They are planning to move the Errima-based charity to Victoria after the decision was made for a 60-metre NBN tower to be built nearby.

Set on 13.3 hectares, the French provincial style, self-sustainable village has been listed through Jo Eady at One Agency Launceston.
In 2013 Ronnie was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for his significant service to the community, particularly to children recovering from illness and trauma, and the entertainment industry.

There were 2,480 capital city auctions over the week ending September 25, with CoreLogic collecting results for 2,250 (almost 91%) of these auctions.
The final clearance rate was recorded at 75.4%, which was lower than the 76.2% across 2,149 auctions the previous week.

Last week in Melbourne, there were 1,103 auctions compared to 965 auctions the previous week. Last week’s auction clearance rate was recorded at 77.2% which was slightly lower than the 77.8% the previous week. In Sydney, the auction clearance rate was recorded at 80.4% last week, which was lower than the 81.6% recorded over the previous week.
Sydney recorded a higher number of auctions last week (945) compared to the previous week (815). In Melbourne, auction clearance rates have now been above 75% for seven consecutive weeks. In Sydney, auction clearance rates have been above 80% for four consecutive weeks and for five of the past six weeks.

There were 45,675 newly advertised properties added to the market nationally over the past 28 days, which was -0.4% lower than at the same time a year ago. Meanwhile, there were 233,315 total properties advertised for sale over the same period – some -0.3% lower than a year ago.
Across the combined capital cities, there were 27,443 newly advertised listings over the past 28 days, -3.1% lower than a year ago. There were 104,439 total listings, which was 5.3% higher than a year ago. Newly advertised listings are currently lower than a year ago in Sydney (-18.3%), Melbourne (-2.3%) and Adelaide with new listings higher elsewhere.
In terms of total properties advertised for sale, supply is lower than a year ago in Sydney (-2.7%), Hobart (-25.7%) and Canberra (-8.2%).
Despite the fact that new and total listings are slightly lower year on year, both are continuing to trend higher, indicating that stock levels are slowly rising.

Property listings still low, but stock levels on the rise: CoreLogic

There are far fewer auctions scheduled across the capital cities this coming weekend, with the NRL and AFL grand finals both scheduled to take place, as well as a number of long weekends, according to CoreLogic's latest market report.
The sharpest fall away in auction volumes is in Melbourne, where, after hosting 1,103 auctions last week, only 74 are currently being tracked.
In Sydney, the fall away is less drastic, with 420 auctions scheduled, compared to 946 last week.
The AFL Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday afternoon in Melbourne, with Victorians enjoying a public holiday on the Friday, while the NRL Grand Final will take place in Sydney on Sunday evening.
Outside of Sydney and Melbourne, auction activity is lower on a week-on-week basis in all other cities. Brisbane is the only city that isn’t showing a major fall in auction activity, down from 144 last week to 104 this week.

Summary of last week’s results:
Last week, just over three quarters of all reported auctions were sold (75.4%), representing a slight fall in clearance rates over the week, down from 76.2% the previous week. Auction volumes were up over the week, with 2,480 capital city auctions held.
For the fourth consecutive week, Sydney’s final clearance rate remained above the 80% mark, reported at 80.4%, falling slightly from 81.6% over the previous week.
Despite the rise in auction activity, with 1,103 auctions held across the city, Melbourne’s clearance rate remained stable over the week, at 77.2%.

Outside of the two major auction markets, Adelaide was the strongest performer, with 78.2% of the 119 reported auctions clearing, followed by Canberra at 68.4%.
New South Wales’ Hunter region and Queensland’s Gold Coast both saw a weekly rise in both clearance rates and auction activity last week, while in each of the other three regional markets that CoreLogic monitors, clearance rates were lower over the week.

Grand Final weekend sees auction volume dip: CoreLogic

Some 9.6% of Hobart houses and 14.5% of units resold over the June 2016 quarter were at a loss, according to the latest CoreLogic Pain and Gain report. 
The CoreLogic report compares the most recent sale price to the previous sale price in order to determine whether the property sold at a gross profit or gross loss.
Both property types recorded an increase over the quarter, however year on year there's some joy – 13.5% of Hobart homes resold over the June 2015 quarter were at a loss.
The Hobart metropolitian council regions with the highest proportion of loss making resales over the quarter were: Brighton (18.2%), Derwent Valley (17.4%) and Sorell (15.0%).

