A local downsizer has spent $6.25 million on a sub-penthouse in The Parker, just 24 apartments on the the doorstep of Caulfield Park. The sale equated to $23,000 per sqm.

The buyer was drawn to the&nbsp;park-fronted lifestyle and panoramic city and bay views.

Abadeen launches The Parker in Caulfield North, secures $6.25 million sub-penthouse sale

It’s been 15 long years since the former Balmain Leagues Club was open to the public. The large 7,330 sqm Victoria Road site had grown progressively more derelict since the doors to the former club shut back in 2010.

Earlier this year, the vertically integrated developer PERIFA, part of the Versatile Group of companies, stepped in and acquired the site, quickly getting to work on construction through its building business Versatile Construction.

PERIFA teamed up with financier Mitsubishi Estate Asia to create <a href="https://www.apartments.com.au/new-apartments/rozelle-village-rozelle-152-victoria-road-rozelle-nsw-2039">Rozelle Village</a>, a new community heart of the charming inner west suburb. Sutherland Shire locals have staked their claim at Dwell, the Sutherland apartment development by Altitude NSW Pty Ltd.

The $30 million worth of sales means half of the 47 one, two and three-bedroom apartments are already spoken for.

Luke Barbuto, Head of Project Marketing for Highland, says&nbsp;the demand has come from within the local area.

Cronulla developer Sammut Group have hit major milestones at two of their&nbsp;

Their $65 million, office and retail development PARC, has broken ground, while their $18 million residential project SALT in South Cronulla, has topped out.

SALT, designed by Innovate Architects, comprises four full-floor luxury apartments each with 143 sqm of internal living space and a further 36 sqm across two large balconies.

Sammut Group Chief Operating Officer Julian Sammut says the residential project is significant for Sammut Group as it links back to the company’s origins.

"We are delighted to mark this significant milestone towards the completion of SALT," Sammut says.

"This project relates back to Sammut Group’s original product, opulent oversized apartments, providing residents with an exclusive lifestyle in a boutique, state-of-the-art development."

Located at 44 Gerrale Street Cronulla, the luxury development adds to the already strong presence Sammut Group has in Cronulla with its future developments, VUE and PARC, only a short distance away.

RAW Constructions, a family-operated construction company, is handling the build of SALT, which is expected to complete construction toward the end of the year.

The same building firm are construction Sammut's mixed-use commercial and hospitality development, PARC, where they've just broken ground.

Also designed by Innovate Architects, the $65 million development comprises seven storeys with a two-level multi-venue hospitality space soon to be operated by Feros Group, and five levels of commercial space. A further floor will be dedicated to a co-working space operated by Sammut Group.

Located at 138-142 Cronulla Street, PARC will take full advantage of its park-side location, with various suites at all levels taking in green views over the open space.

Sammut says PARC is delivering a much-needed level of commercial office space to the area and further demonstrates Sammut Group’s long-term commitment to Cronulla.
