed in Lavender Bay in recent years.

Central Element's SJB-designed scheme at 64-66 Lavender Street and 3-7 Middlemiss Street would deliver 163 apartments across two towers rising 23 and 32 storeys, replacing five existing apartment buildings containing 32 homes. The project also forms part of the Housing Delivery Authority pathway.

Zurich Australian Insurance Properties is seeking to adaptively reuse its longstanding commercial building at 5 Blue Street, directly above North Sydney Station, rather than demolishing the structure.

Its SSDA proposes converting the building into a 14-storey mixed-use development with 62 apartments and 86 co-living rooms, together with ground-floor retail and a major refurbishment of Blue Street Plaza. The application is currently at the Response to Submissions stage.

First look: Vinnies files for 20-storey Lavender Bay apartment tower as North Sydney housing pocket heats up

When the opportunity arose for South Australian developer Palumbo to return to Kent Town, where it had previously delivered East Park Apartments and the East 
Rundle Apartments, it wasn't one the longstanding developer-builder was going to pass up.

The decision was quickly vindicated, with more than 30 apartments sold within the first month of launching <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/royal-apartments-kent-town-2-8-north-terrace-kent-town-sa-5067">Royal Apartments</a> to the market.

The 206-apartment development, which will bring significant new supply to Adelaide's tightly held eastern city fringe, also gives <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/developers/palumbo">Palumbo</a> the opportunity to bring new life to one of Kent Town's most recognisable watering holes.

Royal Apartments incorporates the historic Royal Hotel, a venue Palumbo Managing Director Daniel Palumbo said has a longstanding connection with the local community.

The wider development will comprise two residential towers alongside the restored hotel, sitting on North Terrace opposite the Adelaide Park Lands.

For Palumbo, the project also marks a return to familiar territory.

The developer completed East Park Apartments next door more than a decade ago and jumped at the opportunity to develop in Kent Town again when the Royal Hotel site became available.

"The opportunity emerged, and we moved to secure the site," Palumbo said.

"We were approached by the previous landowner, who said they had extensive commitments in Sydney and weren't in a position to deliver the project.

"We took over the site and within six months recut the design scheme to be more in keeping with the type of development we want to bring to Adelaide.

"Now we're on the market and those changes have really resonated with local buyers."

That has translated into a strong start to sales, with 33 apartments transacting in the project's first 35 days.

Palumbo said the early purchaser profile had been consistent with the group's traditional focus on owner-occupiers rather than investor-led apartment stock.

"Local owner-occupiers have always been our market," he said.

"There are always some investors, but we've never developed what would be called traditional development stock. Owner-occupiers are very much our market."

The buyer mix has been diverse so far, with downsizers and younger professionals both accounting for a significant portion of early sales.

South Australia's current stamp duty settings, which allow&nbsp;eligible homeowners in South Australia aged 60 savings of up to $103,830 on stamp duty when they downsize to a new property valued at up to $2 million,&nbsp;have helped encourage downsizer activity, while younger buyers in their late 20s and early 30s have been attracted to the opportunity to live immediately outside the CBD while still being able to walk into the city.



Location has been a major part of the proposition for both buyer cohorts.

Royal Apartments will offer a broad mix of residences, ranging from one-bedroom apartments through to four-bedroom sub-penthouses and penthouses.

Current listings include one-bedroom apartments from $680,000, while larger three and four-bedroom residences are priced around $2.5 million.

Residents will have access to a swimming pool, gym, barbecue and recreation areas, residents' lounge and dining space, and a communal deck.

Palumbo is acting as developer, architect and builder on Royal Apartments, continuing the vertically integrated model it has used across its South Australian portfolio.

Palumbo said Royal's launch had come at an interesting time for the broader Adelaide apartment market.

Buyer confidence had initially been impacted by uncertainty surrounding the Federal Budget and broader economic conditions, but Palumbo believes sentiment is beginning to improve against a backdrop of significant investment flowing into South Australia.

