Brisbane-based developer and builder, Gardner Vaughan Group, is expanding its foothold across South East Queensland.

Already one of the most established builder-developers in both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Gardner Vaughan is now making its move into the Gold Coast

They've secured a site on Mawarra Street on Chevron Island, and will soon submit plans for Bronze on Chevron, 119 apartments tailored for the modern coastal lifestyle.

The project, due to launch in early 2026, includes a curated selection of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments. Two ground-floor retail tenancies will complement the vibrant village atmosphere of Chevron Island.

Designed with downsizers in mind, Bronze on Chevron will reflect GVG’s signature focus on quality, livability, and enduring design, principles that have earned the company a loyal following throughout the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions.

“Our entry into the Gold Coast is both a strategic and natural evolution of our business,” said Simon Betteridge, Chief Executive officer of GVG.

“We’ve long admired the Gold Coast’s lifestyle offering, cultural vibrancy and strong demand for thoughtfully designed homes. We’re excited to bring our approach to development into this dynamic market.”

GVG’s move into the Gold Coast builds on the success of a series of landmark developments across South East Queensland including Zinc in Bokarina, Renovaré in Yeronga, Estilo on the Park in Chermside, and Stonebrook in Stones Corner.

With a fully integrated in-house model - managing everything from site acquisition through to construction and sales - GVG has built a reputation for reliability and proudly maintains a 100% project completion rate.

“We’re not just entering a new postcode - we’re becoming part of a new neighbourhood,” added Betteridge.

“Our goal is to create places people are proud to call home, and we’re looking forward to working closely with local stakeholders to deliver on that promise.”
