A slender, sculptural tower designed by acclaimed architects Candalepas Associates will soon rise just moments from Hyde Park, following the demolition of the Polding Centre on Liverpool Street, formerly home to the Sydney Archdiocese.

The project, known as Hyde Metropolitan, is being delivered by leading Sydney developer Deicorp and will now combine a boutique hotel of 100 rooms with 170 luxury residences positioned above, capturing panoramic views over Hyde Park, the city skyline, and Sydney Harbour.

Residents will enjoy amenities including a 20-metre podium pool, outdoor terraces with barbecue facilities, and a gym. A dedicated concierge service, a signature ground-floor restaurant, and a Skybar on level six complete the offering for residents and hotel guests.

Positioned within steps of Museum Station and the new Gadigal Metro, Hyde Metropolitan offers unparalleled connectivity to Sydney’s transport network, luxury retail, cultural institutions and the city’s world-class dining scene.

“The Hyde Park precinct is on the cusp of a real shift, not just in look and feel, but in how people live and connect here,” said Fouad Deiri, Founder of Deicorp

“With Oxford Street set to re-emerge as one of Sydney’s most vibrant destinations, Tech Central on the doorstep, and the new metro only a block away, Hyde Metropolitan sits at the heart of a precinct being purposefully reimagined for the future."

Deiri says they have considered every detail, from the architecture to the lifestyle amenities, to create a building that celebrates Hyde Park’s legacy while offering a level of sophistication rarely seen in CBD living.

“The addition of a boutique hotel makes Hyde Metropolitan both a landmark residential address and a destination in its own right. It brings together homes, hospitality, and lifestyle in one of Sydney’s most connected locations."

The interiors feature winter gardens, timber flooring, curated palettes, and high-end finishes.

Demolition of the former Polding Centre is now complete, with construction now underway. Hyde Metropolitan is now selling, with residences priced from $1.48 million.