The report compares the most recent sale price to the previous sale price in order to determine whether the property sold at a gross profit or gross loss.
Some 2.5% of Sydney houses and 2.1% of units resold at a loss over the second quarter of 2016, with the proportion of loss-making resales remaining at near record lows.
Only 2% of homes resold in Sydney over the second quarter of 2015 sold at a loss.

Fairfield ranks as Sydney's weakest property location: CoreLogic

Developer Fridcorp will deliver a visionary masterplan to Hurstville with its $700 million BEYOND project, creating a new precinct for the area where sculptural towers will rise above a vibrant retail plaza.
Designed by architecture firm DKO Architecture with interiors by Woods Bagot and landscaping by Openwork, BEYOND will form a mini-urban village in the lively and evolving suburb of Hurstville. Located at 93 Forest Road, BEYOND will comprise a mix of 556 one, two and three bedroom apartments across four sculptural buildings that vary from eight to twenty levels across the 13,927 square metre site.
One bedroom apartments range from 50 to 61 square metres and are priced from $565,000 - $825,000. Two bedroom apartments range from 75 to 92 square metres and are priced from $840,000 to $1,140,000. Three bedrooms range from 95 to 107 square metres and are priced from $1,225,000 to $1,675,000. All floor plan square metre ranges exclude balconies.
BEYOND will provide residents and the local community with a 5,000 square metre landscaped retail plaza that will create a sense of place, as well as a connection to the neighbouring Kempt Field Park via walkways lined with lush plantings. The new retail plaza, which will be a contemporary interpretation on an urban laneway, will link the existing retail plaza to steps that lead down to Kempt Field, creating direct access to the Allawah train station.

Anchored by a 3,500 square metre Woolworths supermarket, the BEYOND retail precinct will comprise a further 1,000 square metres of specialty retail, cafes and restaurants, welcoming activity from dawn til dusk.
“Fridcorp is excited to offer buyers thoughtfully designed apartments with immediate access to incredible amenity, which will help drive the evolution of Hurstville,” says Paul Fridman, founder and director of Fridcorp. “The success of our Eve project in Erskineville demonstrated that there is an appetite for our quality designed product in Sydney that appeals to a sophisticated audience.”
DKO has designed the buildings with soft curves to create a beautiful sculptural element for the Hurstville skyline. Façades consist of precast bronze glazing and metal cladding with filigreed balustrades lining balconies. Textural brickwork at the base of the two lower buildings draws from the site’s history as a quarry.
“BEYOND will bring a fresh and sophisticated urban precinct to Hurstville,” says Nicholas Byrne, director at DKO Architecture and the project’s lead architect. “It will also provide apartments with high amenity that respond to the site’s opportunities, such as light-filled interiors and spectacular north-eastern views toward Sydney’s CBD, southern views toward Botany Bay, and eastern views toward Kempt Field.”
Featuring resident-only communal areas on the second level on two of the buildings, BEYOND offers more than 4,000 square metres of recreational space that includes facilities for yoga, badminton and reading pods, as well as barbeque and dining areas.

Woods Bagot has designed BEYOND’s apartment interiors with wide frontages and full-height glazing, providing residents with expansive views, as well as open plan living, dining and kitchen areas catering to the relaxed Sydney lifestyle.
“These apartments give buyers the opportunity to live in a considered, designed space with thoughtful and elegant interiors and great views,” says Jacqui Senior, senior interior designer at Woods Bagot. “The potential for the area is enormous and BEYOND will definitely be a one-of-a-kind place for Hurstville.”
The inspiration for the interior design was gold and navy. Whilst navy is a traditional palette it has been interpreted in a contemporary way, with white walls and custom navy joinery embellished with brushed brass fittings throughout apartments for the dark colour scheme. A light colour scheme of pale grey and white is also available.

