Gavin Rubinstein is whispered to be heading to Woollahra where he will still operate under the Ray White network.
He is destined for Queen Street, Woollahra, the upmarket district where Randall Kemp has fronted the national brand from Moncur Street.
Kemp and Rubinstein are suppose to work collaboratively, as Rubinstein seeks listings in Bellevue Hill, Rose Bay, Vaucluse, Dover Heights, Double Bay and Bondi.
Rubinstein, along with his current five members of The Rubinstein Group, has been with Ray White Double Bay for more than a decade. 
His only recent social media tweet has been: Don’t follow the path. Blaze the trail. 
It is understood he will own the agency business.

Sydney socialite Barbara Coombes, executive assistant at Coombes Property, commented on the post, writing that the image was "cool &amp; perfectly styled might I add."
Lavers also posted after the big announcement to Instagram a picture of the extended team including Remi Quinlivan.
The decision that ended Rubinstein's time at Ray White came after the newly installed Double Bay chief Elliott Placks returned from a holiday in Mauritius celebrating his 10th anniversary with wife Lauren Smorgon.
The Rubinstein Group website is down.
But team member Jerome Srot was taking his mobile calls.
There is no indication yet as to Rubinstein's plans.

Gavin Rubinstein adds Hudson McHugh agent Bradley Plos to his team

Ray White sales agent Gavin Rubinstein, the number one agent with the real estate giant, has bought a Potts Point investment apartment.
He's gone off-market to pay $1.88 million for a 120 sqm apartment in the Rockwall building on the Macleay Street dress circle.
He has been a resident on nearby Wylde Street in what has been a $2200 a week rental.

Rubinstein is seeking a tenant at $1,350 a week, which would reflect a 3.7 percent yield.
Socialite Heidi Onisforou has owned the building's penthouse since 2016 when she paid $4.4 million. She snapped up the apartment just one day in to its marketing.
It was the last sale in the tightly held block.
Last month Rubinstein, who has previously used the publicity firm of Roxy Jacenko to publicise his achievements, was named Ray White's number one agent for the <a href="/news/ray-white-remuera-beats-out-double-bay-again-but-gavin-rubinstein-takes-the-top-residential-spot-for-sixth-time">sixth consecutive year.</a>
This time last year Rubinstein sold $50 million worth of properties in <a href="/news/ray-whites-gavin-rubinstein-sells-50-million-worth-of-properties-in-19-days">just 19 days.</a>
None took to ratemyagent, with Rubinstein having no favourable reviews for two years now.
Earlier this week the Ray White Double Bay business was <a href="/news/ray-white-double-bay-founders-craig-pontey-and-michael-finger-sell-out-to-elliott-placks">sold to his colleague Elliott Placks</a>.
The agency sold $930 million of property in the last year.
The dynamic salesman likes the international highlife, regularly taking off for short stays at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA.

Ray White number one agent Gavin Rubinstein splashes out in Potts Point

Ray White Remuera has again been named the top office in the Ray White Group.
It was for the third year in a row.
Edging out Double Bay, the Auckland business won the award based on the highest settled commission.
Ray White Double Bay - with the dress circle address in Sydney’s eastern suburbs - had more than $930 million in residential sales.
The year saw a return of the lower north shore office in Sydney to the top 10.
Ray White Remuera principal Megan Jaffe said credit goes to the team effort.
The award came after a year in which the Ray White Group sold $45.4 billion in property.
It compared to $44.7 billion in annual sales in 2016-17, which was raised to $45.7 billion once all the sales were tallied.
The group also revealed its top-performing principal and agent for 2017-18 with Andrew Jolliffe (pictured below) announced as the company's number one principal internationally.

Sydney-based Mr Jolliffe, headed up the group's hospitality and leisure arm in the Asia-Pacific.

Ray White Remuera beats out Double Bay again, but Gavin Rubinstein takes the top residential spot for sixth time

Gavin Rubinstein, who started as a personal assistant when he entered the real estate industry aged 20, won last year's national AREA award for excellence in customer service.

The Ray White Double Bay agent won the award at the Annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs), hosted by REA Group, the parent company of realestate.com.au.
The 2017 nominations close June 30 for the next awards.
At the time he won he was exceeding $250 million worth of sales over the prior 12 months.
One of his celebrity clients, tailor Patrick Johnson and interior designer wife Tamsin, sold their Darling Point apartment for $1,775,000 earlier this year.
Rubinstein says he "never sugar coats" the situation with sellers.
"I always tell my clients what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear,” he said.
“Even before the agency agreement is signed, I make myself available to my clients around the clock. My mornings start at 5am and my evenings go late into the night so I am always on the task at hand and my clients know this about me should they need to make contact.”
Rubinstein says he has found technology, media and social media was a great way to stay in touch on a mass scale.

"I think you have got to shut out all of the noise and just work damn hard," Rubinstein recently told Elite Agent.
"That’s the key. You could talk about all of these tricks and you can wrap it up in a pretty bow, all sorts of fluff, but at the end of the day, hard work trumps it all."