He pointed to increased activity across defence and resources, including Olympic Dam, as potential long-term drivers of the state's economy and housing market.

"Money is starting to flow into Adeliade, significant amounts as Adelaide bucks the trend of the rest of the country.," Palumbo said.

"There's a lot of activity in the economy over the next decade. I think more investment will come into this market."

Early works on Royal Apartments are expected to commence this year, with major construction activity and cranes anticipated on site from early next year.

Their latest milestone is securing development approval for Silk, its boutique riverfront apartment development in St Lucia.

The approval clears&nbsp;the way for the team to begin construction planning for the 22-residence project.

GRAYA Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Rob Gray said the project had been shaped around local homeowners wanting to remain in St Lucia without maintaining a traditional family home.

"St Lucia is one of those suburbs people do not want to leave," Gray said.

"They know the river, the trees, UQ, the golf course, Toowong and Indooroopilly, and that familiarity is hard to replace.

"True riverfront opportunities here are exceptionally scarce. What we have designed at Silk is a way to stay in the suburb people love, with the scale and privacy of a private home and far less to maintain.

GRAYA will take a different role at Silk, controlling the project from design and development through construction and aftercare under its vertically integrated model.

The development will include a gym and resident leisure areas at ground level, integrated with the river's edge.

Silk joins a growing pipeline for GRAYA across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, which includes Enclave, The Gallery, Coral and Ripple.

Two construction companies are among the top five of the 2017 Top 500 Private Companies list compiled by IBISWorld.
Harry Triguboff’s Meriton Group occupies fourth position with a revenue of $2.77 billion, while BGC is at no. 5 with revenue of $2.69 billion.
The rankings are based on revenue. Both developers, however, posted a fall in revenue on a year-on-year basis, the list showed, pointing to a slowing housing and construction market.
Triguboff, whose personal wealth is estimated to be $10.23 billion, has also been on the BRW Rich 200 list since it was first published in 1984. 
Meriton has focused on the apartment sector, but it is increasingly expanding into serviced apartment and also childcare centres. The developer last year led Australia in housing starts with 7929 dwelling constructions, about triple the number the year before.
The surprise in the pack was another developer, Hutchinson Builders, which jumped into the top 10 with a 43 percent surge in revenue at $2.3 billion.
The fourth-generation Queensland builder beat the odds of a federal work ban and a slowing housing market for his stellar performance, the Australian Financial Review reported.
Brisbane-based Hutchinsons were not allowed to tender for Commonwealth-funded projects from April 1 to June 30 for breaches of the federal Building Code related to its workers' ability to choose whether or not they joined a union.
Hutchinson chief executive Greg Quinn said the builder had considered appealing the ban, given the breaches were relatively minor and involved just a handful of its 1400 employees and 2500 sub-contractors.
The federal work amounted to only 7 per cent of its turnover, he said.
Apart from the three construction companies in the top 10, the next in the industry are way behind, with BMD Group at 34th position with revenue of $1.14 billion and Hansen Yuncken with revenue of $1.11 billion. Both grew their revenue by more than 20 percent year on year.
The top 50 was rounded off with Richard Crookes Constructions, Built, ABN Group and Salta Properties.

Harry Triguboff leads list of developers in top 500 private companies list

Harry Tribugoff's Meriton Apartments Group has bagged an 11 hectare waterside residential development site set in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for $245 million.
The Little Bay Cove site was sold through an expressions of interest campaign.
The deal was brokered by Knight Frank’s Tim Holtsbaum and Eugene Evgenikos along with JLL.
Holtsbaum said interest in the site was strong as it was “a dream site for developers; a massive 11 hectares of luxury, high end masterplan-approved land”. 
The site has approved masterplans for a combination of single-lot housing, town houses and luxury apartments. 
All remediation, site works, roads, park landscaping and infrastructure have been completed, including amenities such as water, electricity and gas.
“We’ve seen some large residential site sale transactions occur nearby in the South Sydney market but nothing of this prestige, with the coastal lifestyle and beach views,” he said.
Little Bay Cove would benefit from the NSW government’s CBD and South East Light Rail project, currently under construction down Anzac Parade, providing links to the CBD, added Eugene Evgenikos.
Meriton edged out Chinese developer Country Garden for the highly sought after site, near La Perouse, which after development will have an end value of more than $700 million, added The Australian.

