The Block audience numbers pick up as contestants move into South Melbourne

The Block 2012’s first night in situ at Dorcas Street South Melbourne averaged a strong 1.43 million audience.

It was a nice fillip for the blockbuster reality series, whose ratings had trailed off a bit during its initial opening week when the contestants were chosen.
