A very striking new project, Cirqua - with eye popping circular windows - has had 12 sales in the past fortnight at Ivanhoe East.

Designed by Simon Knott of BKK Architecture, Cirqua is situated at 206 Lower Heidelberg Road.

It comprises 44 bespoke apartments - one, two and three bedrooms.

Buyers are being offered individually articulated interior floor plans by the developer, Jim Fagan of Cubik who is collaborating with Martin Adams.

"We wanted to have an inherent sense of architectural beauty about it,” he said.

Circular motifs are used throughout the interiors, from a circular vanity mirror to circular mosaics that grace the bathroom tiles.

"The 20th century Arts & Craft movement conceived homes as part of a total ensemble that also included not only the architecture, but also the garden," he added.

ABC’s Gardening Australia presenter, John Patrick advised on the surrounding landscape and private courtyards with native plants and trees.

Some courtyards will be as large as 100 square metres.

The Cirqua display suite is situated at 204-206 Lower Heidelberg Road.