The Meriton group founder and owner has a total of 3066 apartments, estimated to be worth in excess of $3 billion.
Some 4500 serviced apartments are owned by Meriton.
Victor Toscano, Meriton’s head of residential leasing, said that the vacancy rate for the 6000‐plus apartment’s rent roll was only 0.06 per cent.
“This year we hit an all‐time record, signing up 134 tenants in one week and battled to keep up with demand, which is great for both Mr Triguboff and for our investor clients," he said,
“People want to be within easy reach of the CBD and they are after lifestyle – they want things like pools and gyms and they want shops, restaurants and cafes.
"The Triguboff‐owned apartments produced income of $79.57 million in the 2015‐16 year.
“A lot have been added to Mr Triguboff’s portfolio since June 30 so the income figure’s expected to top $100 million in the latest financial year.
“He’s extremely comfortable when it comes to keeping apartments because his company’s built the blocks and knows everything about them.
“He’s always insisted, be it for his own apartments or for those that are sold, that each building has a dedicated on‐site manager.”
"The holdings were spread across 11 Meriton projects and were in the suburbs of Chatswood, Lane Cove (pictured above), Chiswick, Rhodes, North Sydney, Waterloo, Zetland and Mascot.
“The first big block that was retained was at Bondi Junction, where the 305 apartments have since been converted to serviced apartments.”

Harry Triguboff Sydney apartment portfolio surpasses 3,000

Australia’s biggest developer of apartments, Meriton, has bought a development site overlooking the beach in Surfers Paradise and is thinking of building the Gold Coast’s highest apartment complex.
The 4000 square metre site on The Esplanade near Cavill Avenue has no restrictions on height.
Meriton says it is contemplating a skyscraper of 90 storeys or more.
The site will be cleared after Meriton takes possession in March next year.
Meriton founder Harry Triguboff yesterday said that the site was being bought on the back of Meriton’s success with its Brighton on Broadwater project in Southport.
“We believe the Queensland market is strong and that prices will rise further," he said.
“There are no brand new apartments on the market near Cavill Avenue.”
Triguboff said the purchase of The Esplanade site would enable the group to complete its portfolio of Queensland serviced apartments.
Meriton Serviced Apartments, Australia’s biggest owner of hotel suites, has two properties in Brisbane and two on the Gold Coast.
Triguboff said the Surfers Paradise tower would fill in the Gold Coast ‘bookends’.
“We already have serviced apartments north in Southport and south in Broadbeach and they are very robust performers," he said.
“The new tower will be the icing on our serviced apartments business on the Gold Coast.
“And the apartments and penthouses that will sit above the serviced suites will be the best we’ve built in our 35 years on the Gold Coast.
“A site like the one we are buying directly across the road from the beach and a stroll from the heart of Surfers and the light‐rail system, is blue chip and deserves a standout project.
“We will employ highly‐rated architects and their brief will include ensuring every room in every apartment has views.”
Meriton will complete Sundale, the final stage of its 1600 apartment Brighton on Broadwater community in Southport, in December and will move its construction team on to the Surfers Paradise project.
The deal was brokered by Roland Evans from Canford Property Group and Meriton Group acquisitions manager Angelo Mantsis.

