Grand Mt Eliza home passed up by Hugh Jackman listed for auction
Mortgagees have listed a grand Mt Eliza home for September 9 auction.
It last sold for $3.92 million in 2008.
The luxurious 95-square (883-square-metre) Pelican Place beachfront home was constructed in the late 1990s by builder Ahmad Jamshidi, who bought the holding for $245,000 in 1995 and secured $1.7 million in 2001.
It came with $6 million hopes in 2010 when inspected by Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness as a potential Australian base for them given Furness’s mother lives in Mt Eliza.
Its most recent asking price was $3.6 million plus.