Meticulous details and refined materials define BEYOND’s understated and elegant bathrooms. Large format tiles will line the floors and walls and mosaic feature tiles in either navy or pale grey will compose the feature vanity wall. The bathrooms are appointed with custom oval sinks, brushed gold finish tapware and elegant curved edge mirrored cabinets.

A truly connected suburb, BEYOND residents will benefit from Hurstville’s close proximity to Sydney’s CBD which is only twenty minutes by train. The report found that 5.5% of houses and 17.3% of units sold for a loss over the June quarter, up from 5.3% and 14.5% respectively in the previous quarter.

The council areas with the highest proportion of loss-making resales over the quarter were: Light (42.9%), Playford (27.7%) and Salisbury (12.7%).
Over the June 2015 quarter, 9.6% of Adelaide resales were at a gross loss, with the highest proportions of loss-making resales over the quarter at the same time last year were recorded in Playford (28.3%), Mallala (20.0%) and Gawler (19.8%).

Adelaide recovers, but one in four Playford sellers lose money: CoreLogic

Highest and lowest turnover of housing stock: Lowest turnover over the past 12 months in resource towns while lifestyle markets and new housing areas seeing higher levels of turnover
Research out today by CoreLogic shows that over the past year a shortage of properties coming to market for sale is beginning to impact on property market conditions with most capital cities and major regional areas of the country affected. Added to this, affordability constraints appear to be preventing some market segments from being more active.
Over the 12 months to June 2016, just 4.9% of total dwelling stock nationally transacted. Based on this figure it would take around 20.5 years for the total national housing stock to turnover.
According to CoreLogic property market analyst Cameron Kusher, the low turnover rate also highlights why price-based measurements such as median prices are not the most reliable for tracking value movements across the housing market given that so little of the total housing stock actually transacts in any given year.
Note: A turnover figure is different to the often quoted average hold period figure. Turnover looks at the proportion of total stock which is selling while the hold period calculation looks only at those homes transacting and measures the length of time between sales. The two figures highlight that there are properties which transact on a more regular basis while there are others which rarely sell.
For today’s summary, CoreLogic highlights the 25 council areas nationally that had the lowest turnover of housing stock over the year to June 2016.

Mr Kusher said, “What is immediately noticeable is the prevalence of regions linked the resources sector. These areas have been characterised as having plenty of properties for sale but few people actively looking to buy. As a result, in some of these regions only a small overall proportion of housing stock has actually transacted.”
For this analysis, CoreLogic also identified 25 council regions to record the greatest turnover of housing stock over the past year across coastal and lifestyle markets. It also includes a number of council areas where there has been significant housing supply additions over the year.
Mr Kusher said, “The increased level of turnover in lifestyle markets indicates that the popularity of purchases in these markets has returned after many years in the doldrums.”

Lodged as a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) through the Housing Delivery Authority (HDA) pathway and approved by the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure following a comprehensive public exhibition and submissions process, <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/153-walker-street-north-sydney-nsw-2060">the project</a> will deliver 296 apartments, alongside a 170-room, luxury hotel, activated retail and significant public domain improvements.

Situated just 200 metres from Victoria Cross Metro Station, on one of the largest developable sites in North Sydney, the development will rise to 234 metres, making it one of the tallest buildings in the suburb. With an end value of approximately $1.5 billion, the project responds directly to the NSW Government’s mandate to accelerate housing delivery in well-located, transit-connected areas.

The apartment mix will cater to a broad range of buyers, with 65 studio and one-bedroom apartments, 139 two-bedroom residences, 35 three-bedroom apartments, 48 four-bedroom homes, and nine penthouses. Architectus has designed the tower, orientating the apartments to maximise views towards Sydney Harbour while introducing a sculpted façade intended to respond to light, wind and the surrounding skyline.

Architectus Principal Marko Damic said the design sought to create a tower that contributes to the public realm as much as the skyline.

"We wanted to design a tower that doesn't just sit in the skyline but actively participates and contributes to city life," Damic said.
