A $4.35 million sale in Parkville topped Melbourne's sales of townhouses and apartments over the past week. It was a four bedroom, five bathroom abode featuring four levels of luxurious living with stone finishes, high-end European appliances, four-car garage, wine library, internal lift and top-level glass sky-roof that retracts to an expansive rooftop terrace. The sale advisory came from Carlo Lorusso at In2realty Carlton. The sale was in the award winning complex at 535 to 541 Royal Parade designed by the architect Koos de Keijzer from DKO Architecture. The project won the the Small Scale Development of the year award at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Awards for Excellence in 2020. It was a collaboration between DKO Architecture and interior designer Sue Carr of Carr Design Group and landscape architect Jack Merlo. The 20 residence development was undertaken by Oliver Hume Property Funds. Launched in 2016, Parkville by Oliver Hume was completed in late 2019 located on a site bounded by Royal Parade, The Avenue and the Capital City Trail. Melbourne's next priciest sale advisory was $2 million for a two bedroom warehouse style apartment at 15/93 Oxford Street, Collingwood through Jellis Craig. It came with a rooftop terrace in the historic Foy & Gibson precinct.