Meriton contemplates 90 storey Surfers Paradise highrise

Meriton, Australia’s largest apartment developer, is selling its strata-title management business.
It looks after more than 6000 apartments in Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Harry Triguboff, the Meriton founder, said that the move was a response to wholesale reforms to the strata-title laws in NSW, which come into effect on December 1.
“One of those reforms effectively shuts Meriton, and other developers, out of having any role in the strata-management of their properties until the buildings are 10 years old,” he said.
“We are veterans in this business and haven’t taken the decision to exit it lightly.
“We’ve always run our own ship at our own developments and things have gone swimmingly and with great success.
Meriton is selling an entity which trades as Meriton Strata Management Pty Ltd and looks after 6194 lots spread over 33 schemes. Two of those are on the Gold Coast and are included in the selloff.
Meriton’s Ryan Walmsley said the gross annual income from base management fees and insurance commissions exceeded $1.1 million.
“There is potential upside from other expenses and fees that apply within each management contract.”
Mr Walmsley said two-thirds of the strata-management schemes in Meriton’s portfolio were under contract until 2018 or longer.
“The strata-scheme properties involved are in a metropolitan location and have been with us for many years.
 “Our portfolio will offer a great addition for any operator on the expansion trail.
“They will be buying well-maintained schemes that are big and viable – they have an average of 188 lots.”
Mr Walmsley said it had been evident for some time that strata-management companies were jostling for position and aggressively were targeting acquisitions.
“That’s happening against a backdrop of Australia turning into a nation of apartment dwellers.
“Nearly one third of NSW residents already live in apartments and one estimate is that the figure could climb to 50 per cent by 2040.”

Strata reforms trigger Meriton exit from strata management

Developers Meriton are building a stormwater diversion project in Sydney's northern beaches suburb of Dee Why ahead of their development of the 18 level 356 apartment complex named the Lighthouse to be built on the corner of Pittwater Road and Howard Avenue.
Lighthouse will be built on the site purchased from Canadian group Brookfield for $52 million in 2013.
The development will eventually become a four-tower project with an upmarket retail centre, childcare facilities and commercial suites on the 1.44ha site.
The civil project, approved after extensive flood modelling of the development site, will divert existing stormwater system to alleviate previous flooding issues .
Meriton head Harry Triguboff said the aim was to provide Dee Why with a pulsating community heart.
“We intend to make this new town centre a vibrant destination for Dee Why’s residents – it will give the whole suburb a lift.”
The complex will contain 356 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, along with a number of resident facilities.

Harry Triguboff, the owner and head of property developer Meriton Group, tops the 2016 BRW Rich 200 list for the first time after having appeared in all 33 editions in its history.
Triguboff displaced mining tycoon Gina Rinehart, who had occupied the number one slot from 2010, as a strong real estate market and the end of the resources boom change the face of wealth in Australia, the Australian Financial Review reported.
The property developer topped the <a href="https://www.afr.com/leadership/brw-lists/brw-rich-200-list-2016-20160526-gp4ejn" target="_blank">BRW Rich List</a> with $10.62 billion wealth. 
Despite market talk that the property market is slowing and there could be an oversupply of apartments, Triguboff said Meriton is on course to sell $1.2 billion worth of apartments in 2016.  
He is also keeping more units to rent out.
"So if we slow down a little, I don't mind. The buyers are still coming, even from China, and younger people are wanting to rent these days rather than buy as well. So we are okay," he was quoted by AFR.
The second spot belongs to Anthony Pratt, executive chairman of the cardboard box and recycling giant Visy in Australia and Pratt Industries in the US. He and his family's wealth is $10.35 billion.
Retail giant Westfield chairman Frank Lowy is third with $8.26 billion. 
Rinehart's wealth fell to $6.06 billion from $14.02 billion last year, due to a combination of falling commodity prices and a legal battle that saw her daughter Bianca get control of a 23 per cent stake in Hancock Prospecting, the report said.
Bianca Rinehart debuts on the list with $905 million wealth.
Other notable names include shopping centre magnate John Gandel, half-owner of the Chadstone mall in Melbourne -- the largest in the southern hemisphere. Gandel's wealth is $5.40 billion.
Chinese property billionaire Hui Wing Mau, who holds Australian citizenship after studying in South Australia in the early 1990s, is sixth with $5.39 billion.
James Packer is at seventh spot with $5 billion while Fortescue Metals Group chairman Andrew Forrest is eight at $3.33 billion, ahead of another mining magnate in Glencore boss Ivan Glasenberg who also has $3.33 billion wealth.
David and Vicky Teoh of TPG Telecom round off the top 10 with $3.08 billion wealth.

