Prichard name, stalwart of Sydney eastern suburbs real estate, disappears in BradfieldCleary rebranding
The Prichard name, which has been associated with Sydney eastern suburbs real estate since 1927, has disappeared.
Bradfield & Prichard has been rebranded BradfieldCleary, highlighting the latest appointment of a principal to the Double Bay agency, Georgia Cleary.
Estate agent Bob Guth acquired Bradfield and Prichard in 1980 from Peter Bradfield and Barry Prichard, whose fathers, Percy Bradfield and Roy Prichard, established the company in 1927.
The agency retains the Bradfield name which is held in huge esteem given Percy’s father was John Job Crew Bradfield the engineer, town planner and dedicated public servant, best known for his pivotal role in the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Since 1980 the agency has gone from strength to strength with mid-tier sales reliability. It also manages one of the largest property portfolios in the eastern suburbs.
The name change follows the 2012 appointment of salesperson Georgia Cleary as a partner and director.
During 23 years selling eastern suburbs real estate, Cleary has worked for McGrath, WJ Bridges and Di Jones before merging her own agency with B&P in February 2006.
The avid eastern suburbs sales enthusiasts have a network of loyal clients.
They even suggest there's hardly a street in the eastern suburbs in which they haven't sold property.
The agency has a database of 12,000 who receive the weekly realestatement email newsletter.
