It’s been 15 long years since the former Balmain Leagues Club was open to the public. The large 7,330 sqm Victoria Road site had grown progressively more derelict since the doors to the former club shut back in 2010.

Earlier this year, the vertically integrated developer PERIFA, part of the Versatile Group of companies, stepped in and acquired the site, quickly getting to work on construction through its building business Versatile Construction.

Buyers weren’t prepared to wait any longer to purchase. When it was time to start selling the development, PERIFA and SRM Residential had buyers queuing out of the display suite door. Having wracked up a swat of awards for their residential developments in Penrith, including Navali, Lumina and The Henry, Urban are set to transform Edmondson Park in their latest project, with plans for four buildings on a site fronting Buchan Avenue.&nbsp;

Sydney property developers to build residential precinct in Edmondson Park

Chemistworks, Myhealth medical centre, and Anytime Fitness have been announced as the three new tenants at Western Sydney's Ed.Square town centre.
The tenancies are apparently part of the planned community’s sustained initiative to attract health services.
It has also confirmed that a massage and acupuncture specialist, sporting goods retailer, pathologist, and childcare operator will be among the first batch of tenants, while a radiologist is currently being sought out for the project.
The Frasers Property group collaborating with HDR, GroupGSA and HASSELL are behind the development, which when completed, is expected to incorporate 1,884 homes in a mix of apartments, terraces and ‘mews’-style townhouses.

New tenants announced for Western Sydney's Ed.Square

A DA approved residential development site in south-west Sydney has been listed for sale. 
The 7,818 square metre site at <a href="https://www.raywhite.com/nsw/edmondson-park/1631851/" target="_blank">245 Croatia Avenue</a> is approximately 650 metres from Edmondson Park railway station.
It has been approved for 105 mostly two bedroom units.
The marketing campaign is being handled by Ray White Commercial's Scott Timbrell and Nic George.
“Edmondson Park is a major land release area in the south-west growth region of Sydney,” Timbrell said.