“I don’t think (Sydney apartment) prices will rise very much now. New stock is coming on,” Triguboff said.
Meriton builds about 3,000 units a year in Sydney and south-east Queensland, but this figure will ramp up on the back of recent purchases.
Meriton has recently spent $340 million on Sydney sites — $250 million for Goodman Group’s Sydney Olympic Park parcel, and yesterday, $90 million for the six hectare balance of British American Tobacco’s Pagewood property.
Condon says there's one more big undisclosed Sydney acquisition likely.
However, Triguboff told The Australian the wave of new development under way would begin tempering what has been raging price growth for Sydney apartments.
After the next site buy, Triguboff says it will take something special to tempt him into buying mode again.
It was 2013 when he spent $145 million for the initial land parcel in Pagewood where Meriton initially planned to build 2,000 units.
It now envisages developing a $3 billion masterplanned community comprising more than 3000 apartments after securing the last of British American Tobacco Australia’s Pagewood manufacturing site.
“It is very seldom that a site of this size is not surrounded by industrial estates,” Triguboff said.
“We have full confidence in developing these huge sites in Mascot, Homebush, the city and now Pagewood. We believe that more people will settle in central Sydney, and we have to take into account growth in foreign students, workers and tourists as well as natural growth and the settlement of migrants.”
The development is to be called Pagewood Green.

Harry Triguboff spends further $90 million on Pagewood highrise site

Meriton’s Epping Park, their biggest northern district project, has now launched with 800 apartments in a precinct of 17 buildings. Around 600 apartments have already sold with residents moving in.
The 17 apartment blocks range from three storeys to six storeys and will include a retail store, childcare centre, tennis courts, gymnasiums, lap pools, playgrounds and barbeque areas.
The plaque for the masterplanned community, previously the site of Channel Seven studios, was unveiled by John Alexander, federal Member for Bennelong.
The precinct is within Meriton’s $1.2 million bushland reserve.
Meriton’s managing director Harry Triguboff said that they always celebrate when they are near to the completion of the building, rather than the beginning or end of the process.
“We are immensely proud of Epping Park and believe that these apartments will continue to bring prosperity to what is now a top-tier suburb,” said Triguboff.
Mainly two bedroom open plan apartments are available in <a href="https://www.meriton.com.au/eppingpark" target="_blank">Epping Park</a>, as well as some one bedroom, three bedroom and a few four bedroom apartment offerings.
All apartments have six-star thermal ratings.
Completion is expected in early 2015, with stage three currently selling off the plan.

Seemingly focussed on the old proverb "the more the merrier", Harry Triguboff’s Meriton group has a record eight cranes on its mega inner Sydney development site Mascot Central.
Given that the number of cranes to dot a skyline has long been an economic barometer, it seems that Sydney is abundantly healthy.
The crane craze is a result of Meriton’s decision to develop the master planned project as a single venture rather than over stages. 
It will have 1000 apartments, 255 serviced apartments, a 3,200 square metre Woolworths and 16 other retailers. There will also be a lap pool, kids pool, a gymnasium and childcare centre.

Harry Triguboff said: "We can build all at once here because 60% of the site we will sell; 20% will be serviced apartments; and 20% will be leased residential." 
"So we don’t have to find so many buyers at once. We will not depress the market. To do all this, we put up four tower cranes and when necessary, we also have mobile cranes,” said Triguboff.
The site was purchased last year for $100 million from the Goodman Group.
The company was responsible for 0.03% of the nation’s GDP in 2013.
