Why Ivanhoe locals are choosing to downsize to Candela

<p>Mark and Roy Makari are expanding their presence in Sydney’s South West with a second major proposal for Leppington, this time envisioning a 900-dwelling mixed-use development just 850 metres from their previously lodged tower trio on Fifth Avenue.</p>

<p>Project management and construction management firm Creative Vision filed the plans for the&nbsp;multi-building project at <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/230-rickard-road-leppington-nsw-2179">230 Rickard Road, Leppington</a>. The proposal seeks to establish a new focal point for the precinct through a high-density, transit-oriented development supported by diverse land uses.</p>

<p>According to the Scoping Report prepared for the Department of Planning, the scheme includes around 900 apartments across multiple towers, including 135 dwellings designated for affordable housing. A mix of market and subsidised apartments will be supported by ground-level activation through retail and office space, a childcare centre, and a hotel, forming a comprehensive urban precinct.</p>

<p>The project will be assessed through a future State Significant Development Application, with the Scoping Report indicating the team will seek design excellence via a competitive process or through an expert design review panel. <p>Only completed last year, the home has five bedrooms, including a master with its own sitting area, walk in wardrobe and ensuite which spans the entire length of the top level.</p>

<p>Born in Bankstown, Holman started his soccer career at Parramatta Power in the NSL before joining Dutch club Feyenoord in 2002.</p>

<p>Holman left Holland in 2012 to join Aston Villa in the English Premier League for a season then went on to play in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.</p>

Socceroo Tim Cahill lists Melbourne home

<p>Former Socceroo Peter 'The Kat' Katholos is selling half of the Belmore duplex that he built.</p>
<p>Katholos, who played for Australian on 25 occasions, bought what was a 1950s double brick property in 2016 before <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-duplex+semi+detached-nsw-belmore-128469374" target="_blank">building the state of the art dwelling.</a></p>
<p>Constructed from double-brick, the four bedroom, three bathroom home features commercial stacker doors which open to an alfresco dining area.</p>
<p>Michael Sabongi at Professionals Belmore had $1.4 million hopes, before reducing them to $1.35 million.</p>
<p>Katholos played as a midfielder for Sydney Olympic FC in the now defunct ANSL. He now runs online sports store footballdepot.</p>
<p>In 1982 he was voted Australian footballer of the year.</p>

<p>Despite spending most of his time in Cyprus where he plays his club football, the midfielder has spent $1,225,000 on a Mermaid Beach home (above and below.)</p>
<p>The late 1960s home was marketed as having to potential to be a renovation or redevelopment project.</p>
<p>It has three bedrooms and one bathroom on its 405 sqm Sunbrite Avenue parcel (pictured below), just 200 metres from the beach.</p>
